These are big trades today, all buys that have shown up so far a few sells but very small trades, almost like a big buyer is taking the little sellers out.

6 is a formality to me, I've said it since I started on here in November 12 is near term target, long term ie within 18 months it's 20 for me, this is such a good growing business, profitable and growing fast but steady not running away with itself but not sitting still either and still only small lots to run yet imho dyor

Its happened before in this stock. It is almost as though the MM's don't want the price to move too quickly (up or down) so put in a kind of circuit breaker.

In this case, cenkos will sell 1,000 shares at 5.463p (so 5.50 on the screens). This virtually makes it certain that online dealing screens will not give you a guaranteed quote.

If you want to buy more than that, CFEP will sell upto 100,000 shares at 5.59.

I would suggest that if you really want to buy that you put in a fill or kill trade at about 5.53 or 5.54. Cenkos probably wont take it, but there is a good chance CFEP will. I assume you have tried doing a fill or kill at 5.50.

Curiosity but I've just checked you can sell pretty much as many as you want online but can't but any online, last time I checked this after a quiet period it jumped nearly 40% from 4.2 to near 6, obviously a lack of available stock and been held here to fill orders imho dyor

fft- I need to confirm this but I believe PEL were 'contracted' for their design services at both Dubai Parks and with LAMDA in Greece at a very early stage. I assume this early design was as much for estimating future costs as the design itself.

With a project as large as Paramount in Kent maybe the same could happen.

There are also reports that the Chinese are seriously after some of these future Build contracts, although that clashes with the Governments previous 'promise' to favour UK Companies. Could get very political

How does this work ? Would PEL be subcontracted by the individual attractions within the park - so this could take quite a long time to be decided upon or known, or would they have any direct communication with paramount ?

Plans havnt been approved yet, and the earliest building work could start is 2019, so I can see no reason why PEL would be contacted by anyone til after that date - or am I wrong ?

A new £3.5billion theme park dubbed ‘UK Disneyland’ could feature one of the biggest indoor water parks in Europe – and much more.

The 872-acre Paramount Pictures attraction, which could open on the Swanscombe Peninsula in north Kent as soon as 2022, will include an indoor water park of up to 25,000sqm – unique in scale for the UK.

London Resort Company Holdings (LRCH), the group behind the park, has also teamed up with the BBC and Aardman – the animation studio behind Wallace & Gromit and Shaun the Sheep – to bring some of Britain’s much-loved characters to life.

The theme park, which could be built less than a 90-minute drive away from Cambridge, will contain a number of themed zones, with 50 attractions and rides for families, children and more adventurous thrill-seeking visitors.

Group CEO of the project's parent company Kuwaiti European Holdings, Humphrey Percy, told Kent Live: “We're working with world class theme park design companies to make sure that we have a real attraction.

“I'm talking about companies that have their headquarters in California and support the major film studios and attractions across the world.”

At the heart of the resort there will be a wide range of indoor, covered and open-air entertainment experiences, as well as cafés, bars, restaurants and shops.

Every afternoon, the ‘Paramount and Friends Carnival’ is planned to take place, which will be followed by a spectacular show celebrating the works of Paramount Pictures and other groups involved.

Each evening, theme park-goers will be able to enjoy a West End quality production at one of the resort’s theatres, or indoor and outdoor venues.

Park bosses say these venues could potentially showcase Paramount films and BBC and Aardman productions, and provide a stage for live comedy acts and concerts.

The park will also host several shows and music events each year and there will also be an art-house style cinema and nightclubs.

There will also be a range of hotels, offering 5,000 beds on site for visitors who want to make a holiday of it.

If the development is approved, it could create an estimated 33,000 jobs and resort bosses believe the project will be a 'catalyst for continued improvement and investment in Kent'.

Transport solutions for the resort are also being discussed, including a dedicated high frequency ‘land train’ shuttle service from Ebbsfleet International Station to the main entrance, a new dual carriageway road between the A2 and the resort and a river bus service across the Thames.

If plans are approved when a development consent order (DCO) is submitted to the Government in November, building work could start as soon as 2019.

Mr Percy said he is confident plans will be approved and are affordable, adding: “We have the financial backing to take us all the way through that process.”
