You only have to look at the financials to work out which 'real microbiome co' has any chance of actually making money anytime soon. DDDD are burning tons of cash & probably 5-10 years away from having a product to sell, that is if it works out. Opti have a pharma taking on all the cost & risks of a bio pharmaceutical yet has enormous reward potential if successful, whilst currently commercialising actual products globally in massive growth markets in supplement & food markets.... I like what DDDD are doing but their model is terribly costly & extremely risky compared to a microbiome co like Opti. There will be a massive land grab for microbiome companies in the next 3-5 years or so. This is pretty much guaranteed if you look at the trend gaining traction by an increasing number of majors. Optis separate divisions will be profitable by this point & will be ripe for the taking for players keen for a head start in an evolving space. That's where the real money will be made here & those accumulating here for long term will see that management have been shaping the company in preparation for when this happens.

Chromium has like 4 EFSA health claims. I wouldn't bother communicating with Someuwins buywell account. Just ignore, all the scientists as well as the industry experts & regulatory bodies disagree with his view so he just comes across as an obsessed troll to anyone looking in here.

Buywell... whatever you say about Chromium not being effective makes no difference... IT IS certainly effective within the Slimbiome mixture.I have been taking the Slimbiome medical sachets for approx five weeks now along with a calorie controlled diet (which Slimbiome Medical made much easier to adhere to for me)... In these five weeks I have reduced my weight from a starting point of 17stone and 6 pounds to thus far 15stone 3 pounds.I set myself a target of losing 2 stone in 2 months but have now adjusted that target to 3 - 3 and a half stone by that time with how easy it has been with the help of Slimbiome.Say what you want mate.... but the stuff does what it says on the tin (and does it well) and eventually the wider public will come to realise it... when that happens Opti will be off to the races.Sienna

Adverse effects of chromium picolinate I�ve read about occurred in isolated cases. In one, a woman who took 1,200 to 2,400 mcg daily over four to five months developed kidney failure and impaired liver function.
In another, kidney failure occurred five months after taking 600 mcg of chromium picolinate daily for six weeks.
And, a healthy 24 year old man reportedly developed reversible, acute renal failure after two weeks on a supplement that contained chromium picolinate as the main ingredient.

In general, daily doses of up to 1,000 mcg of chromium are considered safe, but my bottom line is to skip the picolinate form in favor of GTF chromium or chromium chelate.
