12/2/2018 13:26 | Careful what we wish for ! Everything is in Gold`s favour albeit the Cartel will no doubt try a further takedown of their- No Gold paper gold -during the coming Chinese Holiday. Ironically the BIS has Gold`s back as whilst all the issuers of confetti don`t want Gold to tell the truth, the BIS has to ensure (via their Bullion Bank Gangsters)that their "Comex worthless paper Gold" is not sold down to certain levels. For how long can they use their latest tool of ever increasing EFPS passing from Comex to London as just another kick the can until it wedges up against a solid concrete wall. I will be very happy to witness a modest circa $1450 which no doubt will arise this year, for the time Gold becomes remotely properly priced it will be signalling that the World beyond our front doors is going to start looking rather ugly. So careful what we wish for,yet probably an inevitability. Deflation/Inflation it matters not as Gold will love both in our unpayable debts World and the total Confetti they ask us to accept their IOUs in | richgit

05/2/2018 13:23 | Look out for KinesisMoney connected to Andrew Maguire-to launch this year. I am placing my final -large sum- into Physical Vaulted Silver after April 5th so will be looking at Kinesis with regards to what it offers for Silver. This may add to my Bullionvault Holdings + Royal Mint(Gold). Regardles- Kinesis CryptoGold could be really huge and thus have a great impact on the Comex Frauds and London`s part in all the scams with these massive EFPS being transferred over from the Comex Fraudsters. The Chartists haven`t a clue what is happening in the Physical Markets and could wrong step many that follow them. | richgit
05/2/2018 09:23 | Sorry to post off topic. I remember some fellow holders of OMI were also co holders of Ortac OTC who have changed to Arc Minerals ARCM. Since the name change there have been no posts on what used to be an active board? | overdale123
31/1/2018 08:41 | Overdale. That shows the current total lack of interest which is arguably a huge mistake considering the unvalued burgeoning 2Million ounces of Gold. The lack of interest is all around ,bar some Gold stocks that are obviously of such size in Market Cap to be on the Margined CFD menus. | richgit
31/1/2018 07:34 | Just a shout out to fellow OMI holders who also hold OTC. Noticed nobody is posting on ARCM ( the new name for OTC ) ? | overdale123
26/1/2018 16:33 | OTC now ARCM | overdale123
24/1/2018 22:13 | I think he'll get his money back and a lot more besides. Gold is on a tear and it is likely to go a lot higher. | davidspringbank
24/1/2018 16:41 | He did admit here that he had lost hundreds of thousands. | taperkick
24/1/2018 16:06 | I am sure he bought loads at multiples of that. He has held for longer than I have been looking and that was several years ago - share price around 30p | augustusgloop
24/1/2018 15:12 | Gloop I think SC bought around 6p. | davidspringbank

22/1/2018 19:17 | I know I should probably know but does anyone here know what has happened to OTC?I seem to remember a few of us invest in both OMI and OTC | overdale123
21/1/2018 16:27 | They can do this anywhere on the Planet as we are all their enemies if We do not comply. Think we are safe from Soros etc,? The Millions that have died so far for their agendas, tell us nobody is safe | richgit
20/1/2018 14:16 | davidspringbank 18 Jan '18 - 11:47 - 16211 of 16213 SC has at least doubled his money ------------- LOL If you buy 1,000,000 shares in a company for 100p each Then the share price falls to 1p then rises back to 2p ----- you have not doubled your money! You have lost 98% of your investment. | augustusgloop
18/1/2018 21:01 | Yep, Uruguay minerals. Opened a canadian account and bought them before they came onto AIM. I had bought a condo in a Canadian ski resort and rented it out for a good few years. When i sold it i got caught up in the UM chat and what EK was saying. I stupidly put all my profit money after paying off the mortgage into this share. So 15 yrs on and still holding. I just don't see any point in selling. | johnpaul1
18/1/2018 13:02 | johnpaul1 I assume you invested when (was it Uruguay Gold)at possibly around £2.50 I can only remind that Brancote sold its Gold many years ago at beyond £200Million so fingers crossed for you that the Ex Waymar assets can do a Brancote. There is no Guarantee of course as it is all down to the Drills and what they find, yet there is certainly the probability that with Many Majors running down their own resources ,that the Brancote scenario will rear its head many times and at far greater levels of worth over the next few years. If Gold can eventually do what it should be doing ,then few have any idea of how such massive undervalues and dire sentiment can change. I have been around in the days when mere start ups with little more than 2 shovels and a Gold target have been valued at £25Million. At a mere circa £11Million total Market value, then even if the Waymar assets disappoint but OMI are still around with their Gold that can meet a circa $1500 Gold price - then there is a lot to play for in a balanced risk portfolio of several like OMI that the Market currently offers near zero belief in. I will leave out talk of Gold beyond $5000,but then Bitcoiners believe in $300,000 Bitcoins which will all be the useless glory of hindsight,or maybe incredible Foresight for some. IMHO | richgit
18/1/2018 11:47 | SC has at least doubled his money here and gold has come off an intermediate low at $1240 and risen £100 to $1340 in a couple of weeks. OK it's likely to retrace a little to maybe $1280 and then we are off to the races. | davidspringbank
17/1/2018 23:52 | SC has been involved here from as far back as Uruguay Minerals days - I agree he is a very capable investor, but, by his own admission, he got this one badly wrong. The only saving grace for OMI is that I expect gold to do very well (not in the very short term since it is overheated) but in the medium to long term gold is set to run. That will even enable woeful outfits like OMI to benefit. | yasx
17/1/2018 20:23 | I was here a while ago, when the share price was around 6p, and Evil Knievil bought a lot of shares in OMI and a seat on the board. I have got a lot of time for Simon, he is a very astute investor and a very funny man. I enjoy his writings and his vast experience. So why would he invest big-time in such a hopeless case, according to Gloop? I got the impression that Gloop is a shorter with his own agenda. I'm maybe wrong, but ADVFN boards seem to host some people who have had a bad experience in the past through buying shares at the wrong time (buying high and selling low) and they come on to try to put others off and make them sell too. So I am sceptical, but after all, I am an old fart who has been around for a long time.I am still solvent, which is no mean achievement! OMI is moving into new territory expanding it's holdings and that is where it's future lays. Fingers crossed for good discoveries. Good luck all. | davidspringbank
17/1/2018 11:13 | Fangorn2 Augustusgloop is Elban along with many other user names. He has his agendas that may work for Him and possibly His team. So do we all in this Treacherous game. Being right for the next 10 years all depends on the Gold price, which is obvious to a Gnat with a Brain Cell, and the reasons the Cartel have allowed every rule created to be broken are glaringly obvious as arguably the $Dollar has already lost 90+% of its value. We all know that in circa 1998 it took around $250 to buy an ounce of Gold and Today it costs $1300 which should probably be circa $5000,so how long can the Cartel use Paper Gold to keep the price below a still ludicrous price of $1500 ? Hindsight will be glorious (maybe) and Yes few producers have the comfort of Gold that can be mined at around $1100 aic. The Silver situation is even more ludicrous as the Majestic Silver boss points out that $1 movement above their All in costs adds $60Million to the bottom line for them,as Silver is manipulated even more viciously than Gold. The Glorius hindsight with buying Silver, will be when the World discovers what JP Morgan will do with their 650 million ounces squirreled away in the Comex Frauds they control since taking over Bear Sterns. Maybe Dracula sees Silver at far beyond $120 I hope so,and it is all within their Comex Fraud Control (until it isn`t )and if Dracula decides $120 is too cheap and does not sell their pile to the Market then ....who knows what may happen. Meanwhile I wonder if Amazon ,that hides its losses in more and more debt, eventually becomes a form of Enron,to be valued 90% less if the $Trillions of Confetti cannot keep the Markets up for infinity. | richgit
16/1/2018 21:15 | Da gloop has called this one right for the last decade. Many old timers simply waiting to get out flat.. Gonna be a while.. | fangorn2 |
