24/3/2017 18:58 | I have long since talked about YSF exit strategy, an orderly exit over 3-6 years. The consequence of OPTI being illiquid holds us back as and when YSF sell into a rising price. IMHO YSF will be able to exit a little quicker post LP-LDL launch, as this will signal a see change in OPTI development from a R&D to a commercial entity. Perhaps then, Finncap will earn their corn by matching YSF sale to new II investors. We will know soon enough. As SOH stated, the fact YSF were selling at a time when the IPO news was pending, and SACCO, demonstrates the integrity of OPTI's control of news, as in they are not a leaky ship. Of course, the bear argument could well be YSF don't expect the SKIN float to that exciting; Either way, we will know soon enough. I agree with TT - I don't think there will be much of a free float of SKIN shares. It will be far more illiquid than OPTI. That said, there isn't likely to be much stock to flip and hold us back either. | elrico
24/3/2017 18:55 | So now we know what the 1.5M trade at 65p was, at the time it caused quite a bit of debate, just a few of the first postings when the the deal was first recorded, as a reminder of what went on......... xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Neftanikoff6 Mar '17 - 16:36 - 20188 of 21156 0 0 Edit omg, what's that 1.5M SELL AT 65 ! riskybusiness16 Mar '17 - 16:39 - 20189 of 21156 2 0 Looks like someone got themselves a discount. Not surprising if your buying 1.5m shares Neftanikoff6 Mar '17 - 16:42 - 20190 of 21156 0 0 Edit well neither of us can be certain whether it's a buy or a sell, the share price is down on the day, which suggests a sell elrico6 Mar '17 - 16:43 - 20191 of 21156 1 1 I think someone has dumped his TRAKM8 shares and bought OPTI. Let's see if he talks up the book now....off to a flyer I'd wager ;-) elrico6 Mar '17 - 16:45 - 20192 of 21156 1 1 Neft - at 3+ daily volume, if that was a sell it would have wiped c8p off the price. It can only be a discounted buy or some form of cross trade. OneDayRodders6 Mar '17 - 16:48 - 20193 of 21156 0 0 in the same breath as the share price hasn't gone up 5-8p it obviously then cannot be a vanilla buy can only be some sort of x trade riskybusiness16 Mar '17 - 16:51 - 20194 of 21156 0 0 Most likely a pre agreed seller and buyer exchange at a slight discount. Parob6 Mar '17 - 16:56 - 20195 of 21156 2 0 You never know it could be the rest of the sellers stock in one large block. Be great if they're fully out! Neftanikoff6 Mar '17 - 16:57 - 20196 of 21156 0 0 Edit re 20194, in that case should there not be a like amount transaction and if that is the case, you have to question why on earth would someone want to trade his 1.5M, unless it's that ex director who wants completely out, for ? reason We shall probably never know, which is a shame and does not exactly make the share any more alluring. bobdown26 Mar '17 - 17:18 - 20197 of 21156 0 0 parob. I hope you are right and we get an r.n.s statement to that effect. Maybe then the good news from Tata could be reflected in the share price. riskybusiness16 Mar '17 - 17:29 - 20198 of 21156 0 0 I also thought that but if it's a like for like exchange then guess the only bit we'll see is the price, time and amount of the transaction. We have institutions who can't keep their money tied in forever. Also coming to the end of tax year potentially has something to do with it. Wouldn't worry. It's a good sign this has been arranged rather than dripped in to the market joyjoy136 Mar '17 - 17:31 - 20199 of 21156 1 0 At least I'm still loosing weight on the diet, so it's a good day for me. I feel confident Opti will come good long term... Good luck all Parob6 Mar '17 - 17:59 - 20200 of 21156 0 0 I'm wondering if they're David Evans' remaining shares. Once he's out I'm hoping there'll be no-one else to hold us back. I guess we'll find out over the next few days. | neftanikoff
24/3/2017 18:45 | SM,Would make logical sense for them to diversify into Skin..But IMO Skin and OPTI price will be pegged..one will follow the other. Not sure they will reinvest in Skin.Although SKIN will have potential to multi-bag and expect very low float valuation and free float of stock. | talkingtrades
24/3/2017 18:45 | BloodY glad you came back with that comment from soh, elrico. | pglancy
24/3/2017 18:36 | Tt Ysf will divest steadily. It's not a forced sale. Their ethos is sell over a 6 year period. They've made good money and can reuse that for the next Opti. Ironically that's skin!! S | shrewdmole
24/3/2017 18:34 | Just wish we had a large II to take them out... | talkingtrades
24/3/2017 18:33 | Hope YSF don't destroy price from 80s again. They've been holding us back for over a year now... | talkingtrades
24/3/2017 18:32 | i have to agree. i am sure elrico said soh said their is lots of interest, but non with a notifiable interest. elrico was right about the troll. he will be singing about this all weekend. | incanus
24/3/2017 18:30 | Jh The Sacco Rns and then the skin float Rns imho have triggered some institutional buying. I will say I could be wrong so we will see. Re ysf I would be very surprised if they didn't know about the imminent float and will go in as a seed investor. Another 10 bagger for them? Can I just point out guys I use this be as a bit of a sounding board with the thoughts that run through my head. I like this board as there are a lot of credible contributors. However we are all wrong probably 50% of the time. Basically when I post I post quick and often on the hoof as I'm busy doing my day job. It's a good bunch here and I believe Opti will do us all proud in time. Soh has more skin in the game than any of us and that's what is worth remembering. S | shrewdmole
24/3/2017 18:23 | From SOH "We can't control this as its reported directly to AIM but from the TR1 this took place at the beginning of the month before any announcement of SACCO or SkinBiotherapeutics. In that respect it shows how the main institutional shareholder does not have any exclusive information as if it did it is unlikely to have sold. You always get these blocks in March as Investors balance their holdings within the tax year." I don't mind looking a chump. It appears OPTI have no control over the announcement timing. I have just learned something. | elrico
24/3/2017 18:17 | JH - I don't agree with your 90% figure. However, IMO my point is valid, it's poor form, it looks bad when it didn't need to. This is the type of reporting that feeds people like you know who. To emphasise the point I am making, I have had 6 emails asking if this is bad news? | elrico
24/3/2017 18:09 | Elrico holdings RNS are 90% of the time reported after hrs. The issuer was reported on the 10th that's two weeks ago. | john henry
24/3/2017 18:04 | Right so they sold 1.5m on the 6th and the company were notified on the 10th. Funds quite probably going into skin float. Why wouldn't they. Since that sale Opti has risen. All in the price now and nothing to do with today's drop. For me I have 2 stocks at present where you can see the small sells then the delayed large buys cropping up now and again. I stand by what I said there is a sea change here with small pi's being replaced by larger players. S | shrewdmole
24/3/2017 18:02 | wh, I have no idea where your coming from?? | judijudi
24/3/2017 18:02 | Elric Agree 100% Very poor Down Monday I expect | judijudi
24/3/2017 17:55 | Judi Germany has surrended | whl2
24/3/2017 17:53 | YSF their only significant shareholder (apart from O'Hara) selling a further 1,500,000 to PI numpties. Only 13.4% to go LOL. After hours on a Friday tut tut. As if nobody will notice ;) Clearly not very interested in their free SkinBiotix shares? If they're on offer of course? Drip feeding into the market suggests no other b*gg*r is interested. | michaelmouse
24/3/2017 17:52 | Very poor form to report at noone is watching o'clock. It's the time of day AIM casino frauds report when they want to hide something. We all know YSF want to reap the rewards of the IPO and reduce over a typical 6 year period, but reporting the sale after hours should be a no, no in our case, OPTI is better than that. Poorly advised I would say. | elrico
24/3/2017 17:49 | Like we didn't know that - probably putting the money into skin | whl2
24/3/2017 17:44 | Perhaps they read the IC article :) | trotterstrading
24/3/2017 17:42 | YSF selling... | talkingtrades |
