As the Corona-Extra-Parliamentary Inquiry Committee, we will investigate why these

restrictive measures were imposed upon us in our country as part of COVID-19, why

people are suffering now and whether there is proportionality of the measures to

this disease caused by the SARS-COV-2 virus. We have serious doubts that these

measures are proportionate. This needs to be examined, and since the parliaments –

neither the opposition parties nor the ruling parties – have not convened a

committee and it is not even planned, it is high time that we took this into our

own hands. We will invite and hear experts here in the Corona speaker group. These

are experts from all areas of life: Medicine, social affairs, law, economics and

many more. (source)

The shocking and the horror!!!!!!!!

“We Have A Lot of Evidence That It’s A Fake Story All Over The World” – German Doctors on COVID-19

Is this article ‘fake news?’ No, because the statement in the title that reads “we have a lot of evidence that it’s a fake story all over the world” is an actual quote from a representative of the group discussed in the article. The statement was said. Whether or not what the quote says is true, on the other hand, is up for you to decide or according to multiple governments, is up for the World Health Organization (WHO) to decide. Is the title misleading or inaccurate? No, again, it’s a direct quote and represents the opinion of multiple health professionals. Are these health professionals implying that COVID-19 is a fake virus? No, they are simply implying that it’s not as dangerous as it’s being made out to be., and I summarize some of that information below that has them coming to that conclusion.

These doctors and scientists are being heavily censored across all social media platforms, and those who write about them are experiencing the same. Many of the claims these doctors make have been ‘debunked’ by mainstream media, federal health regulatory agencies and ‘fact-checkers’ that are patrolling the internet. Any information that does not come from the (WHO) is not considered reliable, truthful or accurate, and that would include the information presented in this article and information shared by these experts in the field. People are being encouraged to visit the WHO’s website for real and accurate information about COVID-19 instead of listening to doctors and scientists who oppose the narrative of these health authorities.

PLA sends stern warning to US warship for transit in Taiwan Straits

The Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Eastern Theater Command said Wednesday it sent naval and air forces to track and monitor the movements of the USS Mustin destroyer as it sailed through the Taiwan Straits on Tuesday and warned the US against making frequent negative moves on the Taiwan question.

Chinese mainland analysts noted that the command made a similar statement last week without directly pointing at the US, but the latest response calling out the US shows that the PLA is warning the US that there will be a day when it will "settle the matter" with the US side.

The US warship was likely closely watched by PLA warships, warplanes and radar, and would be stopped if it crosses the red line, experts also said.

Senior Colonel Zhang Chunhui, the spokesperson of the PLA Eastern Theater Command, made the comment after the US Pacific Fleet said on Tuesday that the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer "conducted a routine Taiwan Straits transit" on Tuesday. It said there have been 10 US warship transits in the Taiwan Straits this year. Media on the island of Taiwan reported on Wednesday that the US warship sailed on the western side of the "middle line" of the Taiwan Straits, which is closer to the Chinese mainland than Taiwan island.

The US has been continuously making negative moves on the Taiwan question, which has sent the wrong signal to "Taiwan independence" forces, and severely threatened the peace and stability across the Taiwan Straits, Zhang said.

"We sternly warn related parties that any statement and act that sabotages the one-China principle and stirs up trouble in the Taiwan Straits does not fit the fundamental interests of China and the US, and damages the well-being of compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, as it brings a real threat to peace and stability in the region, which is very dangerous," Zhang said.

Rare footage shows US patrol of South China Sea

For the first time in two years, the US Navy is providing CNN with rare footage

and interviews aboard a reconnaissance plane flying over the contested South China

Sea. The pandemic has not stopped the rising tensions between the US and Chinese

Navies, as well as warships of neighboring countries that claim parts of region.

Photos: PLA Warships Engage in Live-Fire Drills in South China Sea as US Carrier Launches Aircraft

US and Chinese warships both conducted drills in the South China Sea over the weekend, with a corvette from the Hong Kong garrison engaging in live-fire target practice while a US aircraft carrier carried out flight operations.

On Sunday, the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) corvette Huizhou practiced shooting at a variety of targets in the South China Sea, and the Hong Kong garrison’s Sina Weibo account posted a video of the drills.

A Type 056 Jiangdao-class corvette, the 295-foot, 1,500-ton warship is dwarfed even by destroyers and commonly used for escort duties and coastal defense.

Hybrid Intervention: Russia sent unmarked military columns to Belarus

Numerous witnesses have spotted large columns of unmarked trucks with Putin’s so-called “little green men” en route from Moscow and St. Petersburg to Belarus.

The columns included large unmarked “Kamaz” and “Ural” type trucks and buses identical to the Russian National Guard and riot police transport vehicles. A witness counted 30 trucks in the St. Petersburg convoy, suggesting 600 personnel in unmarked uniforms and a little more in the Moscov convoy.

“Day 9 of the Belarus Revolution and the Putin regime is gearing up efforts to intervene in its neighboring country, revolting against its dictator,” said journalist, Julian Röpcke, on its Twitter account.

Physical gold and silver demand remains strong as investors sell paper - dealers

Kitco News) - While the paper gold market recently saw significant selling pressure, the physical market continues to see unprecedented demand in a tight marketplace, according to accredited physical dealers.

“Professional bullion dealers we've talked with the past week say one of their biggest problems is keeping up with gold and silver inventory to meet the demand for filling orders from retail customers. Some customers have sold a relatively small number of gold coins to take profits, but there have not been any reports of massive panic selling when prices recently fell," said Richard Weaver, president of the Professional Numismatists Guild, in a press release Tuesday.

Not only has the physical precious metals market seen a lack of panic selling, but Weaver said that dealers are also seeing a generational shift in their customer base.

“For the first time in a long time, we are seeing buyers in their 20’s and 30’s entering the market for physical gold and silver,” Weaver said.

Looking at the latest sales data, so far this month, the U.S. Mint has sold 91,500 ounce in various denominations of American Eagle Gold bullion coins. So far this year, the U.S. mint has sold 586,000 ounces of gold.

Dire warning UK faces recession until 2023 and will fall behind US and Europe

EXCLUSIVE Holger Schmieding, chief London economist of Berenberg bank believes

Britain will trail behind the US and Europe as we struggle to recover from the

lockdown financial crisis

Boris Johnson is being urged to get a grip on both the pandemic and Brexit as a top economist warned that Britain faces hard times until 2023.

The prediction rips apart the Prime Minister’s claim of a swift V-shaped recovery and turns it into a slow L-shaped one.

It means Chancellor Rishi Sunak could have to find £19.2billion a year to pay the universal credit of a predicted four million jobless.

Holger Schmieding, chief London economist of Berenberg bank, says the UK will be a year behind the US and Europe in getting the economy up and running.

And he blamed the PM’s delay in introducing lockdown and Brexit chaos for the economic grind the UK faces.

Gold heading back to 2075 high after clearing EMA resistance

Gold’s rebound from 1862.55 resumed today and takes out 4 hour 55 EMA (now at

1964.66). There is no change in the view that it’s still staying in consolidation

pattern from 2075.18 is extending, and would take a while more to complete.

Though, current development suggest that it’s slightly more likely a sideway

pattern rather than a deep correction.

Further rally is now in favor to retest 2075.18 high. We’re not expecting a break

there for the near term. On the downside, though, break of 1929.30 will turn bias

back the downside for 1862.55 low instead.

Buffett’s gold pick whips up a storm among pundits

Berkshire Hathaway boss's move kicked up buzz among gold bugs and other Wall Street watchers across the internet

Warren Buffett has long been critical of gold as an investment, saying it “has no utility” and that the “magical metal” is no match for “American mettle”. He once wrote that “Anyone watching from Mars would be scratching their head” over how we treat the shiny stuff on this planet.

Yet the Berkshire Hathaway boss just acquired nearly 21 million shares of Barrick Gold, worth $563m, while selling shares of Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase, according to 13-F filings released on 14 August.

The move kicked up buzz among gold bugs and other Wall Street watchers across the internet, who saw Buffett’s trades as perhaps signalling a shift in his views on the market.

The popular Zero Hedge blog took a deep dive into Buffett’s repositioning, saying that it’s “a signal that none other than the Oracle Of Omaha appears to now be quietly betting against the United States”, because “the famously anti-gold investor has abandoned banks — the backbone of America’s credit-driven economy — in favour of a gold miner”.

Turkish missile-carrying fast attack craft seen close to Greek island

A Turkish Navy Yıldız-class fast attack craft equipped with what appeared to be

Harpoon missiles was sighted several kilometers away from the Greek island of

Kastellorizo. This class warship was designed by Lürssen Werft of Germany and has

a full load displacement of 433 long tons (440 t).

The sighting of the Turkish fast missile patrol craft, reportedly P349 Karayel,

comes as Turkey’s Oruc Reis seismic research vessel continued its journey nearby

within the country’s continental shelf claim escorted by a military outfit.

Local media also reported that in response to Turkey’s actions, Greek ships have

appeared off the coast of Kastellorizo directly opposite Kas.

China infuriated after the U.S. formalizes sale of new F-16s to Taiwan

Beijing has reacted with anger to the news that the United States has formalized the sale of the latest model F-16 jets to Taiwan.

A U.S. Department of Defense announcement on Thursday said Pentagon’s No.1 weapons supplier Lockheed Martin Corp has been awarded a $62 billion, 10-year contract for the production of F-16s for Foreign Military Sale (FMS), and the initial delivery order is for 90 aircraft.

The DoD did not reveal the buyers of the fighter jets, but media outlets including Bloomberg and AFP reported on Friday that the deal includes Taiwan’s approved purchase of 66 F-16V fighters.

The AIM stocks still paying – and growing – dividends
by Andrew Hore from interactive investor | 14th August 2020 15:00

Miners

Gold miner Pan African Resources (LSE:PAF) is not a new dividend payer, but it had not paid one since 2017. The 2018-19 dividend was 0.1518 cents (0.11725p) a share for 2019.

The stated strategy is to pay 40% of net cash generated by operating activities after adjustments for contractual debt repayments and one-off items. Capital expenditure is reducing and that gives the opportunity to pay a much more significant dividend.

Edison Investment Research believes that there could be enough spare cash to pay 1.52 cents a share for the year to June 2020. At 23.9p a share, the yield is 5%. A further increase to 1.75 cents a share is expected. Net debt should still fall rapidly.

Erdogan warns of ‘high price’ if Turkish ships are attacked, after French planes buzz Ankara’s flotilla

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened reprisals if anyone attacks the ship surveying disputed waters in the Mediterranean for oil and gas, after two French jets flew nearby during an exercise with the Greek fleet.

“We said that if you attack our Oruc Reis you will pay a high price, and they got their first answer today,” Erdogan said on Thursday in a speech in Ankara, without offering any details as to what might have happened.

The vessel, named after a 16th-century Ottoman pirate, started survey work earlier this week near the island of Kastellorizo, which belongs to Greece but is located near the southern coast of Turkey’s Antalya province.

Erdogan threatened Greece with a bloody campaign like those in Iraq, Syria, and Libya

ANKARA, (BM) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made new provocative statements today and threatened Greece that Athens “will pay a heavy price if Greeks attack Oruc Reis”, learned BulgarianMilitary.com, citing Greek news agency Pentapostagma.

Speaking about the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean, he stressed: “We told them to dare to attack Oruts Reyes, otherwise you will pay a heavy price. Today, they got the first answer”, but did not specify exactly what he means.

In his second speech today, Turkey’s President continued to hurl threats against Greece, said a new, tough, bloody campaign will be pursued, cited Turkish military entanglement in Iraq, Syria & Libya as Turkish response, and claimed his gov’t is under economic attack.

In recent days, there has been a crescendo of statements, extremely provocative by Turkish officials.
