28/4/2017 09:46 | Just did a little test buy and it's showing as a sell.. | 1bokke
28/4/2017 09:44 | It seems to me that this situation with the 'free' shares is similar to any other company that decides to distribute a special dividend. i.e Company X says that they will distribute a cash divi equal to say 10% of the value of the company on a certain date. Shareholders will then receive the cash bonus, but in most cases the company's share price will drop by a similar amount (10% in this case) immediately following. It has to be a zero sum game. At present OPTI own the SBTX shares. Once they've distributed them, OPTI's valuation is that much less. Similarly with splitting off the other divisions. The overall effect will be to hollow out the valuation of OPTI itself. imo. | someuwin
28/4/2017 09:25 | I just wish I had more funds...What was good about the HLH order, is it was closed within 2/3 months following the Berlin conference. SOH states they are already talking to 25+ potential partners for their LP-LDL strain and I can only envisage that number increasing following the official launch early May. Even if deals were struck with only 20% of these partners, we would be laughing. Per seems very switched-on and career driven so I have every confidence in his deal-closing abilities. And let's not forget that Sacco will be promoting the strain to their existing customers too. | parob
28/4/2017 09:13 | My top up of 4083 shares put through on ISDX just now. This has to be a good buying opportunity with the expected newsflow in a couple of weeks. | rafboy
28/4/2017 09:03 | Expected more buying this morning after soh's comment about not back tracking Opti holders for free sbtx shares | judijudi
28/4/2017 09:03 | Hi elrico, for what it's worth, ADVFN L2 all today - so far - showing as (red) sells. Cheers - Mike | spike_1
28/4/2017 08:57 | all it shows is date/time, volume and price, not whether they're buys or sells | daftbat
28/4/2017 08:42 | elrico, they're on isdx/nex | daftbat
28/4/2017 08:32 | 3 trades this morning now, 12766, 11408 and 4287. The 11408 is showing as a sell. The 12766 and 4287 not showing at all, but I bet they are reported as sells as well. | elrico
28/4/2017 08:21 | Some dodgy MM reporting again. £9k & £3k buy orders first thing are not showing. | elrico
28/4/2017 07:58 | You may well be right, jh. 60.00p is the 100% retracement and the measured target for the earlier flag. But the channel holds for now, he said, optimistically... M Log scale daily candlestick chart: | marnewton
27/4/2017 22:26 | Parob, as a LTI myself I was a little annoyed that someone could just rock up and get the benefit the next trading day and get the same reward as someone holding for months or years. However, given the complexity of the mechanism so as not to have tax implications for those receiving shares (just as an example) it may just be that there are good reasons why doing it retrospectively doesn't work or is impractical. I think SOH would have done so if possible. Also, he said he would re-distribute the benefit of a float to shareholders, and although it's a complex way of doing it (an AIM company has not done this before), he is resolute that because he said he was doing to do it, he bloody well has to do it. I think this shows that he's a man of his word. Once you break one promise, your credibility goes down, and I think that's his main concern - keeping promises. | lodger
27/4/2017 22:17 | imho the best we can hope for is a double bottom at 68p as support.A break through that area and 60p would certainly be on the cards. However solid news that the market actually views as positive may change the picture. | john henry
27/4/2017 22:14 | Crazy really to think that newcomers could benefit (i.e not just LTI's who've held for a while). Think I might have to dispose of some other under-performing stocks to buy more. | parob
27/4/2017 22:05 | Parob - people who own OPTI shares on the date of the announcement of *how* the SBTX 'divident' is going to be distributed will be eligible. This announcement is in the next few weeks. Therefore, you can still buy OPTI shares tomorrow and get the SBTX benefit. | lodger
27/4/2017 21:59 | Skin value should increase over time so should the value of the 'freebies'. | parob
27/4/2017 21:09 | At the presso I got the impression that if you hold OPTI shares on the date of the skin share distribution announcement (expected soon) you will be awarded Skin shares in the future and I'm pretty sure SOH said that skin value would most likely (obviously not confirmed) be given back on a 'staged basis', for eg first 25% on a certain date, then the next 25% further down the line etc etc (whether you have to hold opti shares for that time to qualify I'm not sure). Did anyone else at the presso (spike, trotters, lodger, deeppockets) get this impression? | parob
27/4/2017 20:34 | Just logged on and read all comments..... Another informative day. Thank you all for in depth clarification on recent articles, always deeply appreciated your time and sharing information. Unfortunately did expect drop in share price but at least any one following THIS thread has a great in depth knowledge on OPTI now, so those who where perhaps under the influence of TW have decided this share may not be for them at this moment in time so they've had to exit, which is understandable. We might drift lower, who knows, but news in May by all accounts... But I think I might be safe to say, only the LTH who did their in depth research are left on board and are happy with the time scale because it was what we expected and, as far as we're concerned, everything is roughly according to plan time wise. So much is out of the hands of SOH ...he's just doing his best to advise but no commitment to dates etc is understandable ...in case someone says...oh...you've not delivered etc etc etc... Anyhow, no need to say it...but might as well Yes, no one wants their investment in the red ( yes, I am on my trader account but not my ISA account at 40P ) but very confident in long term investment and future prospects of OPTI so I can sleep at night without fretting over this. Happy with OPTI and SOH. good luck all Signing off now. P.s. Sorry to hear it sounds like the ShareProphets comments section might of got a bit heated... Not a subscriber myself. No one needs the hassle these days..hope it all settles down soon. | joyjoy13
27/4/2017 19:42 | er ... elrico - what I actually said was: Announcement hopefully ‘within 1 to 4 weeks’. Best wishes - Mike | spike_1
27/4/2017 18:44 | Spike - thanks for expanding on what has already been said. I'm particularly pleased to learn we in 1-4 weeks away from SBTX decision. This will clear up a lot angst and more importantly, offer a greater insight to future spin-outs. edit | elrico
27/4/2017 18:44 | I think they had about 1000 online customers not to long ago (amazons, eBay etc), the 1300 most likely relates to that.Great piece from soh earlier. Thanks primal. Very important piece at the bottom from soh:'I am disappointed for shareholders who sold shares on the basis of misreading or misinterpreting information as these shareholders will now lose out when we return the value in our SkinBiotherapeutics division to OptiBiotix shareholders. We are in detailed discussion with our advisors on the best way of achieving this and if all works out well hope to announce something in the near future'.Think I'll be topping up in the 60s to get more of these dirt cheap skin shares people are strangely chucking away. | riskybusiness1
27/4/2017 17:40 | Great info spike, thanx. elrico, gofigure in 86 stores? where did you get 1300 store listings for gofigure? that is one hell of an error. you said yourself it wasnt a typo. | incanus |
