16/3/2016 11:02 | hazl - I've lost count of the number of (very bullish) articles Ford has written over the years on PGD and its ugly sister LND. Can't help but think he must be on the payroll. He's of course entitled to his views. And you're entitled to post the link to them on here. The only point I'm making is to repeat it is a bit desperate. No? Where the "balance" in doing so? | lochlea
16/3/2016 10:24 | gold up as we speak however | hazl
16/3/2016 10:22 | Just trying to provide some balance to the bb. When I think there's some time for caution I post as above. | hazl
16/3/2016 09:34 | hazl What's the point of re-posting again Big Al Ford's article??????? And you say you don't ramp??? LMAO luni2 4 Mar'16 - 12:02 - 11987 of 12047 And you can take that Proactive Investors article as just another bulletin board ramp by shareholders in the company. Definitely not an objective or independently sourced article! | lochlea
16/3/2016 08:43 | Do hope the Fed doesn't make hints about further interest rate rises this afternoon. That seems to be causing some pressure on the gold price at the moment.8-( IMO | hazl
14/3/2016 14:37 | Eeyores a plenty here....just as well some of us are upbeat. No doubt if and when it is 36-50p again, you will be refusing to sell and thinking its wonderful....imo | hazl
14/3/2016 13:41 | Good grief hazl...... you seem to be one of those sad cases that if your post is the last one...... you've someho make your point & won the debate. Just because I voice pluses & minuses with PGD doesn't mean I have changed my mind!! With regards to Van Eck...... you completely miss my point about their holding of PGD stock...... and that's related to 1) yes, they haven't sold but 2) they haven't bought a single share in over 16 months since they dumped 30 million odd and 3) PGD has been consistently one of the very worst performing stocks in their entire portfolio of almost 60 similar type gold miners around the world trading on various markets. Must dash...... | lochlea
14/3/2016 13:32 | so why has van eck invested in PGD and gold miners? ....... | hazl
14/3/2016 12:18 | www.vaneck.com/marke | hazl
14/3/2016 11:56 | I am sticking with these for future rewards....they are seeing gold going upto 1400$ an ounce in some cases! IMO | hazl
14/3/2016 11:50 | The POG is everything.lol If you hold Tesco shares do you check the price of milk and vegetables every day? After all the price of broccolli is everything. | gsg
14/3/2016 11:50 | by the way hazl...... having worked once upon a time for 18 years in the marketing division of a multi national company based in NY........ I think from your posts on here you'd make an excellent PPI salesman!! | lochlea
14/3/2016 11:02 | The phrase uptrending is the thing I take away from the article above. IMO | hazl
14/3/2016 11:00 | JUST FOUND! | hazl
14/3/2016 10:48 | Actually CEY hasn't done a lot better.....40pish low 90p ish now! That puts it into perspective. It just 'feels' like it because of the spread and relative prices. Come on PGD! You're doing well. | hazl
14/3/2016 10:47 | Two things. Firstly people resort to personal remarks when they haven't got a good argument....chutes. Secondly, the reason lochlea is because the stock market is always about the furure not the past. When it was 36p the wise money was leaving as they knew gold... POG which IS the important thing, was going to go down. I started getting interested in gold stocks again in December because I anticipated gold going back up again. Good luck. IMO | hazl
14/3/2016 10:37 | Well, the way I look at it hazl..... is different to you...... IF PoG is "everything" as you claim........ then why when it was exactly same price as today's level (ie $1250) back in 2011.......... PGD's share price was just shy of 36p?????? That's a rhetorical question by the way! | lochlea
14/3/2016 10:36 | hazl, the way I see it is - your just plain thick this has little to do with POG at the moment, it's how and where they will raise millions to fund next mine, and how their credibility now stacks up after the revenue from lomada operation has gone on wages. if they do get funds at 1.5p, no guarantee, we might see 2p again in 6 months time. | chutes01
14/3/2016 10:27 | But it is off its lows ....of about 1p from what I can see! That's doubled! Now going through a bit of consolidation. This is just a tiny MC company,it will catch on eventually in my opinion. It's things like CEY with a larger MC....which I also hold.... that are racing ahead first. Least that's the way I see it. | hazl
14/3/2016 10:21 | For me, because of PGD's long history for failing to deliver on promises, its credibility is currently very low (hence why buying pressure of PGD stock is non-existent) and PoG will only become a significant factor for PGD when it's eventually producing a healthy P&L account. PoG for PGD certainly isn't everything. Not as the Company stands at the moment. Far from it. PGD's share price is effectively back to where it was 6 months ago. During which time PoG has performed relatively well. | lochlea
14/3/2016 09:57 | The price of POG is everything! Without a good price every gold share has suffered anybody can see that. Sure then you look at different factors in individual firms. Four years ....through the lows! Why haven't you sold if you feel like this?. I would have thought you were pleased they were off their lows. The only way they are going to rise is if people see they are undervalued and buy them. If people are consistently negative why would they be interested? Sorry to be harsh but could it be that you didn't see a bear market coming and now you can't see a bull market starting? IMO | hazl
14/3/2016 09:45 | chutes & I have been here consistently for past 14 years. Don't give us a lecture on 'patience' or the ups & downs of share dealing.. As to post content. There's nothing wrong with being honest and saying what you genuinely believe to be the case. I can be positive but I need something to be positive about. Over-kill ramping on how PoG is performing doesn't cut any ice with me and frankly does very little for PGD until it produces a P&L account worth shouting about. | lochlea |
