15/2/2017 11:05 | When the cat's away the mice will play. Only one poster so far to-day! Why don't we cats stay away for the rest of the day - giving mischievous playing mice a free rein (or is it a free reign?) | owenmo
15/2/2017 07:29 | Worth reading post 4324 onwards for any genuine posters left on these boards. | michaelmouse
14/2/2017 23:02 | The volumes of 25k to 50k are well within the range of PI buys and are only noticeable because of the small overall transaction volumes. It will be interesting to see how volume changes once there is significant news to chew on. | aspex
14/2/2017 20:42 | The real reason Leah put on 2 stone? She had the wrong kind of stomach bacteria Leah Hardy was mortified when she couldn’t wear 16 Primark frock at Christmas She had gained more than 2 stone a few years ago as she hit the perimenopause After taking a new gut test, she discovered the bizarre reason for her weight gain Staying slim has never been easy for me. In my 20s, I may have been a size 10 (I’m 5 ft 8 in), but after having children I was a curvy 12, and then after hitting the perimenopause a few years ago (I’m now 53), I’ve gained more than 2 st, with my BMI squarely into ‘overweight&rs DirectorsTalk asked OptiBiotix (LON:OPTI) CEO for his thoughts on this article: Stephen OHara, OptiBiotix Health Plc CEO said: ‘This news paper article reports on the role of the microbiome in weight loss. Whilst rather speculative it does reflect the growing scientific understanding on factors such as the microbiome which may be influencing sustainable weight loss. The early evidence suggests that people with a greater microbial diversity may be able to respond more quickly to dieting and are more able to sustain weight loss than those with less microbial diversity. People who have fast food diets tend to have a restricted microbial diversity and this study would suggest that losing and sustaining weight loss may be more difficult in these groups. GoFigure® products containing SlimBiome®, OptiBiotix’s patented formulation of ingredients developed by experts to support weight loss, includes a prebiotic designed to enhance microbial diversity which this research suggests is likely to help people lose weight more quickly and sustain this weight loss. This creates the opportunity for easier and more sustainable weight loss than would be achieved with more traditional diets’. | someuwin
14/2/2017 16:22 | Thanks Sienna, you are probably correct as SOH would have known about the company when TS came on board at OPTI. Good to have your view. | rafboy
14/2/2017 16:17 | Rafboy, I'm guessing SOH doesn't think so as I believe Tim Spector has been involved with that Gut Project for quite sometime (I remember seeing a similar article about it in the Daily Mail a fair old while ago now).CheersSienna | siennadelekat21
14/2/2017 15:22 | Looks like it but we have thought that before, let's hope this time it happens!Another 28k buy this afternoon! | primal123
14/2/2017 14:10 | Is anyone else thinking this feels like the calm before the storm!? | parob
14/2/2017 09:38 | 25k buy from earlier, good to see. | rafboy
14/2/2017 08:46 | Interesting article, but does it mean a slight conflict of interest for Tim Spector? Quite clearly the gut is becoming more significant in general well being. | rafboy
13/2/2017 23:16 | That 50,000 Over on the LSE board it's listed as a buy, if I'm looking in the right place. Traded earlier in the day but only recorded near close. But, having said that...yes...I've found that before, who knows...but share price definitely dropped that's for sure.. Good luck folks | joyjoy13
13/2/2017 16:14 | And there we see the trade being reported that pushed us down. Fifty thousand sell, may be a high roller trader! | rafboy
13/2/2017 14:44 | Thanks rafboy. | eekorehc
13/2/2017 14:28 | There may be a few who are selling shares bought several weeks ago in the 60s so gaining a small profit. Yes, news is due on several fronts but we don't know exactly when. It is inevitable that some will try and trade the share in the meantime. For me it is a hold and add when you can with a little trading around the edges. That said my core holding of over 50k shares is kept intact. | rafboy
13/2/2017 14:10 | Would one of you kind people who has more brains than me (to which there will be many) please enlighten me as to why investors are selling when news is imminent. I am puzzled, or are things not what they seem. Many thanks. | eekorehc
13/2/2017 14:04 | This story is reported also in some mainstream papers: | maxwellsdemon |
