11/2/2008 14:58 | Well,I would sooner lose all than sell for peanuts. | tobyjug
11/2/2008 14:48 | held for ages topped up again today a 500% drop in the last week,i dont think so. | tryinghard2
11/2/2008 14:37 | In fairness guys this is probably what was expected. I had been trying to work out the cash position based on wages/costs etc quoted and cash available at last set of figures and realised that they were likely to run out of cash. I think several people on here have been suggesting that a placing would almost certainly be needed before this company could get to profitability. I just thought it would take until the results were announced before we saw something like this but maybe they decided to bite the bullet and announce this now instead. I still hold the same small holding I bought on news about the patent. Maybe we will see a placing with Imperial Innovations lifting their investment again, after all they have managed to sell out quite a lot of shares over the last few months. | whonosewhy
11/2/2008 14:00 | Not much to elaborate on... Looks like they are running out of cash and are looking for a sale of the assets - i.e. the patent. Note they refer to cessation of trading for the subsidiary Parametric Optimisation Solutions Ltd and not the PLC - but again it is not too clear what this means for shareholders. Pretty miserable really. Let us know when you get a response tj tia. | longshanks
11/2/2008 13:55 | L,can you elaborate? I have emailed company. | tobyjug
11/2/2008 13:38 | Whats all this then! | tobyjug
11/2/2008 09:08 | Back to very tight limits again - both on the bid and offer. Anyone with L2 who can shed some light? | longshanks
11/2/2008 08:08 | Got it,thanks. | tobyjug
11/2/2008 08:07 | Toby, let me know cand I'll take it off again Toby. | dorset64
11/2/2008 08:05 | Dorset,I signed off after my last post,so I have missed the company. | tobyjug
10/2/2008 20:53 | Longshanks, I have removed the ticker as I don't want the price to go up before I buy and thanks for your reply. I will do a little more research now and poss look to buy in next week. I will let you know and let me know if you decide to buy a few.Certainly dooes appear to be too good to be true, the problems is when it appears that way, they usually are. Dorset | dorset64
10/2/2008 20:31 | Good find Dorset. A nice little company in a strong niche - very tempting. Might be exposed to a turndown in consumer spending but on its growth figures alone it appears over-sold right now. Another one to add to my list. Thanks. | longshanks
10/2/2008 20:13 | Long/Toby - as you probably know I have been in and out of these a fews times now but just asking a question, as you state above and o/t for a mo longshanks, but talking of good co's off-the-radar Co's, there one whos ticker is . Great recent resultts, increased profits, Co. buying back shares etc etc etc everything looks too good. Take a look and say what you guys think. Dorset | dorset64
10/2/2008 20:05 | You've been looking at those UAV's I take it. Very interesting subject area that could really take off (excuse the pun). | longshanks
10/2/2008 19:39 | L,been in pdx since 11/02 at 30p,stuck with thru thick and thin, although creamed off the top now and then,my core holding are freebies. they do need to come up with the goods this year tho! Re paro ,lets not forget defence contracts in the future! | tobyjug
10/2/2008 19:08 | Not going quite so fast as you but I am still marginally ahead. Another 1.5 to go although I'm scared I will forget to stop: 5m sounds a nice round number though. Probably take up another 300-400K before Easter as and when funds become available. Problem is that there are so many good alternatives at the mo. Good call on PDX by the way - exactly the kind of company I go for. Off my radar until it took off but I might buy some there if a good buying opportunity comes along. | longshanks
10/2/2008 18:01 | Longshanks, good post. btw,I am going for 1%. 1.72 mil to go. Are you still on track? | tobyjug
08/2/2008 09:34 | Topped up. | tobyjug
05/2/2008 21:06 | thanks longshanks - I'll keep watching | whonosewhy
05/2/2008 19:26 | I imagine there is a large spread because Market Makers don't want a rush of buyers but equally are happy to wait for people to tire and sell up. Online limits are still healthy. I shall be buying some more in the next couple of months or if it drops below 0.2p. | longshanks
05/2/2008 10:43 | Is anyone able to explain why the large spread is being maintained? Looking back it looks like trades have been limited and last purchase was 29th Jan. Surely if the mm's wanted to get some activity and get someone to buy some of these shares they should be dropping the offer price? If they needed shares they would increase the bid to encourage some sales? Just puzzling me at the moment. That said I am waiting for the results before I consider topping up anyway. | whonosewhy
02/2/2008 21:58 | Welcome back TobyJug. Hope you had a good break. Things have quietened down a little bit here - probably for the best. | longshanks |
