Interesting read from SQZ investor meet call - full focus in North Sea - so that contingent payment is looking good. |
Merry Christmas all |
My suspicion is it will be sold next year for somewhere between 35p and 50p. |
Broker states it's valued in the £0.60s Currentley priced way off....There's land, cash and revenue.oh and a big renewable project round the corner. |
Picked up a few here at 18p.
A little scurry of trades hitting the book. Some 50k blocks are being bought - stick out today. I don't know if that is a bigger stake builder, but watching to see if buying does pick up to allow a push higher. Exit if it goes stale.
It is PMG, but that recent bit of news does appear to suggest it is worth a little punt here with the price trading at a discount to various assets now, as well as not including anything for the adjusted profit figures from the broker of £1.1m.
Maybe the market thinks the cash will be spaffed away so it should trade at big discount, but the price did spike to 24p on the news. It would be nice to sell into a spike, but you can't expect much in this market.
Is this allowed to break higher?
All imo DYOR |
So where is it going to |
Skerryvore was always going to provide oil It's in between two producing fields Cross stated it was never going to be an exploration drill but a well test |
Skerryvore will be developed Talbot first oil recently and it can be tied in to that new infrastructure Or there are other options So add 30p to the sp |
The Dutch gas assets will be next to be sold off. We could do with another cold snap to hike the valuation. The rump business could attract interest from financial investors or could even see Cross making a buy-out offer. I can see this leaving my portfolio at 40-45p in the next 12 months. |
From the other board
Oiltdr Posts: 85 Price: 19.00 Bought parkmeadToday 13:26 I’ve bought parkmead in size this morning - it trades below Q1 projected cash, values the contingent cash at zero and values the existing productions assets and corresponding 4p per share of annual earnings at zero.
The market will do a value discovery exercise and this deal will unlock the ability to complete earnings enhancing deals. |
Love you to Scot |
Wee bull You are a clown |
But it's not until some more are bought ! |
Should be over 40p |
Star Energy (STAR) another similar depressed gem!!! |
Well done all... take a look at VAST Resources for an epic gamble for a potential2024 multi bag ;) |
No new speedboat, eh? Mrs M will not be pleased. |
25 years of PMG to get to this ! |
I thought a dividend couldn't be paid when there's a retained deficit on the balance sheet.
y/e 30 June 2024 the retained deficit was over £87m.
I see no mention of the use of the cash, other than it means, "the Group is well-funded to pursue the next phase of its growth plans in natural gas, renewable energies and international E&P." |
Nice cash for Tom. Don't expect any growth though. PMG is just his money cow. Even their Head Office Building in Aberdeen is held under a separate Company .... charging rent to PMG. I do not hold here ... but my advice would be , get out today. |
P/E 3.21 if the current financials mean anything. AGM statement and the director’s report should be interesting. Agreement to develop joint wind venture next up? Could there be a small dividend to come…that would bring a re-rating! |
Market cap £16m Incoming cash from non revenue producing assets £14m Retaining the valuable revenue generating renewables and Dutch gas assets. Seems a rerate on the cards. |
