Results due tomorrow - could hearld a new beginning under this leadership - Positives are PCF is making profits, expectations arn't that high so it could get a good run now that the MK is £2.97m

It looks very undervalued at under 5x earnings - 10p would be fair value imho

DS was positive in their last broker note and Ireland's had this listed last week as a buy, could be ready to roll ;)

sol - they have been blaming 'no credit' for years.... even before the credit crunch. The North Korean'esque replacement of Nelson didn't help restore confidence

all imho

Still appears that the lending banks have no confidence in the cabal that manages this outfit.

I have never understood why PCF don't appoint some serious non-executive talent to provide oversight, its like the Maybury clique have something to hide and don't want outside scrutiny?

... doesn't help that they disclose there's an 'arrears problem' but refuse to tell shareholders how large it is or its % to the loan book. IMHO the banks know and thats probably the reason they refuse to extend additional credit facilities to PCF ???

still taking your bitter pills Knowing, at least your consistent.....(how much have you lost again from your 38p buy tip?)

lol...what you're saying equals "employee's wouldn't touch this dog"... your probably right, who wants to lose money on a dog like PCF! Mangement don't! They hardly invest any of their vast salaries they take out of PCF buying shares

But at least your getting more realistic, once upon a time you where ramping this dog via 2 threads as a bargain @38p... so 20p means your moving closer to my view.

Laughable that you criticise when you best effort was posting "NAV@50 bargain buy 38p" which is no better than trying to scam PIs in my book

I posted that Karma Cars had problems, problems strangely PCF tried to disguise - I posted all the facts and info months before the horrific truth was finally outted and the share price tanked, so do you seriously think I even bother reading half your nonsense ramps. My advice is save your shrapnel for the bingo Knowing as the stock market is beyond you

NY - PCF has the wrong strategy, its been wrong for the last 5 yrs - worse still management is weak and operates the company as a fiefdom to benefit insiders.

The only positive is they are now profitable, but that is more by accident than design. Shareholders should be thanking whatever Gods they pray to that during the credit boom management's plans where held back by a laughable mix of poor judgement and tragic errors that directly led to legal problems and entering markets they knew nothing about. Shareholders should count their blessings that none of this worked as had PCF extended further into those dead duck markets (selling cars and consumer lend) it probably would have bankrupted the company rather than today's position where the worst is no body appears prepared to lend PCF a new banking line.

Going forward that is the problem - no Bank wants to lend PCF anything so even if PCF had a queue of borrowers lined round the block it couldn't profit from it.

..meanwhile the board increases their remuneration like they are the super stars of the credit industry.

Eventually this will go private or be took over by a more nimble outfit which has clean credit lines but lacks a client book - PCF would be a low cost takeover play at c10/11p per share - history is already littered with these cosy deals BWE being a listed stock experience but many private plays have been taken on by small investment funds like Zeus Capital.

IHUK is a better investment - its niche and has a strong lending franchise - it has new banking lines, acquired last year - earnings relative to share price are faultless and the stock is tightly held +70% by insiders meaning any decent buying interest will pop the price as the MMs scramble to balance.

IHUK is small and ignored but as the market reveals it will i'm sure have its day in the sun ;)

Chart looks like its trying to get on the road to recovery, once the general markets rebound this one should do well, patience required with many of these recovery plays.
