I tried the cranberry which admittedly was more raisins than cranberries but I found the experience no different than the muesli I previously had for breakfast taste wise. Perhaps I'm not too fussy. I did feel less hunger though so job done. I empty the contents into a bowl. I did have to chip the bottom of the pot out. A bit irritating but not a put off. Have it with soya milk. Anyway also a fortnight into Cholbiome. I have naturally high cholesterol (not massively high I think but above "normal") but have had to come off statins due to a dodgy liver. That was last April. Went from 3 - 4 to 7 - 8. Will take another reading in a couple of weeks.

"Personally waking up to a cold shake on a miserable January morning is difficult. "What's stopping you from putting the kettle on for a hot chocolate drink - sounds like a perfect winter start to me!I always put hot water into the muesli too - it just makes it a lot nicer to eat.

Courtesy of AJS in the twitter group:Game-changing ingredients to watch out for in 2019hTTps://www.bakingbusiness.com/articles/47808-game-changing-ingredients-to-watch-out-for-in-2019Some interesting 2019 predictions from Baking industry insiders here.A few examples;John Powers, director of marketing, ADM Nutrition: "...Gut health will remain a top priority for consumers, so we predict an increase in probiotics and prebiotics, including fiber. Consumers are also seeking foods and drinks for heart health, cognitive health..."Don Trouba, senior director go-to-market, The Annex by Ardent Mills:"...consumers continue to be more adventurous, and that might mean they are seeking out ingredients they've never tried before, or they are curious about terms like "nutraceuticals," "activated" ingredients and the microbiome. In our category, we predict the important role of fiber on a healthy microbiome and gut health will continue to be studied."Matt Gennrich, senior food technologist, R.&D. bakery applications, Cargill:"...The final category that is poised to have a greater effect on bakery is sugar reduction....and consumer-friendly options for enhancing sweetness, such as stevia leaf extracts and steviol glycosides, will be key to achieving success."Sian Cunningham, marketing insights specialist, Kerry: "..Functional ingredients that boast added protein and probiotics have begun to grow within snacks, coffee, and tea, beyond their usual presence in bars, nutritional beverages and sports drinks. Although products with functional claims hold a small share of sales within bakery and snacks (1% or less), the desire for functionally nutritious products is growing."

An article of passing interest:

"Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper?".

Whilst the the article is actually inconclusive, it is interesting to note the meal patterns from different countries/ cultures.

I believe the muesli pots will be a good product when they’ve ironed out the minor issues. The 2 shakes 2 bars is not sustainable for most people. Personally waking up to a cold shake on a miserable January morning is difficult. The fact that I can eat proper food for breakfast is a major plus point for me. The fact that we’re going to be seeing slimbiome in more and more real food is what excites me as a consumer and a shareholder.

Just for balance I have tried the pots and actually quite like them, the bit at the bottom of the pot is a bit weird but I find leaving it for a few minutes helps to dissolve this. The hunger issue is the big one for me and I do find that I'm not snacking mid morning, the shake and bar then works for the afternoon. I think that if this was sold in supermarkets it would need to be available in 350 or 490g(5 or 7 days worth)bags as well as individual pots.

Hi People, if I may, my observations on the muesli pots. I mix them with warm water, and stir. No residue left on the bottom. I find they keep hunger at bay, but only as much as a good bowl of porridge. Early days yet! Bit concerned about the overall appearance of the pots. Not much info, and lid held on with sellotape. Hope for improvement shortly.

Raywhack, taste is subjective, the science is not. I don't like the muesli and a couple of my friends including elrico do not like them. The muesli did hold my hunger at bay longer than i expected, even so i'm a porridge man not a muesli man. This doe's not make the investment case any less compelling, it only serves to add to a growing list of misunderstandings and failures on your part, not Judi's, mine or any other investor.

Meanwhile UKOG shares fall like a spent rocket as the realisation of your ramping come home to roost.

Btw, new national promo material tomorrow for gofigure.

Meganxmas - don't worry about full fat milk. Do worry about the fruit juice, and the titanium dioxide they put in skimmed milk to make it white. Remember the days when hardly anyone was fat? Everyone was drinking full fat milk. It fills you up (especially with an Opti muesli pot) and stops you snacking. For even better results, make kefir out of your full fat milk. Delicious.

An article from Time magazine about the health benefits of full fat, in case you don't believe me ;-)

Goes to show if your going to put your money in to something like UKOG and say you wouldn't touch a company operating in one of the hottest areas not only in healthcare, but global markets, you have to seriously question your rationality and judgement.Prebiotics are going to be the biggest trend in the US next year. What price will they put on sweet functional prebiotic fibres?

Raywach, if i were you i would worry about UKOG missing your 3000 bopd or was this a typo and you really intended to estimate 300 bopd? If so, you are the guru on the estimates. However, how is a mere 300 bopd going to maintain the rediculous valuation of UKOG given the tapering off is already in decline from over 500 bopd.

Leave the smart money here alone and worry about your retirement funding going down the drain. No wonder you wouldn't take me up on the offer of a beer. You must be potless now.
