28/1/2022 21:42 | What about the 588,882 share buy today at 21.9p Someone has belief !!!!!! £129 grand | clive7878
28/1/2022 21:35 | Many punters are guessing why Lookers have risen this week. There is obviously some buss around about something as they have had a strong week. I do wonder about increasing my holding in PDG, as on fundamentals against Lookers they are slightly cheaper in my opinion. PDG are having very, very low volumes of trading each day. Has something leaked on Lookers this week? | clive7878
28/1/2022 19:00 | Dont believe cost of living will hold back car sales Big problem is that car production is down to 1956 levels for new cars, and second hand cars have gone up 27% in the last year. Most people need cars - like food - just depends on how much they want to spend. Car dealers like customers to pay on credit so they can add 1/3rd on in interest charges - but then I always pay cash and no interest on credit cars so I am a bad customer for them. Lookers still on the rise. Lookers turned over 4% of their shares yesterday. PDG static but mostly buys Not that anyone wants a Toyota Land Criuser - but if they did there is a 4 year waiting list in Japan. | clive7878
28/1/2022 16:14 | Will be weekend press car-dealers | s34icknote
28/1/2022 15:53 | Lookers 52 p to 91 pBid premium to add !!PDG needs to catch up | s34icknote
28/1/2022 13:50 | Does anyone think the coming cost of living crisis might hold back car sales? | celeritas
28/1/2022 11:25 | Our result March lookers may | s34icknote
27/1/2022 21:45 | The rise in Lookers may be due to results due very soon ? and they have had some bullish updates, but maybe news has leaked out what is to come. PDG also have had some bullish announcements. They both could be both much the same value. PDG results I believe are out at the end of March. Both look very good value to me. Could be more movement tomorrow ??? | clive7878
27/1/2022 20:07 | Expecting 6 p eps this year on pdg .Are we about to merge with lookers ?Maybe pdg bought the shares with all the cash accumulating !Such low ratings , but cash being generated rapidly . | s34icknote
27/1/2022 19:20 | 16.1m shares traded in Lookers - something is going on there - and majority buys - up 15% - Could be a tip or a proposed bid due. I still have a strong believe in PDG though. What are the eps of Lookers going forward - does anyone know. | clive7878
27/1/2022 19:07 | Today's volume worth a look. Exploded in last hour. Similar to Lookers, though not as spectacular a rise. Clearly someone is expecting imminent activity. | microscope
27/1/2022 16:18 | And I am invested here .. The market has sort of got what is going on... But then again not really It is all about the mathematics of margin. | undervaluedassets
27/1/2022 16:17 | And in Vertu | undervaluedassets
27/1/2022 16:17 | I am in Lookers | undervaluedassets
27/1/2022 16:05 | looks like everyone moving into LOOKERS.... | jaf111
27/1/2022 16:02 | I do not think that anyone has worked out quite the leap that we are going to see in profits. No one really "gets" margins. But the maths is pretty compelling for the second hand car dealers currently. | undervaluedassets
27/1/2022 11:57 | Indeed....PDG rather becalmed!!! | jaf111
27/1/2022 11:34 | Lookers recovered , come on PDG ! | s34icknote
26/1/2022 18:06 | What about ALL and BHL both into lithium mining and batteries, a real gamble because there will be no profit for some time, but have been going the right way of late. Then could be a big profit or bust. | clive7878
26/1/2022 18:03 | Not sure I rate Lookers at the moment, today only gained what they have lost in the last 3 days, have risen since Dec from 58 to 74p but still only the same price as they were in May 21. The only thing against PDG is what liabilities they have in the next 2 years, but on fundamentals - I believe that they are solid - and we could well see 30p by the end of March - but the price does depend on next years profits - not this years profits of £80m plus which this time around makes them look cheap. There is an indicating esp. with VTU that next years profits will not match this years profits, but why investors think this I do not know. I calculate my rise on what a penny rise means in pounds, depending on the number of shares I hold. 10p a penny, 100p a penny, 500p a penny for those holding 50,000 shares, or losses as the csse might be. PDG i think will remain flat until half way through March then there will be a bit more interest in the stock. Why or not are PDG not a better stock to be in than Lookers, or VTU? | clive7878
26/1/2022 16:19 | Look up 6 percent | s34icknote
25/1/2022 19:09 | On fundamentals should not PDG rise on results in March, although the stock market is never logical. | clive7878
25/1/2022 19:06 | On LSE says 1.9m sold and 250k bough, so sold excluding the 1.3m would leave only 600k. Maybe the guy wanted the funds for something else. Share price appeared up 0.2p today. Unless it is investors getting scared after a 3 day drop, cant see why investors would be selling, as fundamentals appear to be very strong. I am vaguely thinking of buying more. | clive7878 |
