24/4/2017 12:31 | I wonder if the recent drop from 90p has something to do with results. We'll find out soon enough but I am half dreading tomorrow. | branboyd1
24/4/2017 10:40 | Interesting comments marnewton and thanks for the charts, these are always appreciated. AMER is an interesting stock, however SDX for me is significantly stronger based on the increased cashflow generation of the business and the uplifts in cash generation being achieved in 2017 and 18. This is before the gas discovery last week, and potentially oil from the same drill with an RNS expected next week? AMER is on my watchlist but I don't see them taking off just yet based on their expected news flow, in contrast I view the rise of SDX as imminent. | griffin81

24/4/2017 10:17 | Disappointed to see us slipping back a little. I hope that there isn't going to be a suprise in the results unless it is a good one! | rafboy
24/4/2017 08:27 | O/T Hi elrico, AMER is probably the share I've had the longest association with and was originally in my purely fundamental portfolio - now defunct! There have been many false starts (seller/local issues/oil price/poor communication!) but I'm back in around 24.00p...I look forward to seeing your contributions over there;¬) M | marnewton

23/4/2017 20:15 | Thanks Marnewton. I do like the fib retracement percentages, these are what I tend to use to time my entry...though I suspect my method is far more simple. I am on the verge of pulling the trigger on AMER once the seller has finished. There is clear progress there. | elrico
23/4/2017 20:06 | I like this channel. It looks right, with the upper and mid lines falling into place. As hoped, we stayed above the body of Thursday's doji - more bullish than bearish, but volumes remained low, a concern. Support continues in the form of the flat-lining 200 day SMA (red), the 61.8% Fib retracement, and, looking further back, the breakout level from the February/March double bottom. (I've just suggested on the AMER board that AMER too may back-test the same sort of formation.) There's a fair amount of resistance to overcome and progress may well be slow for now, especially with such low volumes, but the indicators have started to turn up, which is something. My main concern is the possibility that the last large move down came out of a bear flag, that has a target of 60.00p! It's a finely balanced picture, with breaks above 80.75p or below 68.00p required to firm things up. Good news and a return of buyers would help...obviously! 23/4/2017 16:10 | Raf - from the LIMITED reading I have on Unavoo stevia sweetener, it is purified several times to eliminate the bitter taste associated with stevia based sweeteners. Safety: Older animal studies show that high doses of stevia may be toxic to the kidneys and reproductive system, and could even mutate genes. That's why the FDA doesn't allow unrefined or whole-leaf stevia in foods, despite the fact that South Americans have consumed the plant for centuries. But newer data on stevioside and rebaudioside A—the purified extracts—does not show evidence of toxicity (though it's worth noting that some of this research was funded by companies like Coca-Cola and Cargill, the maker of Truvia). In 2008, the FDA awarded its first Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) status to these extracts, which have been approved for use and sold in Europe, Canada, France, New Zealand, and Japan, where it's been on the market for decades without any major safety issues. The WHO and UN's Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives have also ruled them to be safe in moderation. Hang on a minute....what was the headline grabber at the beginning of the week? Perhaps Someuwin can remind us in colourful detail full page spread. I'm always skeptical about research funded by companies with a motive to bury the truth. | elrico
23/4/2017 15:35 | Thanks elrico for the info above. Yes, our product will be better and I look forward to seeing it come into production and distribution in due course. | rafboy

23/4/2017 14:53 | The race is on as far as developing healthy sugar alternatives. Unavoo is one such alternative. It will have its place for sure, but it is inferior to Optibiotix platform, which has developed sweet healthy prebiotic fibres called SweetBiotix® which are not digested in the human gut, and hence calorie free. This is an innovative concept which has the potential to address public health concerns over the impact of sugar on obesity, with the prospect of replacing ‘unhealthyR There are other more important reasons for illuminating sugar from your diet to bring benefits of its own. We already knew that sugar is one of the primary causes of diabetes, obesity and most other metabolic diseases, but did you actually know that cancer cells FEED on sugar? Perform a search on the links sugar has with cancer – it's an eye-opener for sure. | elrico
23/4/2017 14:37 | I thought Unavoo used to be part of Reeves and Mortimer's show. | semper vigilans
23/4/2017 14:21 | Slartybartfast - OPTI requested the OPTI info be removed from Nizo site some time ago due to it being out of date. My comments related to sugar being fast-tracked emanate from SOH, so the quote is a direct quote from him and not my wording. I cannot get any more info out of SOH as the company is at a very delicate stage and there are NDA's in place. | elrico
23/4/2017 14:18 | Raf - More details on Unavoo which appears to be a Stevia related products, which has mild health related issues. Sweetbiotix is more functional and has many benefits. It's a topic I am currently working on. Food technology company Unavoo, is launching a new product that will fully eliminate added sugar and artificial sweeteners from food and drinks. Unavoo Sweetener – launched in partnership with investor ED&F Man – is the first sweetener that uses natural ingredients to replicate the flavour and ‘mouth-feel The sweetener uses only natural ingredients and contains no chemicals or alcoholic sugars. It has zero glycaemic value, so it does not raise blood glucose levels after consuming, making it safe for people with diabetes. The innovation was prompted after inventor and ice-cream store owner Yuval Maymon was diagnosed with diabetes nine years ago. He said: “It took me 700 trials and many sleepless nights, but I eventually created a sweetener with zero glycaemic value, no chemicals and no hidden sugars – and that actually tastes like sugar.” Unavoo is working with agricultural commodities merchant ED&F Man to manufacture and distribute the new sweetener. Jonathan Hugh, Head of ED&F Man’s agri-industrial division, said that the new product will help deliver the food industry’s need for sugar replacement. He said: “We are excited to offer our industrial and retail clients the sugar reduction solution that they have been searching for. This is a natural, healthy and tasty sugar reduction solution – and we will be launching final products this year.” hxxp://fdiforum.net/ Stevia info hxxps://wellnessmama | elrico
23/4/2017 13:49 | On page 73 in the Mail on Sunday is an article about a new type of sweetener that will cut sugar intake without affecting the taste. It is called Unavoo and is also prebiotic. Sorry unable to copy but someone else may be able to as it is of interest. | rafboy
23/4/2017 13:27 | Fine bob. I dont want get caught up in the marmite person tw. Even as a new particpant on this site i have noticed there are trolls everywhere and assume these are investors that have lost money in frauds the site has published. My concern as a new investor is the appearance nizo and opti have not progressed as planned or suggested by sp/tw. When i checked the nizo site there is no longer any mention of opti when there used to be. I think it was sienna who said there was nothing in the public realms about opti fast tracking sugar, but elricos report in the header states clearly there is. I dont know elrico so i dont want to accuse him of anything ify especially if as he states it has been fact checked by soh. I also respect the detailed work in all the reports he has posted for us so far. Questions remain and all i am trying to do is find answers. | slartybartfaster
23/4/2017 05:44 | I am retired and I sleep at all sorts of times. A drink or two on a night out ensures a good sleep. Probably most of the next day. But at least I can rest Easy holding opti shares !! | bobdown2
