@jovi1 - This will not be a labour government, it will be a communist government. This is why 1970 Labour MP's keep trying to change the leadership. The PLP know these people and know their views.

@verger - Of course the electorate were well informed for the brexit vote, they had lived with EU governance since its inception in 2000. They did not need politicians to tell them about the EU (good or bad) they had made up their minds about it a long time before voting.

Both shorts have reduced again... (note the delayed notification on the AEK reduction on 30th May, which should have been reported yesterday). A combined reduction of 0.18%, from 2.92% down to 2.74%. Only c. 13.3M shares to go......

Apparently some analyst are saying that the markets wouldn't mind Corbyn getting in as Brexit would be softer ,unfortunately we would also get that crazy inept Abbot woman. IMO it wont happen and May will have her majority.

So, ralphmalph, the electorate were well-informed and intelligent when they voted for Brexit but now they are being duped by a cuddly granddad figure. Maybe we should all move to Venezuela.

Because every professional investor in the world will be selling UK stocks when Chancellor McMao implements the policies in his little red book.

These people are not sensible they are hard left trots and marxists. They may well have put a bloke up on the TV who does a nice cuddly granddad act with his homemade jam. but they are economically mad. They will spend and spend and borrow and borrow and nationalise and nationalise and they unions will be in no10 getting 20%+ payrise for the public sector until it just goes bang and the collapse comes.

Look at Venezuela that is their model.

If Corbyn gets in just go straight to cash. USD, the toilet paper the Europeans use, even the Zimbawean currency would be better.

Great Britain will become Great Venezuela.

Anyone have an opinion on the likely knock on effects if it's a Conservative or Labour win next week? Which is best for PAYS in your opinion?

I wonder if the c. 3M buy last night was one of the shorters, I have noticed before lateness in short reporting.

If you want to discuss another stock then can I suggest that you do it on the correct board.Others may not have any interest in the stock you discuss and I'm sure you wouldn't like to hear my opinion on it.Still sat on my hands at the moment personally with PAYS, let's see what the next couple of days brings as will certainly stay in for the ride if the shorters keep reducing!Certainly won't be cashing in my whole investment given possible M&A activity, Shorters running for the hills and the buy-backs as a worst car scenario support.

This also is my largest holding, five times the size of safecharge, phtm and xlm. All of which pay decent divis.
