ga123, quick question if you do not mind me asking - did you invest elsewhere? (because I do not see you posting on other threads) gl

littlemadam.....but at least the chairman seems to be enjoying a good life!
buywell...what do u mean taken private, would anyone really be interested in taking on this company?
If I look at the price in a year or 2 and its around the £15-20 mark I might regret selling, however,i think its more likely itll be the 30-40 mark,if its still here at all.

littlemadam, I sent an email to investor relations several days ago as we are still waiting for news on the AGM date! Perhaps if others can also email them - they might pull their finger out lol gl

I agree.
News has totally dried up.
What is happening with the progress, if any, of all the announcements of a few months ago.
I also seem to recall the hailing of a wonderful new piece of IT kit, headed by (was his name Akers) some whiz kid. What of that?

K-pop concerts?

I could go on.... Sod all news of anything.

The article gives the impression he is a traveller first and PAA Chairman comes low on the priority list.

Are you not going to inject your walls to prevent rising damp ? seems daft if you don't

I did .... rented out the gear and bought the injection liquid took about 3 days

From what I can see

It looks like PAA is stuck going down the GOLF drive to me

Apologies for going off-topic, but as fellow shareholders I trust you will forgive.

orvil, it is mainly aimed at you as I know you have done building renovations.
I am renovating an 1887 stone cottage. One up one down.
The ground floor has tiles/small flagstones laid on earth, as was the method back then.
The renovation method over the past 40 or so years has been to dig out, lay membrane and put concrete. Studies now show this is the worst thing you can do as the damp just goes up the walls.
This concreting method has been done next door, with awful damp walls resulting.

We plan to put breathable tiles/flagstones on sharp sand.

Anyone have any knowledge or ideas.

Not been fun seeing other shares go up recently while stuck in here waiting for news - but I know that if I decided to sell or reduce - out would come a RNS lol

Any way I expect a RNS within the next two weeks. Why? Well at the very least there would be details on the AGM and any interesting resolutions...
The other possibility is that the company did state in the trading update that discussions MIGHT result in new events "IN THE NEAR FUTURE" so I am hoping this means within 1-2 months.
Still at least the selling has stopped - so fingers crossed this is the share price low - although of course this depends on the company pulling its fingers out and winning a few more contracts and sorting out The Championship(s) sponsorships. GLA

The KEY question is for me

Do sponsers now want to spend money on GOLF in ASIA ?

There have been problems .... what are they ?

Is it PAA , is it the Sponsers or have they decided that GOLF sponsorship is better elsewhere ?

I don't know the answer BUT the strategy of PAA needs a check up using a decent dose of common sense together with some sound market research

My consultancy fees are a reasonable £5k for 2 days research and report

Current share price is equal to 2.5p pre consolidation. Obviously a lot of selling has not held but with about 800k shares in free float it would not take much volume to move this. Sorting out medium term golf sponsorship will be a start!

and to be honest ,"good news" has had zero impact on the share price over the last year or more.thats not having a dig Knigel, but the amount of times there has been "news" and a few days later, the price is even lower than before. I was hoping to get my losses back by having a few winning bets during the world cup.....unfortunately that's been just as much of a disaster!

Personally,no,i wouldn't touch it ,as I said, when the old price was around 20p there was a lot of excitement, posters saying it would go much higher, even predicting 100p,now in new money itd need to reach what to equate to the old 20p? I think people have bought in the past a few times thinking it had reached its bottom level, only for it to continually keep dropping,so,I see no reason whatsoever to buy again, could it go even lower, who knows, anythings possible. But as ive said,I don't wish anyone bad luck,I just decided it was a "dud" and that id rather take a loss than end up with nothing.

Will you reinvest IF there's a series of good news and/or share price starts to recover or that's it?
knigel

Exactly that .... no scatterguns to be used

CASH spent on perhaps only 2 or 3 MUSIC related(people getting signed) scenarios

GOLF in ASIA does not seem to have worked out ... the company needs a NEW MUSIC strategy

orvil - good to hear from you and I hope you are well and I agree with your points. Just an quick question - when I have emailed investor relations, I have always had the "every shareholder will be updated at the some time" response. Have you been able to get any more information by perhaps talking directly to a contact there? thanks

Littlemadam I am here and I am in communication with the company to try and fully understand the situation. I have allowed others to have their say without interference as it would appear my predictions, to our cost, have not materialised. I still hold all of my shares and am suffering more than most. I still feel that the possibility of a dramatic recovery exists, but that the scatter gun approach to deals needs to concentrate on revenue earning scenarios. All is not lost, but it will be a long road to recovery, unless something dramatic happens, which is always a possibility. DC remains confident.

buywell2 - I understand your point, but perhaps adding trading targets alongside are more appropriate. I stated below the numbers in the header that the targets are based on a 14x earning multiple used for sale valuation, as ultimately that's what I'm here for (someone to come along and gobble up PAA). 8x earning multiple valuation would probably be fair if PAA reaches a point of stability so I will add normal trading targets that are half the value of if the company vs if it is aquired

I didn't buy all the way down. Although I have held the shares 3-4 times my first repurchase on reinvesting was 115p and my last 67p. My average is about 100p. Obviously still sitting on an unrealised loss like 99% of all current shareholders. However I will sit and wait as the company isnt going anywhere imo.. Also remember you sold because you had to for personal reasons so might have also still be holding gl
