Good question, cyberbub. I think it is nicely neither/both. I bought quite a lot of shares today. I am/was worried if silly to buy now if financing ongoing...but I did anyway. I will be buying more over coming days. And hopefully more in the next financing. I do not understand the big selling last days.

I'm pleased to see a little run of buying this morning, but slightly surprised, as the ASX closed at 55p equivalent? Is the LSE leading the ASX at the moment?

Haha well done YUMYUM!!You have nothing to do with MP (mkt cap US$3.5 billion on a 3 year mine life) but you will at every opportunity keep mentioning Pensana's "delayed bfs and capital raising".

It is meant to be crystal clear. I have got zero to do with MP. They do look overpriced. Pensana looks underpriced but needs to get BFS and financing out of the way.

MP I just point out to annoy Chinasyndrome. I agree the higher MP/Lynas other competitors go then all the better for Pensana. I am a holder and current buyer of Pensana shares.

Somehow I can't see MP and Lynas share price rises as bad thing for Pensana! How is it that Yumyum makes it seem that way? Nothing stopping anyone buying a spread of REE miners. Current producers always benefit first from commodity price rises. Developers and explorers tend to lag but eventually outperform.

I am not in any way paid by MP or anyone associated with it. I like the look of Pensana and am buying more. Maybe bought/buying too early. There must be a reason for the recent fall, although I suppose it could just be profit taking.

herlat1, I already said upthread that I did not think Pensana would have a problem in raising capital.

Agree MP might be overvalued. Depends on execution of plan and REE demand/prices in a few years' time.

Agreed China. MP looks like a PE pump and dump hence the big spend on promo and (YUMYUM)’s presence on this thread. I guess it’s a compliment to PRE really that as you say (beyond Lynas) they see PRE as a real threat!

herlat, As I pointed out above, I think somebody is so worried/terrified of Longonjo getting into Production, that not only are they spending a considerable amount of effort and money to dump the SP/MC, they are also paying/encouraging Agent Provocateurs & Trolls to post negative comment on various Bulletin Boards in an effort to destroy sentiment, ie trying to create a Panic.

However I think that they have left their run too late, Rare Earth prices are now taking off, NdPr is up 12% Today ! Once the popular press wakes up that there is a Rush on, every company that has so much as a smell of REE's is going to rise rapidly; Pensana with its already proven Tier one Resource will head the pack.

YUMYUM just checked the MP share price is now $22 !!! For a market cap $3.4 billion !! You are an absolute legend.That's over one billion dollars for each year of mine life remaining from the large hole in the ground and a EBITDA to Market Cap of 77X!! With such an amazing stock I still can't see why you are bothering to be on this thread?

YUMYUM why are you on this thread? You keep repeating that PRE has to raise funds and yes it does like all developing companies which is why it has a market cap one tenth of MP and Lynas. It also happens to have a large Sovereign Wealth Fund as its major shareholder who has funded the last two raises so when the time comes unlikely to be a problem you would have to agree? (Also with respect i doubt whether you will be asked to contribute!)

Might I suggest that the first thing that everybody does today is to checkout the price of NdPr in China overnight.

NdPr Oxide jumped around 12% and is now US$67,750/t !!!!

Looking at the sizes of today's ASX trades, it was apparent that one or two "Mum & Dad" investors are panicking, can't blame them as they do not understand why the Share-price has dropped so far and fast. In one word the reason is "Manipulation"

There is NO fundamental reason for this retraction, ALL of the metrics behind Longonjo are still as good as they were three months ago, In fact there is plenty of evidence that they have improved considerably. Our BOD has dropped more than sufficient "Hints" that they intend to proceed with a Processing plant in the UK and that their Scientists have come up with a Revolutionary process that will greatly enhance the extraction of NdPr from the Ore. Further this "Process" will not only be more efficient but it will also be simpler and cheaper and if I have guessed correctly it will enable the Longonjo plant to be built a lot quicker than originally stated. Yes we have to wait for the "Patents" before details can be released but again I suspect the wait will be well worth it.

The Pre Feasibility Study used Roskill's price projections for NdPr to calculate the financial returns under three scenarios, Low, Base and High, Those predictions have the prices of NdPr at Low US$58,000, Base US$70,000 and High US$82,500 /t by END of 2020. Monday's prices for Nd US$82,700 and Pr US$72,850/t on the New York Exchange would indicate that we are well ahead of the High projection.

Now whether or not these price rises are in response to China's threatened Embargo or just simply growth in Demand beginning to take effect, the fact is that Demand must grow sooner rather than later to produce all those EV's and Wind Turbines already being planned, and that China has now realized it has control of RE prices for at least the next five years ~ play both cards at once and REE Prices will become Astronomical !

So the question is why the "Manipulation" ? Broker Greed, Geo-political Shenanigans, Existing producer trying to kill off Competition, Luddites (Big Oil, Saudi/US) trying to delay the inevitable; Or any combination of similar vested interest. What matters is that they are Trying, and not just with Pensana, almost every other wannabee RE explorer is being hammered at a time they should be soaring; Pensana is suffering the worst because it is possibly at the head of the Pack and will potentially be the biggest producer of NdPr for several years to come. Whatever their reason, take heart that somebody is so interested in Pensana and its Rare Earths as to spend a lot of money in attacking our SP/MC.in an effort to derail Longonjo.

Our Grandchildren deserve to inherit a World that they can live in, the "Green Revolution" goes a long way to achieving that, so please think twice before letting a bunch of paid Trolls panic you into selling your shares.

So are PRE about to to do a fundraiser? Had to phone my broker to get these onto their system when they listed on LSE. Was a good move but profit taken too early, but profits profit. Overweight at 80+ so where to now? This should smash the 100 barrier easily and then some. Said they didn't need funds when they listed but that was then. RRE plays are the next bubble
