Newmont's market cap is currently US$43 billion and the new Agnico Eagle at US$24 billion. The advantage now is that should one or the other drop out of the exploration deal with OMI the other is easily large enough to carry on alone.

So maybe, roughly, 16.6 and under are sells and 16.7 and over are buys. Would explain the steady mid price I guess.

Small cap shares are strange. Buy price showing as 17.5p, actual buy price just under 16.75 (just under), nearly 5 percent difference.Anyhow have decided to pick up a few. share price with this one can easily spike quickly on news or gold price increases.Currently though in the doldrums!!

Yep. In the last few days the logged prices of trades make it dubious that the red/ blue flags are correct. Not sure what to read in to this unusual pattern.

Last 2000 shows as a sell but was a buy
