27/7/2020 18:06 | sparton it is correct they dictate launch not opti | manc10
27/7/2020 18:05 | Any sign of an sbtx placing yet ? Just wondering if that 1m sell has anything to do with it ? | kreature
27/7/2020 17:47 | So either opti got the average required, or didnt. Never know. One has to assume they did, or should all be sacked. So in essence, they instructed low average price, or agreed to drop it Unless they say , "we did not give any instruction ". But that would be even more strange A market event could occur and the seller dump it all at 0.5p in a mad moment in an AIM price. | spartan attack
27/7/2020 17:45 | Unless opti found a fund that said "you pay us to sell at whatever price we decide is best average for the block sell" Never heard of it before though Would take a direct instruction to execute and drop average well below. | spartan attack
27/7/2020 17:43 | Sorry Manc but that is not correct You give them execution blocks ... not a no reserve fire sale | spartan attack
27/7/2020 17:32 | as for timed there sales dismally well opti do not decide the bigboys do thats the way it is | manc10
27/7/2020 17:29 | lord he had to get stock imagine if he had none and a large company said ok give me this amount and soh went no your ok we dont have any come on | manc10
27/7/2020 17:27 | the question was asked to soh by elric and he would never say never i remember when he raised for sbtx and now 250k is worth 22 million around 7 million still to opti , if opportunity knocks you open the door | manc10
27/7/2020 17:09 | Its an "only asset" reduction. Got to show value fast, from its raising. Not the best record on that score really. Not so easy back something as assets reduce and earnings worsen. So, a small window for it to show actual numbers posted to bank from sales | spartan attack
27/7/2020 17:03 | I agree to an extent llol, but can you imagine going for a rights during the worst financial crisis we've ever known. The SBTX money was in the bank, no hassle. | dire cons
27/7/2020 16:42 | manc10 - I don't dispute the reasons for Opti's SBTX share sale. But the fact remains without raising the cash that way, they'd have needed a rights issue to fund the necessary supply stock. Either way, they timed their sale abysmally and further diluted the prospects of any future special divi for LTHs. | lord loads of lolly
27/7/2020 16:08 | They failed to find a solid investor? Interesting | spartan attack
27/7/2020 14:23 | Love to know who bought sbtx at 6p from them | spartan attack
27/7/2020 12:15 | aim has a herd mentality of quick gain or quick loss traders you are in flavour or not and opti is not the flavour of the month ,but as a long term holder its easily the best spot the company has ever been in , when i first invested it had zero products just a pipe dream its all down to sales and numbers now for a rerate | manc10
27/7/2020 12:06 | They’ve got to come up with something meaningful in an rns...or it’s goodbye. I think the competition is too great, with people like General Mills swamping the diet market with their products! Etc | rayrac
27/7/2020 11:05 | lord loads of bulls%%t the reason sbtx was sold was for an opportunity eg opti pharma you no those 10times the size of holland and barret some one has to pay for the products to then be shipped | manc10
27/7/2020 10:42 | Opti sold SBTX shares to avoid a rights issue. SIMPLES. Though why they had to sell at around 6p recently, given that SBTX has tripled since is totally beyond me. Surely they've got better visibility of their spin off than that? Also, selling off the family silver is less than ideal for Opti's LTHs who were banking on a divi from the SBTX spin off. Anyone know if SOH has commented on this recently and whether a special divi is still on the cards for Opti holders any time soon? | lord loads of lolly |
