If the share price rose every week for 3 months/13 weeks at the rate we rose today i.e. 1.4% After 13 weeks of gaining "just" 1.4% per week the compounded gains would be circa 20% and that is a figure many investors aspire to on an annual basis but can only dream of, such are the vagaries of the markets.
