I'd also be happy.

I expect a x4 to happen, but I hold on a 2-3 year basis and in the assumption that a degree of normality will resume and their restructuring will reap rewards. Having said that, a quick rise to 25p could happen on a good update, and I think we will drift higher in the coming weeks/months.

I'll buy more on any weakness but I am not sure we will see 7.0p again.

I think you’re being overly optimistic. Happy to be wrong

Hmm.. so if July August sales continues we have a yearly profit of approx £44M, and if PE of 10 then MC £438M, which is a x4 bagger.

Seems we are now over the worst and have now hit the profitability turnaround point with decent share price gains ahead. Vaccine will come at some point and as long as lockdown does not extend into showrooms the +ve trend should continue.

I'm off to sit and wait.

It is going to be intersting to see if their rationalised structure still brings home the bacon during this pandemic.

Historically, Pendragon never delivered....their last plan was to double used car volumes FFS and no one in the industry, or their employees actually believed it.

Its the New CEO's plan so lets see.

The plan includes Pinewood growth which is interesting as from my 35 years in the industry, I never knew of one Retail non pendragon motor business that used it.....

My concern is that it is a five year plan- thats a long time, too long IMO.

Well , my new car finally arrives on Wednesday !

Now , this may or may not be of interest .

They could only supply me "from stock" .

They are struggling from a lack of car transporter drivers .
Blaming corona 19 - as you do .

But , as an apology , I am getting the convenience pack ,
including rear view camera - and "active parking 2"
(whatever that is) ! Not to mention a full tank of juice !!

All for only just over £26 grand .

WOW!!!

It was hard to catch that 5p because of a very wide spread, the bottom for buying was close to 6p.

Well called , Beeks , mate .

Wish I'd snapped up a few when they were hovering around the 5p area !
Thought about it . Decided to "wait and see" . Oh well .

Now , my car will be three years old next month - got it new from Evans Halshaw .
I'm not going down the MOT route , even though it's immaculate with less than
ten thou on the clock .

Hey - good news Pendragon - as you have treated me fantastically ever since
I got it , you are about to sell me a new car ( just under thirty grand ) .

Must be plenty of people in the same situation !

Nearly at 10 today. As I said.

I still think pictures of packed forecourts next week will signal a stellar rise, albeit short term. Expect another 50% from here before pausing.

People will buy cars to avoid public transport.... coronavirus.

Some poeple will now telecommute and wont need a car... I reckon most will still get a car to get around.

The turnaround should put us at 15p short term from there 25p not much later, long term potentially higher again.

I disagree...
confidence fuels car sales and there isn't much of that in the economy right now
there is also a lot of aged stock to move at lower margins
we will see soon enough and happy to be wrong

As expected, a run on the 10p mark coming. You watch the pictures of packed car lots when they open back up, could take this to 15p.

Showrooms back open next week.

I'd expect to see this around the 10-12p mark by then.
