09/6/2017 21:30 | Some great information in this article out today. | coincall
31/5/2017 18:51 | I think srpactive has highlighted in his link what may be the reason for the volume today. We know that PAF have had strong commitments to the BEE issues so may be better placed than other miners. May be the volume is in recognition of this. News out one hour ago... "The partnership between government and business remains key in the drive to re-ignite growth in this difficult climate. I would thus like to reiterate our commitment to the work done together with business on improving investor confidence in the country. Our economy must remain competitive, not to merely prevent ratings downgrades but for the good of the country. We also wish to reiterate that we remain committed to the expenditure ceiling in the 2017 budget and to stabilize debt levels. We also continue efforts of making our country attractive for investments." and "We await Parliament to conclude processing the Minerals and Petroleum Resources Development Amendment Bill and bring it back to the President. I sent it back to Parliament due to some issues that I believed would not pass the Constitutional muster. The Mining Charter will be gazetted in a few weeks’ time. Through the Charter, Government seeks to radically transform the ownership of the South African mining assets by ensuring that black people meaningfully and effectively participate in the mining and minerals industries, while ensuring that the mining industry remains globally competitive. The Mining Charter includes requirements on beneficiation and procurement. There is also a community development element to ensure that mine communities and major labour-sending communities optimally benefit from mining activities taking place in their areas. The Mining Charter proposals will also further empower mineworkers with requisite skills and enhanced job opportunities." | coincall

31/5/2017 13:28 | Large volume today, and spiky share price movements, moving in the right direction currently :) | haywards26
29/5/2017 11:31 | The Daily Telegraph: A shake-up to the mining code in South Africa could have a far-reaching impact on miners listed in the UK, amid fears the government there will try to impose onerous new requirements around company ownership. | srpactive
20/5/2017 08:17 | Some nice traction going on here Friday.Looking good and breaking out of the 15p handle. | garycook

16/5/2017 13:27 | Anything below 15p is a steal. | pixi
12/5/2017 10:36 | I hope Mr Cook is not giving investment advice. | johnrxx99

11/5/2017 10:51 | Gary, I'm a fan of silver so my largest holding is in HOC. I also hold HUM which is constructing a gold mine and the first pour will take place at the end of this year. Good luck | pixi

09/5/2017 17:06 | Shocking the amount our Gary loses on shares. Mum is not well pleased. GARYCOOK12 Jan '17 - 10:26 - 9633 of 9943 0 0 Just topped up at 15.67.If PAF holds above 15.50 today, then the 20,s are only a short time away.AIMO DYOR | the ship will go down
09/5/2017 08:23 | A 5.7% yield is optimistic. They changed their dividend policy to pay out 40% of OCF. PBT for 2017 will be c.ZAR500m so assuming similar OCF this will be a dividend payout of c.ZAR200m. After the placing there will be c.1,800 shares in issue. So payout will be ZAR0.17 per share = 0.63p/share = 4.2% yield. Not a bad yield but not as high as it has been in the past. | dangersimpson2
08/5/2017 20:30 | The yields increasing on a daily basis. | coxsmn
06/5/2017 07:06 | I believe the yield is currently around 5.77%.A takeover would be fine by me. | garycook
05/5/2017 12:10 | Gary, PAF has got a good, solid yield and it could become a takeover target. It's impossible to know the future so I intend to buy in tranches, on weakness. Good volume today at close. | pixi
05/5/2017 11:44 | pixi,Good for you.Nice purchase. | garycook |
