I sympathise with longer term holders but so far at least, OXS sp-wise
looks to be one of my better investments over the past 12 months (theoretical so far as I am still holding).

Also unless my personal optimism about the eventual outcome is misplaced (so dyor) it looks to be an even better investment very soon. To me that is not too hard.

Hard investing would have been buying say OEX shares last week and being aghast at what has happened there this week...

Lucky - it varies each day but for a very rough circa in pounds it is 2/3rds of each figure ie $1.50:£1

Logically dave44 you should be right. But if so why is the OXS share price still so low.
I aim not to sell until the outcome and indeed have been adding but if we are right it seems too easy.

Taking on board comments of Wilfy (warrants and options)adds 11m to 704m = 715m.

Claim range excluding Khandiza restitution is $552.4m to $1250.5m!

Payout at 715 million shares:

$552.4m = $0.77
$643.5m = $0.90
$715m = $1
$786.5m = $1.10
$858m = $1.20
$929.5m = $1.30
$1001m = $1.40
$1072.5m = $1.50
$1144m = $1.60
$1215.5m = $1.70
$1250.5m = $1.75

Have to take Calunius take off this and add any interest payment awarded.
Also should receive basic legal costs currently $6.15m.

One or two posters have suggested that the extended duration of the OXS case can't be seen in any way whatsoever as meaning the decision is likely to go the way of OXS.

Whilst recognising that we can't say a favourable decison is 'in the bag' I do think we can look at the duration from an optimistic stance in terms of an OXS win.

Anyone can read the Yukos 600 pages and see how much time and page space was devoted to quantum.

Likewise, Ms Sterne has taken a lot of time in another case to write up a dissenting piece in another case primarily on the topic on how she perceives quantum should be caluclated. It's important to note she didn't dispute the decision or quantum outcome - just how it was derived and the precedents established on dates and methodology.

Hope Oxs have capped their fees with Calunius, because my first dalliance with a no win no fee has cost me near enough 40% of my claim in fees.They say they explain but after 2 years you forget and then they add court fees e.t.c Robbing b$tards thats all i can say.
40% of $550MIL is a big chunk and i hope that Richard has capped the amount to $60mil(10 times 6mil costs to date) with success fee included?

Trust temun... Jumanji,More like do you trust the bod with your cash? That 'very near future' statement days before the placing really sums up what they are capable of. And if they had no bother doing that who knows what they got up to in Uzbekistan.This isn't the sure thing that so many here would have you believe. The Uzbek's may just have a case worth fighting, why else would they not have settled, is that what Arbitration is about?Downward pressure now on the share price and with another placing imminent 3p is now the next support.Question is will that hold?

The conversion of CLN's @ 8p was announced at 10.50 on the 16/10/15 and resulted in the addition of 129m shares giving 704m shares in issue.

Why, thehitman1, did you change your "50p soon, trust me" to "£1.65 soon" immediately following that OXS RNS of 16/10/15?

I'm interested in your reasoning behind that increase from 50p soon to £1.65 soon. TRUST ME!! LOL.

Finally, I bought more Oxus (OXS) yesterday – this time at 3.96p. The bet is that we really are about to receive the arbitral award of gorillions. If shareholders do receive this the share price will truly rocket – perhaps way past 10p. Of course the Uzbeks will try to wriggle out of paying. But even so the price will surely hold up.
