Due to share consolidation and poor performance to date, PAA must be, perhaps someone can correct, the worst performing, 'surviving', company ever to exist on AIM/LSE without changing ownership (I have even excluded the 220/1 consolidation when it was world sports group).

Consolidations as PAA:
1-24 - 30th Dec 2013
1-220 - 1st Sept 2010

Or to put it another way. owning 10,000 shares today (cost £2k) is the 2003 equivalent of owning 52.8 million shares...

..1 share has been consolidated 1:5,280 or 0.02% of what it used to be

I believe it all means that I'd be able buy the entire issued share capital of the company as was in 2003 or earlier for less than £1000 in todays shares equivalent. I'm not todays seller, but I can understand them(!)

Daytraders - With my recent purchases I think my break even is now circa 80p, however, my paper loss is larger than yours. I have a few other slow burners which are well in profit (my unloved gem is 'WOR'), this is definitely the worst investment I retain. I'd hazard a guess Oryx had some explaining to do to investors as did David to Oryx.

Sanlam released a brokers note in 2013 with a 8p (224p equiv) price target for 2015, cough... what chance do we have when those closest to the company and its plans get it wrong to such a dramatic scale?

LOL

If you read back I've been out of these for probably more than 2 years. For me, the writing was on the wall quite some time back. That fact you were deramping before hardly qualifies you for a medal.

As I say, very easy to call shares down. Not so easy to call good shares hence why I suspect we never hear about any of your long successes.

Were can I find this latest news since there has not been a RNS since 30/9/14?
Since you are not invested here - I wouldn't worry - leave that to current shareholders!

I must say I have a right good chuckle when stuff collapses and "former" holders come out saying "I don't hold any more", "I traded it for great profits and got out just in the nick of time". 99.999% bull IMO.

I've called this spot on for a very long time. If, as looks likely now, no tour event it looks like bust or yet another placing. And yet still people average down. Maybe they'll get lucky but after this dog has fallen relentlessly for 15 YEARS they'll need some extraordinary wonder-dust good fortune IMO!

This stock just keeps falling and falling. If I recall there were quite a few longer term investors on this thread. Not surprising that lots of money lost here when the management have done sweet FA to get a grip on this business.

21traders - I appreciate the sentiment. I haven't averaged down (aside from two weeks ago) for some time as I have also felt very negative about the lack of news, I still do.

It's not 100% blind faith, in part my purchase is backed by the confidence in knowing Chris Mills (Harwood Oryx) et al injected £1.5m (including some personal from Chris Mills) about 14 months ago and they have board representation in Timothy Sturm (i.e. an inside track). I'd be surprised to see them let that fall so quickly without giving the company another chance perhaps at re-invention.

I half suspect news on some music related deal, DC to convert and Oryx to put in more cash.... however, its speculation based on historic precidence, not any known fact. The plug could be pulled tomorrow, and I will learn and move on.

Bloody hell Duss stop averaging down in this. Have you seen the glut of suspensions lately in AIM stocks you are taking one hell of a risk here.

I really hope they issue some good news for you.

The 3666 buy was mine. On the basis that the absence of any news on the golf, has been known for months and the date has been promoted as UK masters for months, the news in itself is insufficient to bring the demise of the company as this would have been RNS'd some months ago - hence my cautious optimism a couple of weeks ago. Perhaps the tournaments are running locally with in region PGA support or even not at all - remember this was a 'break even' result last year so arguably not missed.

The purchase I made is less an investment in PAA the golf entity, but more a 'fresh' speculative buy on PAA the concert promoter. Market cap of £0.5m is normally a buy point for me for speculative growth / reverse acquisitions.

Ridiculously risky, so I am not advocating PAA to anyone... and yes, I am prepared for the possibility of a negative outcome but is only part of the SIPP and I have a long way to go before I can access.

BB I repeat - you only post here yet do not hold! As for your prediction - maybe, but the last placing was at a premium... it obviously depends on whether funds are needed and whether new events ie. Japan are agreed.
I repeat - anyone can go though a posters history - if they are sad enough to do so - and pick up on comments. I bet those who thought Tesco was cheap at £4 a year ago look foolish now... or those who reckon QPP was a buy at £6 this time last year.
Shares go up and down - end of. Some go bust. Yes I have a few failures - that's the risk of investment in AIM but a few winners too. Helphire.. Fitbug.. I rather like to know YOUR investment successes and failures... then it would be a level playing field.. I repeat - I cannot understand why you detest ramping but not deramping - just because you have been right on PAA doesn't mean deramping is fair or works on other shares! PEOPLE HAVE AGENDAS... ramping to push a share up to sell out or deramping to buy in lower (you?) or to profit with their short. Now I will stop posting here until the next RNS - which MUST be due this month....

Stalking? Come on KN - this is a public BB that you choose to post on. Its whole purpose is to allow people to discuss shares and that's exactly what I'm doing.

As for TW - I don't much care for his style but he is a journalist, so I guess feels a need to sensationalise somewhat. However his writing is backed up with cold hard facts that he has spent hours researching. And his bear calls have been spectacularly successful overall. If you put that much leg work work into your purchases you wouldn't end up with a portfolio of utter dross (IMVHO) like this - that has been falling for 15 years!!!!

What if I repeat my latest prediction of 5p placing or bust - will you LOLOLOL me again or try to think about the possibility that I'm right - as I have been with almost every comment on here?

BTW should it be a criminal offence to deramp? What about the TW guy? You are obsessed with ramping comments but avoid mentioning the shorters/derampers - why is this? Why just focus on me?? Is it a criminal offence to stalk online? To troll though a posters historic comments ON ANOTHER WEBSITE... certainly should be...

Grow up and focus on your own investments.. if you have any...
BTW can you see the future? PAA could be 10p - delisted - or back at 100p by next March - who knows! My comments at the time were based on the fact there had just been a 156p placing - no one - not even you - expected such a drop post placing... I await news with interest - why you care not having a financial position is beyond me!
