Been taking profits on a great run on other stocks so got a good amount to add to holding in PAYS, bit wary of the election but I think May will sweep in. I am thinking that now the shorters are running scared that an acquisition will be sooner rather than later. A good sign would be if AEK, PEP etc. went long

Great that Barclays have reiterated paysafe and wirecard outperform ratings today whilst downgrading worldpay. Quote from analyst available on google finance

Well if that c. 3M purchase after close last night was the shorters, buying back the balance of 11.1M may help it comfortably clear the £5 mark!

This share is my largest holding in my portfolio. I have traded it a few times.
I have decided to just sit on my hands now.Just can't afford to be out when M/A or a T/O RNS lands.I think it has a lot furter to go past £5 it is just a question of patience now.
The Shorters reducing is also a very good sign. Spotlight lot have played their card far too many times here.Though it would not surprise me if they came back again with some more rubbish.
The other thing I don't do with this share is to have a stop lose on it.

Both shorters reduced on Friday, shorts now down to 2.92% (the question is, can they get out quick enough?)

Yes. It is updated late afternoon on the trading day after the position was reached.

The fca is the most up to date and is published four mins after close every day

Can someone give me the link for the FCA data. Is it the spreadsheet here under 'Public Short positions disclosed to us - daily update'? Does that have same day info after closing? I'd appreciate clarification.

According to FCA website the latest short holdings notified for PAYS at 26/5/17 are 3.1% (AEK 1.23% & PEPM 1.87%), nothing for Jane Street!

Only use the fca s own website - Jane street is not current and BOTH shorts are now wiggling to get out!

New Jane Street short position relates to 28/4/2015 and is a historical position!
There are sometimes anomalies in the way FCA spreadsheet works. Any positions currently above 0.5% are shown on the front spreadsheet called "current disclosures".

New Shorter, Jane Street Group LLC have a short of 0.67%.
The other two have reduced. Total short positions now 3.77%.
