500k shares sold today - if Hedin wanted to buy more then today they have a good chance.
Could soon - if not today - buyers back bargain hunting after stock
2:1 sells today though.

Continued drift - even on no news.
Could be worried about inflation figures, but then most people need cars.
Share price has lost now 11%

Worried it could fall back to 24p then most of my profit has gone.

Can't understand if there is a bid of 28p why it should fall back to 26.3p
Wouldn't like to see it fall further. A detrimental RNS would not be good news

Those monster trades the other day.We should surely have had a holdings RNS as thresholds have been crossed, or at the very least change of account of holders' notice?.......... Unless a bid is coming!

Some investors are like sheep, once the price starts to fall the snowball gets bigger,
and more follow suit. Same as on the rise although I could have now bought in cheaper my last lot than I did. Timing is crucial!! but then we all have not got crystal balls

It is nothing to do with PDG.
Some bad general figures were out affecting the whole market.
I will still hang on there and await events.
Good time for Hedin to increase holdings
but will the bid price not be as high as it could be?
I believe a bid will come -
$64 question - when and at what price?
Hedin might feel they may get PDG cheaper than original thought.
With a squeeze on new car sales still, PDG should still be doing well.
Petrol at Tescos Hayes 156p, while other garages are riping the motorist off!

And entirely predictably trying to squeeze small holders into selling, and into thinking there won't be a takeover, judging by the price.I'm not budging, fully convinced from things I've seen in the past in other stocks, that look incredibly similar pre a full bid, that it's more likely than ever.

There is more stock coming on the market of late, so Hedin could in theory pick up more stock. I thought that Hedin was only 4% short of 30%.
If the bid happens which it could well do.

Is there any other shares in other companies worth picking up. I see ALL - into lithium batteries has risen a fair bit, but then that is a gamble with no profits to date, but it seems to keep on rising, not a stock though for grannies savings, or to load to heavily. Look at ABF who owns Primark, down from £25 to £16, and Next down from £80 to £59 - a quick way to lose money. More solid stocks are Tescos and Vodafone.

This was always going to take time to play out for Hedin to get as close to 30pc as they can - assuming that's what's going on of course.

Something like 40 million shares, potentially. That's a lot in the open market.

When they've got as much as they can squeeze out of the market, a bid will happen imho.

Looks as though a fairly dull statement from Motorpoint has hit the sector today, but I think their business model is less inflation resistant and they don't have the asset backing of the others in the sector.

Price has fallen back today to a price of just 28p. which has been bad hopefully short term news.

The only downside is if Hedin decides to pull out, but they are - reading up on them - a very acquisitive growing company and they want a hold in the U.K. especially if they were to sell Chinese electric cars which I believe they have the contract to do so.
I believe they will take PDG over not if but when, and the when could be quite soon,
why I bought some more today.

Once they go through 30 percent they are obliged to launch an offer for the rest of the equity at a price at least as high as the highest price they paid in the preceding 12 months. Of course the other shareholders could turn it down. Still think a mid 30s offer needed to get a board recommendation and of course they could go hostile

topped up again today - believe a wise move.
Not if Hedin gets PDG but when and at what price.

Can they not compulsory buy the remaining stock if they have enough of the stock themselves.
