01/10/2020 07:47 | I omitted to mention Donald is looking for non-Chinese REE's yet again; makes you wonder about Mountain Pass' ability to provide Reserves ! | chinasyndrome
01/10/2020 07:43 | Half time break is over, Australian Brokers managed to avoid substantial provisional tax implications on their stockpiled shares at the end of Quarter accounting, So it is now back to the Main Game. ASX closed 8% up at $1.07 or 59p Solid Annual Report as expected, very little waste for future construction ! | chinasyndrome
29/9/2020 08:52 | Once the BFS is released the shareprice imho will be well north of 70-80p. | robbiekeane
28/9/2020 13:01 | PS the Angolan govt are not going to be flogging their shares for a quick 5% profit, so I see no reason to think that this placing will affect the share price in itself... Let's see. It would be nice to be closer to 70-80p before any big money needs to be raised. | cyberbub
28/9/2020 12:56 | Good to see the Angolan govt (effectively an insti) investing more at a £100M market cap...Next news should be the BFS shortly. | cyberbub
23/9/2020 08:27 | Panic over, ASX back on the rise today. Mines can not get Covid, Best way for Governments to stimulate the recovery will be to invest in/encourage the Green Revolution ie Rare Earths. | chinasyndrome
22/9/2020 00:10 | If you look at the course of sales Somebody deliberately dumped a small parcel just before the close ! which took us from 60p back down to 56p. Blatant manipulation, probably by a Broker trying to entice more Selling on the ASX today so that they can increase their holdings prior to the BFS. That Gold mine was a Millstone, no point holding on to it Pensana has far sweeter assets much closer to home. | chinasyndrome
21/9/2020 17:13 | Clear the decks RNS this morning, minimal effect but positive in any case. We are down because of the wider market meltdown IMO... | cyberbub
18/9/2020 07:56 | Almost a Yo-Yo day in Oz, Basically followed the LSE pattern all day to close down 3.75% at $1.15 Decent volume at just under 1M shares traded so there should be plenty for offer on London once the Brokers can see a 10% margin. | chinasyndrome
17/9/2020 08:17 | Thanks for your comments China. Tax not an issue as 95% in mine and wife’s ISAs .portfolio was worth about £220k pre brexit and Covid (Now about £135) and then with decent dividends from Lloyd’s and tw. Think I’ll hold for the update as you have suggested . | millwallfan
17/9/2020 08:03 | The LSE has regained its ascendency, but only just ! Huge volume ~ 1.5M traded on the ASX today to close at $1.20 / 67p Congratulations to our Chairman on a professional presented and informative interview on Stockhead yesterday ~ made the other two look like North Korean news readers ! | chinasyndrome
16/9/2020 23:45 | Hi Millwall, For that sort of input it would be best to wait until the BFS comes out next month. Then see an Investment advisor as your circumstances will depend greatly on what Taxation regime applies. That said, This is just the start of the Pensana story, the potential Up-side here is enormous. Considering that there are currently less than 200M shares on issue, that Longonjo is well and truly a Tier one asset and that almost every Analyst is predicting a Global supply shortage for NdPr as the Green revolution gains pace. I personally have disregarded all financial advice and gone All-In. | chinasyndrome
16/9/2020 18:32 | Very interesting interviews in terms of macro uses and likely future demand growth for R.E.M.'s. Looking at the price forecasts as well it looks like the mine might be producing just in time for the projected spike from the low -$40k per metric tonne as it heads towards the mid $70k. Do we have any indication of the aisc for the mine when operational which we could then multiply the estimated annual production by a prudent average of $50k per tonne to give a ballpark gross profit pa to then give a general indication of the potential share price in say 2-3 years time . I accept there may be capital costs and some dilution but would welcome more learned posters views of the potential share price range assuming other things being equal plus a stab at a best case scenario. I am interested from a personal perspective as I will need to liquidate about 25% of my portfolio of some 18 shares over the next 18 months and choosing which and the timing thereof will be critical to my retirement financial health. Thanks in advance for informed views. FYI my major shareholdings are lloy, tw, srb, jlp, gfm plus smaller holdings of agl Nano ggp and pre so quite diverse | millwallfan
16/9/2020 16:17 | An overview of rare earths and presentations from a few companies (incl. PRE). | robbiekeane
16/9/2020 13:40 | Hi chinasyndrome Thanks for your reply on the relative size of the two companies NdPr resources which was in line with my expectations. Are you able to provide any info on the Stockhead report ( organisation preparing it, scope of report etc etc) | rvsy2
16/9/2020 12:10 | Hi rvsy, You ask a very interesting question, "What are MP's Ore Reserves ?", very little left there if you can believe Fortress's IPO which stared Proven 214kt at 7.8% TREO and just 14Mt of Probable at a similar grade !! You then have to realize that that 7.8% TREO is made up of 83% low value La and Ce (phosphors for old TV's and catalysts in the Oil Industry. Their actual NdPr grade would be about 1.2% which is slightly higher but similar to Longonjo The last NI43-101 complaint report I have found was by SRK in 2012, My thoughts are that Trump wanted a mine so the military financed the buy-back of MP without doing any homework. Yes they have a nice hole in the ground and if they now build a processing plant on the site they can use it as a waste dump, for all the RE Concentrates that they will now have to import from Canada and Angola China ? There is no Comparison; Pensana has a Tier one World class deposit, with more across the railway tracks if they ever run out. As I said MP is a hole in the ground. | chinasyndrome
16/9/2020 09:55 | Chinasyndrome In the late 1960s I worked in Bechtel's Mining & Metals Div when they built the Mountain Pass rare earths mine and concentrator for Moly Corp. I wasn't involved in the project but remember that the rare earths metals of interest were those used for the manufacture of colour TV screens rather than for super strength magnets. I have read that the Mountain Pass facility has been bought by a New York based company and is now known as MP Materials and is going to be re furbished and brought back into production for Nd and Pr. I also read that they are working on developing a process to produce the final products to avoid having to send concentrates to China. I believe MP Materials was bought for around US$ 1.4 billion which makes we wonder how their mineral resources compare with Pensana's at Longonjo - Pensana's current market capitalisation is around US$ 160 million. Do you have any comments on the above ? Can you please provide more information on the Stockhead report and when and where will it be available. | rvsy2
16/9/2020 08:02 | Should be the same again today, ASX:PM8 up 13.5% to $1.10 / 64.5p on a Million shares traded. Keep a look out for the Stockhead report on Rare Earth Industry, due out anytime soon. | chinasyndrome
15/9/2020 13:15 | No stopping the share price today... So far anyway. | cyberbub
15/9/2020 12:55 | Ok. Must be ADVFN who haven't retro-adjusted the share price accordingly. I think they have to be alerted to it to do so. | cyberbub
15/9/2020 12:04 | Sorry !! it was a 1 for 10 consolidation | rvsy2
15/9/2020 12:03 | Yes there was a 10 for 1 consolidation | rvsy2
15/9/2020 11:30 | Looking at the ADVFN chart it seems to have been a lot lower than 20 cents until August last year when it made a big jump... Was it a consolidation? | cyberbub
15/9/2020 10:39 | A year ago it was about 20 Aussie cents - so a five bagger in a year ! | rvsy2 |
