Disappointing to see the stock fall 0.3p today, should be only a blip though.
I am quite excited with PDG as I believe it is much better value than VTU.

can see the share price reaching 30p by the end of March, and going further
as it looks a very solid stock with a low pe ratio and very good prospects moving forward.

The reason why it is not moving very fast at the moment is that it is not on investors radar screen, but when it is it could move quite fast especially as on 74% of the stock is available, the rest being held by Hedin..

Talking about covid - there have been 3.5 million infections in the last month,
and an increased number of deaths now.

It is just common sense and one does not have to have more than 2 brain cells to realise that if every one wore a FFP3 mask when in contact with others - which are the best protection in a hospital covid ward - the infection rate could be cut down by 90 per cent. In China these people would be regarded as being amti-social and thoughtless.

Hedin reading Hedin / history appears to be a very progressive company,
they will either continue working with PDG or most probably bid for them.
The Chinese have chosen Hedin for a sale and service partner.

30p a share is quite a possible target to achieve within the next couple of month
and I would expect the share price to slowly rise in the coming week.
The problem is now PDG is not on many investors radar list,
but when it is - and it will be highlighted on the next set of results -
it will surely start to motor - to excuse the pun - it could well have
an exciting year in 2022, especially if covid is less of a problem.

The Sweden-based Hedin Group operates more than 120 dealerships in Sweden, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Danemark and Switzerland, and in January it appointed former Pendragon chief executive Trevor Finn as a non-executive director.Privately-owned, Hedin is an acquisitive group, and has added several businesses in mainland Europe in recent years.Anders Hedin, who earlier this year criticised the bonus payment of Pendragon chief executive Bill Berman, said: "Since Hedin Group first become a shareholder in January 2019, we have supported Pendragon in its mission to regain its position as the leading automotive retail business in the UK and we are pleased with the positive steps the company has taken this year."Management's strategy and the recent appointment of an independent chairman are encouraging developments from which positive momentum can be built."We are supportive of the management and looks forward to work constructively with the board to continue with Pendragon's success, to the benefit all stakeholders."Before Finn retired in 2019 from Pendragon, which retails under the Stratstone and Evans Halshaw brands, he had been developing a strategy for Pendragon to increase its focus on used car retailing through its Evans Halshaw Car Store supermarket chain and increase e-commerce services across the whole grou

s34icknote - interesting post

Reading up on Hedin it could well put a bid in at a later date.
One could be looking at a 25% premium to today share price or even more.

hxxps://www.auto-retail.co.uk/agenda/hedin-preparing-takeover-bid-for-pendragon/

Looks like it could be a real possibility

That could account for very low trading volumes in PDG.

Next couple of months ?

The reason why there are not many shares traded in PDG is that the stock is not on many peoples radar at the moment. It is slowly rising on a small volume of stock.
If the volumes were higher then there would be a more radical movement in share price,
which I believe is should to come in the next few weeks.

One cannot know the actual sell price without doing a dummy trade either,
as the buy / sell price is much closer than the spread being quoted.

Very slow trading in PDG, none sold, 60k bought.
The share price could motor quite fast if some substantial buying was to take place.
On Broker has a target price of 30p per share.
What we need is a share buy tip.
With profits of £80m and a capitalisation of £324 - a pe of 4 seems silly to me.
Biggest problem is the average Motor / Retail pe ratio.
What we also need is eps expectations for 2022/23.
I have been in smaller companies before and any good or especially neutral or bad news can have a dramatic effect on price.
I can see these moving by the end of March.
