Another very encouraging update. We have increasing numbers of profitable contracts. Profits from contracts are catching up with expenditure.

Looks to have revenue momentum from Q4 and first 2 months in 2021. Given that the average install time is 5.5 months then this underpins H1 this year. The future looks bright.

Quiet here. The RSA in October should coincide with the publication of the annual results which may generate a bit more interest especially if they won their category award.

PCI Pal is a finalist in the 2020 Retail Systems Awards for its new PCI Pal Digital solution in the Omnichannel Solution of the Year category. The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in the retail sector and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 19th October 2020.

7 July: FY20 has been a year of significant progress for the Group including strengthening our balance sheet with the fundraise. Nonetheless, given the COVID-19 pandemic, we are moving into FY21 with a careful & balanced approach to increased investment in our North American operation and expansion of our product management functions. As we start FY21 with a strong level of TACV, and as referenced above, some of the ongoing delays in decision-making and contract signing have inevitably created some degree of uncertainty as to the timing of both new deals being signed and implementation timing of new and recent contract wins. Whilst we remain confident of delivering significant year on year growth in FY21, given the current environment, it is prudent to adjust our market guidance downwards for the year to account for these factors. As highlighted above, we are confident in the long term strength of our market opportunity and now expect to grow revenue by between 50 to 60% in FY21.

That looks like an important flagship contract even if we don't see it helping the numbers this year. The virus is going to accelerate the move to online shopping and the need for our products.

From ARC statement today
While there has been no impact to date, if the spread of the virus is prolonged it may lead to companies delaying capital expenditure, which may reduce new business.

They definitely have enough cash for 2020. It also looks like there will be a big increase in cash intake so it remains to be seen what the situation will be at the end of 2020.

Trade debtors stood at GBP1.8 million (2018: GBP1.7 million) and on average we are taking just over two months to collect payment from our customers.

The Group finished the period with cash of GBP1.5 million (30 June 2019: GBP1.5 million) following the receipt of GBP1.5 million of bank loans during the period. Net debt stood at GBP0.02 million (30 June 2019: cash of GBP1.5 million) with a further GBP1.25 million of facilities available to draw up to October 2020. Our future cash position will be boosted by the large US contract announced on the 19(th) December where the customer has agreed to pay its three-year licence and set up fees in advance. The first tranche of this payment, which includes set up and year one licence, was received in January 2020. The remaining two years' licences will be invoiced when agreed delivery project milestones have been met and is expected to be later this year.

We will have to wait and see if it needs more cash if orders dry up in the short term an what the impact is on partners trying to sell a product that there are delays on delivery. Bit of a potential credibility issue.

Losses starting to fall, despite expansion of headcount, as revenue takes off. Still some way to go before we see just how successful our investment will be, but it still continues to look a great long term prospect.

The rapid build up of sales continues to be very impressive. At this rate the company will be profitable in the not too distant future.
