16/3/2016 10:47 | @melf - I agree it seems to me profits almost doubled but PAYS decided to put a load of aquisition costs into this years figures. Intangible asset write down seems to me that they are writing off the value in the Skrill software platform. | ralphmalph
16/3/2016 10:24 | Well i am still in and focusing on the the next update as i think thats the key for share price increase (although Spreadex told me my position had been closed!!) Can see why people unhappy but take out Skrill costs and profits have nearly doubled and yes debt is higher but this is not wholly unexpected and can see this being paid down over next two years. The market does not appear unhappy and that for me is the main issue i was worried any 'bad' news may see a 6% - 10%+ drop, this has not happened and we are in the blue! For me this is a long term investment! I have my stops in place and will take each update as it comes, would be nice see some increase next Monday when it enters FTSE250 but not convinced we will see much of a rise. Feels like it may hover around the 390-400 mark untill there is more news maybe at H1 update. | 1861andy
16/3/2016 10:20 | Unfortunately, for many the headline is the bottom line (including CNBC this morning). You only have look at the undelying financial statements to see that results are quite impressive. For those that don't do their reasearch properly, the comparatives should look good next year!! | ![]() melf
16/3/2016 10:04 | HerewegoUK - don't see anyone getting annoyed??? | ![]() stuart37
16/3/2016 09:57 | They were never going to upgrade the 2016 results at prelims!!! No CEO would! Wait for h1 or agm for the rerating in earnest - this is running 12 months ahead of analyst proformas | ![]() eh9
16/3/2016 09:54 | Those of us that have been in this one for sometime will now be sitting on substantial profits, this mornings results don't seem to of excited the market so far so I think any gains in the short term are likely limited. For this reason I have sold to seek returns elsewhere. I may return. 40% of my pot was in PAYS which was another reason for my decision so don't get annoyed with those of us that have decided to take our money. Profit is the name of the game and that's what we've done. | ![]() herewegouk
16/3/2016 09:45 | As someone who has only been a holder for a few months I guess I am a little disappointed by the market reaction. I can sell now for a modest profit and I suspect I may well do so. For all those who are banging on about FTSE 250 entry, the big funds will have already acquired their stakes as it was a given that they would gain entry. The statistics actually say that a company's share price tends to outperform the market prior to entry and then underperform for a period post entry. I dont expect any major downside from here but equally I suspect they will struggle to leave the £4 line behind which is why I will consider selling. | ![]() salpara111

16/3/2016 09:23 | The real action will start on Monday imo .I would agree with your shorting action miti if the stock was trading at sky high earnings multiple. As it is ,it has a lot of catching up to do with its peers.Good luck anyway. | ![]() nurdin
16/3/2016 09:16 | Have shorted this. Its had a good run till results and ftse 250 entry. Its time to start selling off . | ![]() miti 1000
16/3/2016 09:06 | Underlying EBITDA IMO is what people will focus on, cost savings from deal and forward looking guidance. DYOR but IMO once IR starts, city will see disparity between PAYS and say WPG and other peers..... | ![]() qs99
16/3/2016 09:04 | Debt not a problem - leverage is minor and company growing strongly. Skrill was a fantastic acquisition - as has been proved in these results. Accretive acquisition in year 1? - shrewd buy and will increase their growth rate and global customer base. Gap now filled at £3.89 so should hopefully end today well over £4 | ![]() stuart37
16/3/2016 09:02 | Silly pis - by h1 and certainly h2 a huge amount of that debt will be paid down. The P&L is running 12 months ahead of the Edison research detailed forecast i.e. 2016 looks like being more like their 2017 when you add at least 13% growth proforma 2015 h2 run rate | ![]() eh9
16/3/2016 08:59 | Great results, everyone knows about the debt.Look at the amazing growth and prospects. | ![]() malcolmmm
16/3/2016 08:52 | Have held these for a long time, but now out. Don't like the debt. Good luck to the holders. | ![]() petes5

16/3/2016 08:21 | Oh dear, out from under a rock they arrive........We will be in the FTSE 250 on Monday, keep calm and carry on. | the juggler
16/3/2016 08:20 | Well they have just passed GO by keeping the promised performance. The profit drop is 'technical' to me considering the large borrowings to seal the deal compensated by increased turnover and potential savings. Now for ftse250 entry. | ![]() aspex
16/3/2016 08:18 | Not good result this warning those holders. | admin900
16/3/2016 08:16 | Statutory profit after tax impacted by acquisition-related costs, including amortisation of acquired intangibles, largely relating to Skrill. | ![]() chizgreen68
16/3/2016 08:12 | I'm a bit confused and sat on a huge profit so I am out for now. | ![]() herewegouk |
