Am not a goldie, but they are rather too forward as it is the story of only 1 hole. Second one has not shown anything to write home about yet. Once we get 10 or more similar good drill holes to 54 with some consistancy it will start to look like a goer.

If they have old data from the 17,000m from pre acquisition drilling they should disclose it.

I appreciate share price is under pressure but I can't see this doing much to solve that.

Nice intercept though. Let's hope they can drill more like MAP-54.

Early days for the drill results, but very promising. I don't remember copper being found in any of the previous drilling. Nice to see the down trend turn. This can move fast in the right direction now.

RNS : high-grade gold intercepts found in initial drilling in Colombia:

What do you goldies think?

"Ignacio Salazar, CEO of Orosur, said:

“These initial results are extremely encouraging, supporting the presence of high gold mineralization over significant intervals and increasing confidence in the mineral body beyond the 17,000m of previous drilling prior to the acquisition of the project by OMI.

“These results are merely the beginning of Orosur’s first drilling campaign at APTA. APTA mineralization remains open at depth and along strike.”

And did they have the Silver then as they Certainly do not have the Gold or Silver
Today ??

"On June 4, 1963, President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order 11110, authorizing the US Treasury to issue paper currency that could be redeemed for silver held by the treasury.

As a result, this US currency was printed in denominations of $2 and $5 and inscribed with the words “United States Note” instead of “Federal Reserve Note.”

Kennedy’s order was intended to wean the Federal Reserve System away from printing money, beginning a smooth transition toward returning the printing press to the hands of the American government.

He was correcting a clear violation of the US Constitution and an absurd situation in which the US government could not print its own money. It was a quiet and inconspicuous coup d’état. For the bankers who had founded the Federal Reserve, their greatest fear was about to come true. Now with one stroke of the pen, their plans to establish complete control over the US government and American society were faced with a clear and present danger. Because the fact was that the issuance of these small banknotes was to be followed by the complete suspension of the Fed’s right to print money. So what was that agency to do then? Regulate the financial market, monitoring it so as to forestall any crises? Fine, regulating and monitoring is all well and good. Just stop printing money ...

The Federal Reserve’s monopoly on the issuance of its own dollar, which is for some reason considered to be the “US dollar,” hinges on a single act of legislation that was signed by President Woodrow Wilson in December of 1913. Consequently, a single, different act of legislation would be enough to destroy this monopoly. But John F. Kennedy failed to realize his agenda.
Executive Order 11110 was not revoked but was never actually implemented. For the owners of the Fed, however, the threat remained that the order could be revived by a new US president, potentially JFK’s brother Robert, who in his position as US Attorney General fully grasped the implications of what was happening. And the equally enigmatic murder of Robert Kennedy, who was a leading candidate headed into the Democratic primary for the 1968 presidential election, occurred exactly five years after the signing of the very executive order that killed his brother.

It looks like the very influential bankers from the Federal Reserve sent a clear signal: the clan whose representatives tried to betray the System will no longer be allowed to play a significant role in US politics. And they haven’t."

We hold paid for vaulted Gold & Silver

The Gangsters want all the Fund Managers & Joe Bloggs to buy into Margined Paper Gold.

Most so called Fund Managers do that because they are obsessed with "leverage"
and flock to ETF`s.like GLD

Does (for example )the Gangster Bank controlled GLD truly have the Physical Gold to support it (will we ever know ? and who trusts HSBC ?)

The Gangsters can only attempt to control Paper Gold with their 500-1 ? leverage.

Yesterday eye-watering volumes as they had to smash Paper Gold to stop it rising to the Heavens,so endless panic Printed shorts.

Question now is - Can they close out those shorts,as the Gofer squirrels are now making life very difficult for them ?

Everything being can kicked to the Big Gold month December.

Will the Fed destruct either way in December ------- caught in a trap !!!!

OMI are presenting at the Colombia Gold and Copper Symposium early next week - let's hope they get some investment interest from the extremely rich people who made money (perfectly legally I'm sure) when Colombia was rather less politically stable than it is now.....

"Orosur Mining (CN:OMI) will be up on stage presenting its Anza project in Antioquia where it has recently restarted drilling,"

Another straw in the wind ....

Jeff Bezos just pullled a billion dollars out of the stock market after making a killing. This is what Joseph Kennedy did reight before the 1929 stock market collapse. Is history repeating iitself?

(Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos And Warren Buffett Have More Money Than The Poorest 50% Of The U.S. Population Combined.) In our society today, there are so few that are doing well. At this point a majority of all Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, and “one in five households have zero or negative net worth”…

Bgt a few more this morning. With the AGM / Columbia Gold Consortium meeting coming up , and the first drill results the trend should turn up soon. Any any rate OMI should provide an awful lot of news over the next 12 months, with a 30,000m drill program in Uruguay and 15,000m in Columbia. Amazing for a micro cap - all fully funded by cash not debt.

JP Morgan Squirrel has a problem..............

In Kindergartern terms

JP Morgan squirrel put together a scheme whereby he convinced His band of Gofer squirrels that what they should do is protect the nut tree for themselves and then when JP Morgan squirrel decided the time was right ,he would order the Gofer squirrels to climb the tree, shake the branches and cause most of the nuts to fall.

He would then shout up to them to stop when all the loose nuts had fallen

Whilst the Gofers were busily doing that.JP Morgan squirrel and his lieutenants
would sneakily hoover up most of the nuts into their secret store.

This went on for months and months until the Gofers finally discovered why there never seemed to be as many nuts as they would have expected.

They devised their own plan.....

The Gofers climbed the nut tree as usual and starting shaking the branches, yet this time seemingly the nuts refused to fall,so they shouted down to JP Morgan squirrel saying We need you and your Lieutenants up in the highest branches to reinforce the shaking or the nuts wont fall.

JP Morgan reluctantly agreed, and to His shock when He and His lietuenants climbed back down after the nut shaking, they discovered the Gofers had beaten them to it -and stolen all the nuts.

A dilemma and why at the moment the main players have a problem with their Paper Gold shorts

If the Gofers keep stealing the easy loose nuts from now on then what is next !!!?

BigT

Whilst you don`t read my posts, and only seem to be joined at the Hip with Augustus/Elban
your remarks are akin to saying Supermarkets are only a leveraged play on whether people can afford to eat/consume,which is obvious to a gnat

Indeed Orosur is a leverage to the only real money around ie "physical Gold",
whether in production or discovery or both -and not
the fools Gold that so many of the so called Fund Managers buy into,as that is currently JP Morgan`s fools Gold, until even JP Morgan leaves other fools to feel
the pain of their subterfuge as the most Criminal Bank on the Planet will let anyone burn when it suits their agenda, especially their 650Million ounces of off Market Silver plundering.

Notwithstanding the horrendously ugly truth within the job reports etc: the Gangsters managed to dump or dump out 30,000 Paper contracts within minutes of the "Bad report" in an attempt to make it appear so "awesomely fake wonderful" that "paper Gold is dumped"

Sovereign buyers (as always)will buy more of every bargain.

"Rotten things happened a long long time ago" ...indeed they did, and you nevertheless said nothing but good things about them all the way through. Your tune has still not changed, and you continue to post almost daily... so as I've suggested before, you may well be a paid shill. People should take note

So NOTHING has changed

This stock is just a leveraged play on PoG. It is not a good capital investment, nor a income investment - and never will be.

What's changed?

They now sell less of your gold per year - but you still get nothing from the proceeds whilst everyone else gets paid.

If you were a multi-millionaire, would you buy a gold mine that NEVER gave you a return on the money that you invested? Not a penny in 15 years!

Would you be happy that everyone else got paid whilst you got nothing?

How is this different?

A billion £ of your gold sold - and you alone get nothing for it.

Sucker!

I think that very few people write a post on these BB's attempting to say how "the situation really is". Rivaldo visits here occasionally and he is a long-term value
investor. One or two others are here as well. Rotten things happened a long long time ago, but Orosur has moved on into 2017.

Absolutely Monstrous action in both Paper Gold & Silver Yesterday whilst
Shanghai prices remain far above London & New York !!!!

The Gangsters are now desperately trying to form a rear guard action.

We all know that whenever (one day)these manipulations of possibly 500-1 (no Gold Paper!!)becomes too dangerous, that Gold will do what they dread and perform like Bitcoin.

Orosur is either one of the lowest valued -virtually no debt- Gold producers around or
the lowest valued Gold hunter around..........or both !!!!!! (IMHO)

PS

Elban/Augustus,

getting your teeth into something like Amazon when reality comes to the fore
may pay better as that Parasitic Discounter with no margin just may meets its match
in the Market up against the likes of Walmart etc.

Timing is for the patient with the new Enrons around,on that score.

rhuvaal,

I didn't lose a lot of money here - figured it as a charity very early on.

Since then, they have sold about 250,000 ounces of gold for about £250,000,000 - of which, not a single penny has been returned to shareholders, £10m was raised in a placing - and the value of the assets held has fallen.

Out of this £250m of revenue:

The Directors have done very well
The workers have done very well
The contactors have done very well
The Tax collectors have done very well
The local community has done very well
The advisors have done very well.

Everybody's pockets have been stuffed - but shareholders only saw a depletion of their asset.

In what way is this not a charity?
