The book is turning positive, you could buy large tranches of stock well below offer last week but now that opportunity has gone.

One suspects the overhang has cleared, the shares have retraced nearly 50% from the intra day high of .57p reached on 22nd January.

From a technical view it's turned bullish.

Well if you can buy shares in this you're not called luckyabbeygale for nothing. The opposite to me who should have had the username as unluckyadi. For the record I do have trust in the BOD and never called out anyone for the Lanstead deal like many others on these forums, my issue is they will continue to sell whatever the price and however it effects it to an extent, because that's their business model.

I am pleased with the deal with Lanstead since we have risen from 0.080p to 0.30p thanks to the progress and knowing that Oriole will never have another placing ever again.
It has also allowed me to buy out Lanstead every day so far.

Over on the LSE they saying Oriole is going to be as good as Greatland Gold.

The problem is the advfn has been marking some of my buys like the one at 15:19:59 for 2m at 0.3091p as a sell.

Also I know that the next lot of positive news will most likely put us at over 50 percent gain on that day.

But when there isn't decent volume the share price drops.

Lanstead sells some shares each month to fund the payment owed to Oriole. Lanstead makes more profit if the share price is higher so it doesn't make sense for them to suppress the share price. If there is decent volume the small amount Lanstead sells each month won't have any impact on the share price. Trading volumes should increase shortly once BCM starts its exploration campaign

Seems pretty strong support at current levels, the shares have consolidated nicely and are poised to move back up IMO, more news has been telegraphed.

Interesting that the Muratdere website looks like it is being updated, they are awaiting a EIA decision, if attained it means ORR could sell their royalty, which could deliver £2m+

Current price looks a good entry point IMO.

Guaranteed Lanstead will be selling every day, it's what they do. A year or so, maybe less and they'll be clear.

Looks like the scumbags Lanstead have been dumping over the last few weeks to supress the SP, the higher it goes the more they have to pay ORR you see, they also have form in declaring TR1's late

It looks like the floor is in however, the RSI which is used by traders has gone from seriously overbought 87 in late January to just below neutral 43, in fact the RSI is at it's lowest since early November.

I bet whatever you like the market makers will move this back up in a flash if a few meaningful buys come in.

The shares hit .57p recently.

Yesterday a buy trade at 11:43:30 for 4,928,226 shares at 0.32p went unnoticed.

I also had to pay more for all my buys than I did the day before.

Progress at last.

This week, the #ORR team attended PROMOTE 2024, a multi-sector trade fair organised in Cameroon, which this year focused on the theme of 'integration and economic development'. Oriole is proud to represent #UK companies operating in #Cameroon.

Oriole enjoyed discussions with key figures in this important transnational relationship, including Elias Pungong, the UK Honorary Consul for Cameroon and Chairman of the UK-Cameroon Chamber of Commerce, and Barry Lowen, the British High Commissioner to Cameroon.

Exploration Manager, Abdoul Mbodji, also participated in a panel discussion in which he focused on sustainable practices in #mining and the role of mining in the green economy.

Looking at what gold in the ground can be valued at it would suggest their 155 000 Jorc compliant inferred resource is worth about 9mill $.That's using industry averages of about 63$ an ounce.Thats on the old gold price of 1800$ ounce.
Add the extraction potential,I believe they are waiting on 3 year license extension.
Are Managem going to want someone sitting literally in their front garden spoiling the view?
Who else might be interested in their licence?Could ORR get someone else involved to help develop the licence into a producing mine? They have suggested in the past that parts of the licence could be a stand alone mine that only covers a small part of the licence.
I know its Rose tinted specs time but surely they will want us out of the picture.
Surely it's got to be worth 10 mill,at least.
Could be an interesting couple of weeks.

From British Bulls

Signal Update
Our system’s recommendation today is to BUY. The BULLISH ENGULFING pattern finally received a confirmation because the prices crossed above the confirmation level which was at 0.3600, and our valid average buying price stands now at 0.3650. The previous SELL signal was issued on 01/02/2024, 13 days ago, when the stock price was 0.3710. Since then ORR.L has fallen by -1.62%.
Market Outlook
Let’s jump on our white horses and go for a bullish ride. Today’s candlestick has a white body and its close is above the confirmation level. The bullish pattern that was previously identified is finally confirmed and a BUY signal is generated. The trend is also bullish and perhaps it is the right time to participate in bullish fervor. The market is telling you about a new profit. Do not miss this bullish opportunity.
Pattern Description
This pattern is characterized by a large white body engulfing a preceding smaller black body, which appears during a downtrend. The white body does not necessarily engulf the shadows of the black body but totally engulfs the body itself. This is an important bottom reversal signal.

Plenty of time is available on the flight home from South Africa to draft a RNS for delivery early next week concerning Senala JV, their partner was at the show.

They do keep a tight ship and their relative silence is telling, one wonders if they are about to report a stake sale for a significant sum of cash ??

The share price drop has been on thin volume and can quickly be reversed.

Oriole has had a successful week at #MiningIndaba in Cape Town, meeting with investors, existing and potential JV partners, suppliers, and key figures in the African #mining sector.

Due to having most of my inheritance in this. 50 percent is like another share with my usual holding size going up by 500 percent. In the long term you are right, and if that happened in the short term I be like I have just won the lottery.
