01/3/2016 21:17 | Ditto...lost a fortune on caza... Have virtually given up hope of getting anything back here | fo77y
01/3/2016 14:19 | CASA - don't like the sound of that, just lost loads on CAZA - lol. | 2pablo
01/3/2016 13:47 | Casa also owns only 71% of the licence so that's 12% of 71%. Interesting that Anthony Balme has been a long term shareholder in CASA. Probably looking to average down! | greenrichard
01/3/2016 11:25 | Market hasn't been influenced by current deal, but it surely is a small deal : "investing US$62,500 for a 12% interest in Casa Mining" - some people can pay more than that for lunch (with a good wine !). At least OTC hasn't thrown in the towel, so one day there may be some value for LTH's. | 2pablo
01/3/2016 11:08 | Any chance of you ever linking these items, rather than just mentioning them? Not difficult to link it when you've just read it - saves everyone time going searching for it! :) "Ortac Resources' investment exposes it to near term gold production" www.proactiveinvesto Ortac Resources (LON:OTC, 0.03p) - Speculative Buy Ortac Resources, the diversified mineral exploration and mine development company, announced yesterday that it has participated in a private placing with Casa Mining Limited, a private company that holds prospective ground in the DRC. Ortac is investing US$62,500 for a 12% interest in Casa Mining which holds the rights to three mining licences within the Misisi corridor located in the South Kivu province of the DRC. Since 2009, over US$30m has been spent identifying the 60km long gold corridor with multiple prospects having been drill and trench tested returning significant gold intercepts. An initial near surface inferred resource of 1.2Moz grading 1.7g/t Au has been defined on the Akyanga deposit and remains open long strike and down dip. A scoping study was done on Akyanga confirming the viability if a 100koz pa heap leach gold operation with total operating costs of under US$650/oz. Casa Mining is focused on commercial production at Akyanga with an initial gravity plant for a modest capital outlay. Our view: We are encouraged with Ortac's deal with Casa Mining securing exposure to a potential near term gold producer. We also note the potential for larger scale gold production within Casa Mining's the highly prospective Misisi corridor located c 150km south of Banro's 1.6Moz Twangiza gold mine. As such, we maintain a Speculative Buy rating on the stock. Beaufort Securities acts as corporate broker to Ortac Resources plc | fangorn2
01/3/2016 09:54 | Proactive Investor has article regarding Ortac and Casa deal..talks of near term producing....markets seem to completely ignore news. | jonsun
29/2/2016 13:19 | So no one thinks much of the latest acquisition...Neithe Just another ploy to keep the shareholders happy, and make it look as if the management is doing something, thus justifying their salary's. | grannyboy
19/2/2016 12:38 | Any chance of linking it? Beaufort Securities passed comment as well... As this has been reported on by proactive. The one you meant right? Ortac Resources (LON:OTC, 0.03p) - Speculative Buy Ortac Resources, the diversified mineral exploration and mine development company, announced on 17 February 2016 an update on its exploration partner Andiamo Exploration, in which it holds a 25% equity interest. Andiamo holds a 253km2 exploration licence (Haykota) in Eritrea and has completed a 2,000m second round drill programme. Drilling focused on the Hoba prospect in the northern part of the Haykota licence and confirmed the presence of a volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposit. The best intercepts returned average grades between 0.8 and 1.1% Cu over 8.5 to 21.9m intersections. Andiamo also announced a maiden JORC resource (Indicated and Inferred) of 0.9Mt with an weighted average grade of 2.79g/t Au and 5.3Mt grading 0.41% Cu (weighted average) for its Yacob Dewar deposit in the southern part of the Haykota licence. Our view: We are encouraged with Adiamo latest drill results and its maiden JORC resource within the Haykota licence. Whilst more much more exploration work is required, confirmation of a VMS type system is very encouraging and warrants additional work. Likewise, a maiden JORC resource provides a solid foundation on which to develop and expand further resources. Given its 25% equity stake in Andiamo, Ortac could benefit from continued exploration success on the Haykota licence. As such, we maintain a Speculative Buy rating on the stock. 06/2/2016 16:34 | marmar90. The Ivory Tower dwellers are merely beginning to face their own potential spiraling towards poverty, and maybe with coming Bank collapses, asset collapse,Pension theft, they will be so busy trying to save their declining wealth that they wont have time to spare opposing the production of the only real money around - and employer. The risk/reward for considering OTC is that when the worst sentiment towards Gold stocks ever, improves a percentage, then OTC has more than just one shot at Gold. Nobody needs to consider risking more than the Garden shed on it,yet if the logic that Gold will be mined here -pays off.... !!? | richgit
05/2/2016 12:44 | Not whilst they hold out hopes of EU finance for doing nothing. They have a natural resource worth something - they should develop it rather than expect someone else to give them money for nothing. | fangorn2
05/2/2016 12:20 | Is there any chance for Kremnica to be approved? | marmar80
04/2/2016 09:34 | As 98% of the investing World doesn`t know what is coming, due to the Frauds and Manipulations of "Paper No Gold" creating the worst sentiment and price suppression "IN HISTORY"-I would argue that ANY Country that can produce some of the only "real money" that will exist would be commiting financial suicide by not doing so. Those in their Ivory Towers that oppose Gold production will be destroyed by their own ignorance of what is coming,if they do not flee to Gold before their mirage assets are stripped and destroyed. Whether that be Bank Bailins,Bank Busts, negative interest, the crazy Cash Ban many are thinking of,eventual high inflation,or just the total destruction of their currency taking place all around. Not real Money-just assetless currency Confetti. OTC will either be one of the biggest flops of all time,or one of the biggest multipliers when that 98% becomes a mere 93% By the time that becomes 80% the Gold frenzy will be firmly upon us. The Gold is gone from any Central Banks that leased (sold) their Gold and that deceipt cannot be repeated. Many will try and hide the fraud that their Gold was "sold" and never coming back so they falsely account for an asset that does NOT exist. In time to come all will ask- "How did they ever manipulate Gold and Gold sentiment to such levels. The worst in History !!! Amen + IMHO | richgit

27/1/2016 11:14 | If we can't destroy Kremnica - I mean build Sturecland - can't see this share getting anywhere fast. I suppose our other investments may add up to more than a hill of beans but all the time and money into Slovakia - depressing. | 2pablo

05/1/2016 18:20 | 63m offload - probably placing shares. Reminds me a bit of kibo this. Kept getting sold off in anticipation of a further placing and then whoosh. Recent interview states that it is fully funded for 6 months and there should be near term news on a couple of fronts. | wooster4
05/1/2016 18:17 | Oops down 22% is that right ! | peterz |
