excellance no it didn't raise on listing as as far as I know doesn't intend to.
It listed solely to allow green funds and the like to invest in it through the lse.

Most funds are currently provided by the Angolan sovereign wealth fund which has just provided more money and promising further.

The only issue I can see is the country in which it is working. Probably a bit high risk for me

I'm quite interested in this company but confess to not having looked it in detail.

Obviously a loss making company, I assume it listed in London for further access to capital, so what capital requirement do they have?

OK ladies, you have had your hissey fit, let's get over it ! These BB's are about Companies and not about ego's.

Pensana's story is quite simple ~ they have identified a commodity that is probably going to be in short supply for the next decade or so and have found a World Class deposit of the stuff which they are now moving towards developing.

Rare Earths are not rare, they occur in many common day minerals, what is Rare is to find them in a high enough concentration and amount to make their extraction economically viable. From my own research I believe that Longonjo is an exceptional deposit as it has both massive size and relatively high grade. From an Engineers view point, mining it will be a dream as it has little to no overburden / associated waste, it is soft enough to free dig and the climate is reasonably pleasant.

There are also several added bonus' namely existing infrastructure being adjacent to a recently built freight-capable Railroad connecting to a modern shipping Port, a Hydro-electric power supply in the close vicinity and a highly supportive and progressive Jurisdiction.

If you are at all interested in EV's, Wind Turbines, Brush-less appliances and the transition to a clean energy society ? then I suggest you have a closer look at this upcoming ESG producer. While you are at it check out their Peers ~ non of them can check all of the box's I mention.

'Pensana reckons its low capex, high margin Longonjo neodymium and praseodymium (NdPr) project in Angola is on track to be the first major rare earths mine developed since 2012.

The NdPr market will move into a supply deficit in the next couple of years, analysts say, as demand takes off for things like magnets in EVs, offshore wind turbines, and military applications.'

'Globally, cumulative electric vehicle sales are expected to pass 10 million this year, 30 million by 2025, and 54 million by 2030, according to Argus Media.

Not all of these will use rare earths magnets but still, that’s a lot of looming NdPr demand.'

I like to put my research in one place.

'Overseas, there’s Pensana’s (ASX:PM8) low-capex, high-margin Longonjo NdPr project in Angola and Greenland Minerals’ (ASX:GGG) Kvanefjeld project in southern Greenland. Both are at advanced stages of pre-development.

'Motors

Rare earth elements, such as neodymium, terbium, or dysprosium, are found in a permanent magnet motor. Not all EVs use permanent magnet motors. Induction motors are based on copper coils.

“Some electric car motors use the permanent magnet technology, probably the most famous is the Tesla Model 3 Long Range. All the other Tesla models — Model X and Model 3 standard — use induction motors,” said David Merriman, a senior analyst at metals consultancy Roskill.'

EDIT
If it helps, soul, I lost money on UOG as I did leave quickly, which was right for me at the time.
I expect it will do ok and wish you luck.

hazl I am not stranded in it, I like the company and think it will do well and happy to keep holding but I am honest about it and was being honest to you when you jumped in, ramped it to high heaven, with whoaa look at the chart, and whoaa look at the production and multiple links, and then jumped out after 2mins and trying to make me look as though I was deramping my own share.

Shame on you.

Most people that know me,know that I usually keep my shares years and years.
I could give you lots of examples,PRSM VRE BLU.
Occasionally I do make a mistake,or change my mind and quietly leave for the sake of the other committed shareholders.Sorry,if you were a long term holder that has got stranded in it.
We all have some of those.
I cannot stand a negative bb.

Good luck.

Lol you mean telling the truth as a long termer and not being believed by a newbie wanting another oiler, apparently, that you don't hold 2 minutes. You ought to look back on those posts on Uog and be embarrassed.
All ramp and no credibility hazl. And now this is your latest ramp.
Heads up folks hazl will pump, with multiple posts as seen above, and dump.

I'm topsy turvy at the moment but pleased to seen them and already a softer price than the first day of dealing.
I think they went as high as 28 then?
