04/8/2016 16:59 | Food for thought. Since this Co started trading on AIM the price of gold has risen over 300%. At today's Bid price the value lost to holders since then has been 80% over that same period of time. And yet the management past & present walk on water - to some - having done nowt wrong along the way. | lochlea
30/7/2016 17:28 | older but still relevant perhaps though of course finance has already been dealt with since then imo | hazl

26/7/2016 08:48 | Reality is that Gold price has risen 20% over past 12 months. Whilst PGD share price has fallen over 20% in past year. A differential of 40%. Just saying. | lochlea
21/7/2016 11:50 | ECB data at 12.30 perhaps? Change of direction for gold perhaps? I could be wrong, wait and see. | hazl

07/7/2016 21:16 | Good posts justino. I genuinely like PGD and remember them from last time when they went as high as 70p! Now things are different,of course and perhaps it is now regarded as an exploration company until things sort themselves out. Exploration companies are slower to take off....OVG that I also have a few in, has only just taken off in the last couple of days. I got a few more here only last week and am hopeful for the future. IMO | hazl
07/7/2016 21:14 | Do I remember the days Humphries would buy shares here & elsewhere and a RNS would be issued? And a great hullabaloo would be made on here by the resident fan club? History shows that Humphries's purchases on open market were a signal for the PI to sell. I guess the difference these days is the only way is up for the share price | lochlea
07/7/2016 12:42 | I've not been following this one closely recently, so correct me if I'm wrong. But is there not likely a huge stock overhang from the recent placings causing the lack of upward movement in the sp!? | bushtuckaman
07/7/2016 12:27 | .....just a quick calculation. If we produce the proposed (at least) 82,000 oz by end of 2017 at $850/oz all in cost, that's $500 per oz profit or over $40m dollars in the coffers. Between now and then we surely will get revalued? | justino
07/7/2016 11:56 | Back in March i mentioned that we needed 3 things to happen for PGD to satisfy investors: 1. Cap Oeste to start producing 17,000oz 4th quarter this year, on schedule, which will be a good indication of whether we will meet the 67,000 oz total for 2017 (Total 82,000oz). ACCORDING TO AGM THIS IS ON TARGET. HOPEFULLY WE HAVE NEWS ON THIS SOON, MAYBE PERMITS ETC? 2. Any large sellers and/or sale overhangs to clear. I STILL THINK WE HAVE AN OVERHANG OR SELLER THAT IS HOLDING THE PRICE DOWN. REMEMBER THIS SHARE WAS HELD BY LARGE INSTITUTIONS THAT CANNOT HOLD SHARES ONCE THEY FALL BELOW A CERTAIN MARKET CAP. I THINK THE PRICE WILL RISE QUICKLY WHEN THAT STOPS. 3. Gold price to remain circa $1200+. TODAY $1360. It's frustrating that we haven't risen like other gold stocks recently but I am confident we will catch up if we meet the above. | justino
07/7/2016 10:17 | Even that historic old basket case MARL has been transformed into a progressive explorer and is showing a three fold share price increase since Feb. LOL | gsg
07/7/2016 10:10 | Hi lochlea - Trying to find some positives from a news vacuum at PGD,the last couple of announcements show that the board is being restructured and the last of the 'meal ticket' non exec directors have gone.(What did any of them ever contribute during their tenure?). As you previously stated, this is the quarter when some action was promised so lets hope there is non of the back sliding which the previous bunch were famous for. If they can show that they have met some targets and can live up to previous announcements then maybe PGD could join the gold party. Many gold and silver miners are showing 4-5 bagger returns since January as a result of their exposure to the gold/silver price. The new slimmed down board really need to step up to the plate. | gsg
07/7/2016 08:46 | Hi GSG - I think everyone thought that. But the reality of the past 6 months tells a different story and PoG has consistently had little impact on the share price performance. FACT. It's a bit like what's happening with the "previous bunch" at LND. Now a significant gold explorer (after a decade of insisting they were essentially a nickel player). The loyal, long suffering PI has been well & truly shafted there too and unlikely to get a return on original investment. | lochlea |
