Thanks for posting the interview, I've just sat down and listened to it.
Awesome.
SOH is keeping folk guessing as to when that date will be ( well, it's got to be timed right so it's not his fault he can't be more specific at this moment in time)
But I loved the fact it was going to be retrospective! ( in the future... )
So if we've been loyal and stay that way, sticking with the man and the company then we'll be rewarded.
You can't ask any more than that, he's done exactly what he's promised to do all along the line and timeframes have been outside his control, but he's delivered as far as I'm concerned.
I must admit it's refreshing to hear his genuine passionate about these breakthrough interventions and wanting to deliver value to the shareholders....not many like him these days it's sad to say!

Hey Diamond, that's a great number of shares you've accumulated! Nice one !

Good luck all long term holders...

Perhaps some folk will sleep better tonight who've been fretting regards freebies...

What is newly confirmed is that it can and sounds like it will be done according to a preset timeframe that opti will record. Puts that one to bed as a few were adamant this was not possible. Also will be done in the most tax efficient way which rules out opti selling shares and paying a cash divi. It also says the record date to gain these shares will be retrospective so we will have no idea until we are actually rewarded the shares. Thankfully done to prevent people from gaining for holding over a short period and buying up to a certain date. Glad to have this confirmed. Those accumulating and holding opti get the best of both.Long term holders should and will be rewarded. He mentioned a timed 'month' and that they will be redistributed in the not so distant future. I will not be surprised if the ipo date due to its significance turns out to be the record date month.....terrible time to sell which I kind of got the sense soh was hinting. Another potential hint was the seasons....'if we were to redistribute value in the autumn we would link that to those held in the spring' maybe a coincidence it is now spring maybe not....not worth the risk especially as opti is the parent co and exploiting all of the opportunities....if your going to put your money on one surely you put it on opti who's behind it all?

Yep re the free shares, nothing that people who went to the show didn't tell you on here, but some might not have believed fellow posters got it right , now they know that fellow posters did get it right, even the bit about going back to a certain time frame. It does not pay to be a fly boy trader type, SOH can deal with that sort.

Apart from cognitive therapy there was nothing new in the interview. I was already of the opinion i was getting free shares, this has been explained several times already. the article posted on sbtx bb made this clear. What is not is the qualifying date.

This is great news and has put my mind at rest to a large extent! Have been accumulating and holding since 30p region with a 5 year view. So its fab to have some confirmation that this approach is being rewarded..... must admit to wobbling a bit last week though!

Cheers Parob. Hope those who have sold are happy with their decision now as SOH has now confirmed to us all we will get shares in SBTX "in the not too distant future". They are looking at who has held in different time periods etc so this excludes traders! People selling do not see the long term vision!

Yep! SOH very clear. Another great interview.And cognitive health mentioned. Wouldn't surprise me to see an acquisition in this application area this year. I have mentioned this a couple of times before.

I'm in Diamond's league, give-or-take, as regards the number of Opti shares in my portfolio (a bit more in fact). However I plead 5th. amendment as regards just where this number (or its value) sits vis-à-vis my overall fund size. Nice one Diamond to hold this number/value within 10% constraint! My secret will never be told lest my judgment would be called to account! Owenmo.
