The photo of him in the 2022 annual report (and all those in previous years) was taken in 2009.
The 2023 AR has no photos...hmmm...

What an unfortunate mess...

£30K clear each month is enough to keep the castle warm and live enough, looks like he's lost most of his wealth with this, so you may be right.

To be fair, he's lost a huge amount of money. Lots invested at much higher share price than today.
But if you're of a mindset that income of £500K pa is all you need until you drop off, and you don't really care at all about the capital, and don't need to achieve anything than an annual report with some dreams each year.... then there's no motivation to do anything.
Which is maybe the case if one looks at the track record here.

His rep is trashed within the investment community, but he still takes 50k each month
He won't care much.
The whole thing has cost a lot of people a lot of money, and Stonehage Fleming must be livid.

Chutes I used to have the greatest faith in TC in 2010 when he first started after his Dana escapade, but it’s crystal clear now that he just got lucky with Dana, seems he has either lost internet through age, or he has just lost his touch, not a single Acquistion for many years, yet he kept talking big with we are running the slide rule of per a dozen companies, well what cake of that slide rule? Just kept sliding it seems, loaning finds out at a very low Libor rate to family and friends is just not on, even Ryan Strougler left! It’s just a shell of a company now, no real direction and the ship is just drifting in the ocean with no captain, it’s just a pirate sailing it! There was Perth, the Great hope, somebody shouting this will be brought to frustration, well that person was wrong, and they were also shouting TC had his eye on Xcite energy, nothing came of that, either that person is TC trying to catch more fools and trick them into investing in this shambles of a company, or that certain person is so deep under he can’t afford to just walk away and lose everything he has invested, sad either way! But this company is literally going nowhere!

wind is incompetence hidden by subsidy - any value attached to an asset held by PMG should be sold before the subsidy disappears which it will - its just when

Now now, Our Tom likes his windmills, it pays his £50k each month, and Andrew Smith wants his share too
A total hotchpotch of abject incompetence, fleecing shareholders each month.

British electricity mix at 9am on 1st Sep 2023

🏭Gas 52.3% Biomass 4.5% Coal 0.1%
🍃Wind 6.4% Solar 6.2% Hydro 1.2%
⚛️Nuclear 17.3%
➡️Imports 11.2% Other 0.5%
🪫Storage 0.2%

Oil has many uses but when you look at the data above it would seem sensible to me to seek gas not oil. more especially as the other main source of energy other than electricity is.....gas

SOB like Perth did? 🤷‍a94;️ just saying, I was right about Perth, and I guess this will follow the same suit more heavy oil,

See Dana ? Tom’s old company has just jumped on Board with Deltic, they don’t seemed to be interested in PMG

sonofthebull - i dont disagree that he should do whats best for the owners of PMG. TC is the biggest owner but 70% is owned by others - shareholders are getting a poor deal lending capital out to TC at 2.5% - related party loans make no sense as it creates a big negative for capital to invest and back the growth of the business. the large salary makes no sense. PMG and TC are still breathing - agree and he has had to deal with the worst of circumstances in the underlying market - but there are some easy management wins to increase the status of the business in the stock market - ultimately TC wants to cash out and may need the stock market at some point as a source of capital and exit.

Indeed, he is taking a lot of cash out each month, and half goes to tax, come on Cross, sort it out. You have let a lot of investors down.

He needs to do what's best for Parkmead. What ever it takes ! Everyone has an opinion but for whatever Tom has been thwarted unforseen circumstances.
He's still breathing and moving in a positive direction for the share holders be they long or short term !

He needs to tidy up the related party loan. Why are the majority of shareholders subsidising his family. If I were him I wouldn’t be taking an outsized salary either. If he makes a success of PMG he will get multiples back as a 29per cent shareholder by keeping the cash in the business than he will taking it out and paying 45% tax. And he should sell everything to do with wind before the penny drops
