BTW your replies are far more civil these days Eric. Well done with that! I wish you a good weekend despite the fact that we don't agree on Opti.

Eric - How many multi-million pound companies can you name that have a handful of employees who work from their bedrooms?

Despite you and other shareholders insisting that Opti would be self funding and already be generating cash they have done neither. I said they'd have to raise funds and they did. They'll have to do it again. PLC costs have been rising year on year and I expect them to accelerate. Until we get some decent figures how can you or anyone else judge their business model? Utter nonsense.

Why would SOH need to guess revenues for 2018 when they're already 8 months in to 2018? I'm more worried that he doesn't want to release them. He certainly knows revenues in the first 6 months since he'll have to publish them by the end of August.

As for the $billion dollar companies lining up for Opti technology, I've heard it a million times on "story" stocks e.g. TERN most recently. They need those deals to justify the current market cap.

"At at 15p I think I can suggest I have been more right than wrong."

The share price has gone up but revenues haven't. Watch the figures and not the share price. TERN down 40% in a day and I can see further heartache ahead because the figures just didn't match the share price

"Once clinical studies are proven successful he’ll be watching the share price rise saying the same thing."

If they aren't successful or lacklustre then what? See IMM.

Asat - Firstly Slimbiome though seen as a large opportunity in its own right has always been seen as the product with least potential but appears to be larger than many of us first anticipated. The awards are at major global and European events such as Vitafoods you can not compare these awards with your friends local community award.SlimBiome is a unique combination of natural and clinically proven ingredients, selected to support healthy weight management and weight loss as part of a calorie controlled diet and exercise program. One of the ingredients, glucomannan, is a water-soluble dietary fibre that promotes a feeling of fullness (satiety). Experts tell us that the fibre forms a viscous gel on exposure to the aqueous environment and delays gastric emptying prompting feeling of fullness. It also blunts post meal surges in insulin and glucose. In layman's terms, it takes up space in the stomach, reducing food intake at a subsequent meal and delays the emptying of the stomach, which simply means you feel full for longer and eat less. SlimBiome also contains non-digestible prebiotic fibres, which feed the friendly bacteria in the intestine, contributing to more efficient digestion. By stimulating the growth of beneficial bacterial species in the gut SlimBiome impacts on the hormonal regulation of appetite. The prebiotic fibre in SlimBiome was selected by Dr Sofia Kolida, formerly from the department of food and nutritional sciences, Reading University, who is widely published in the microbiome field and having carried out contract work for major corporates including GlaxoSmithKline, Procter & Gamble, and Tate & Lyle. The inclusion of mineral chromium enhances the action of insulin, promoting the catabolism (breakdown) of carbohydrates (sugars) and fat in the body. Chromium also helps maintain a healthy metabolic rate – the rate at which you burn calories. The good news is that the higher and more stable your metabolic rate the more calories and fat you burn.Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism.Plays a role in the metabolism of carbohydrate and fat (Albarracinet al. 2008).Suggested to improve insulin sensitivity, increase metabolic rate and reduce food cravings (Anderson 1998; Attenburrowet al. 2002; Onakpoyaet al. 2013).Chromium depletion results in impaired glucose tolerance and glucose utilisation probably resulting from an increased resistance to the action of insulin. (EFSA, 2010)Authoritative bodies are generally in agreement that chromium facilitates the action of insulin, thus contributing to macronutrient metabolism. (EFSA, 2010)Glucomannan contributes to the reduction of body weight in the context of an energy-restricted diet:SlimBiome contains glucomannan which contributes to weight loss as part of a calorie controlled diet when consumed daily in three doses of at least 1g each, together with 1-2 glasses of water before meals. Glucomannan is a soluble-type of fibre which forms a viscous, gel-like mass in the stomach when hydrated, and that this "mass effect" could delay gastric emptying and induce satiety leading to a decrease in subsequent energy intake (Keithleyand Swanson, 2005). (EFSA, 2010)Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels:High blood sugar is a common feature of chromium depletion in humans, which is reversed by the administration of chromium (Jeejeebhoyet al., 1977; Freund et al., 1979; Brown et al., 1986; SCF, 1993; IoM, 2001; EVM, 2002).The 3x ingredients were formulated by experts and was originally developed with research from Reading, Liverpool and Sheffield universities by Professor Jason Halford, Professor Bob Rastall and Dr Sofia Kolida. The actual ingredients themselves have 1000s of publications. The ingredients are not unique it is the patented combination of all three that work synergistically. The Oxford Brooke's study though not necessary is further proof the combination of these ingredients has a much greater effect on appetite and temptation to sweet foods.'I see SlimBiome as a very important evidence-based product that will impact very positively on obesity outcomes'. Prof Jason Halford Ph.D. C.Psychol. (Health) AFBPsS, University of Liverpool, former Chair of the UK Association for the Study of Obesity, and Treasurer of the European Association of Obesity (EASO).Look these scientists up and their contributions to the field before commenting the science is laughable.Slimbiome as mentioned will only be used for the food + supplements market. If your looking for pharma play then either look at SBTX, wait for the Optiscreen to be spun out or the Optibiotic platform.

I certainly expected to see some serious profit taking today..and we did which is normal after such cracking recent rises. However it was more than balanced by pretty relentless buying which actually caused us to end up on the day..

This is a pretty major signal as normally i'd expect a pretty hefty fall followed by recovery next week as the profit takers and top slicers take their earned rewards.

But it seems the buying pressure is even overcoming those sells, which to me points to even more squeeze on the stock next week and clearly further gains.

Also apparent that none of our big holders are selling at all. Another pointer to the fact that true value has not yet been attained in their views.
Going to raise a brimming glass right now..to the strong investors here who deserve these rewards.

Thinks SBTX is overvalued!! You could not make this up. Once clinical studies are proven successful he'll be watching the share price rise saying the same thing. You'd think you would have got the picture by now.

If you read my post I said trial design was one of the major problems. In fact the 'incompetent' management got virtually nothing right, which is an absolute tragedy for Lupus patients.

So you think the dose was correct? In your extensive research for the perfect investment please point out any bit of data which suggests they had the right dosage. And as I said many times it was not the mouse experiments which were important; it was the human in vitro experiments where they needed to add a 1000 times more than was reached in vivo to see an effect. Therein lies the major problem....

TIA

Nobby

Diamond when ii buy you don't usually know or see a trade go though until it is filled, also but not always the share price stagnates around a small trading range while the order is filled which can take weeks/months to do so,ii are in no hurry unlike us smaller investors.

asat - There are 4 platforms. I respectfully suggest you visit the for yourself. If you have any questions, by all mean PM and exchange email. Anyone here will tell you I will do my best to give you the facts. If I don't have them, I know man that does.

I'm signing off for the weekend. I think I've earned it.

Have good weekend all.

asat - Unsure of your hangup with SlimBiome, which I think most of us here thought it was a small part of the group business. New developments have changed that, and whatever your opinion on OBU data, or the sample, the fact of the matter is, it is very difficult to see reviews in numbers that do not back up the fact people lose weight over a period of time, and the key fact is, "paradigm change" in weight management, supported by science backed claims. Essentially, this mean less willpower by the consumer and as the OBU study has shown, the consumer craves less, sugary, fatty and salty foods...I'm unsure, but I think this may well be a first. Of course, a wider study will be needed. What will most likely happen, is a partner will front up the costs for a more expansive study, like SACCO are doing for LP-LDL, this will further validate the science.

100% of customers who used the products over a continued period lost weight (average 1.2kg weight loss per week)
100% of customers reported that using GoFigure products led them to reduce food intake (typically by eating smaller food portions)
93% of customers reported that using GoFigure products had led to reduced snacking
83% of customers reported they felt less hungry when using the product

You may not be aware, all OPTI's platforms are validated up to and including phase 2 pharma equivalent, which I'm sure you will agree save any pharma anything between 6-8 years R&D. Significant saving, I'm sure you will agree, thus a huge draw for any pharma.

If you check the RNSs for this year alone, you will note an increase in pharma activity, many of which have a who's who big pharma on their books. Coincidence or conspiracy?

Good luck.

The increasing daily volumes are a sure sign that institutions are loading up, and with the market cap now over £100m this stock must now be firmly on the radar of NEW institutions.

I am very careful with my investments and still believe that the risk/benefit ratio was in favour of going long with IMM at the price I bought.

Me and you have very different opinions on why Imm's drug failed the phase III trial.

BTW another similarity is that Tern's revenues were always just around the corner. Opti need to produce some decent revenue and profit figures quickly or a 40% in a day drop may just be around the corner with further pain to come I feel! Also think IMM and N4P.

Girl: You were right about TERN, FUM, MONI, MOS, IEH, CPT, BST etc why don't they listen?
Mickeymouse: They can't value shares basically and just follow tip sheets with their own agendas, paid rampers, scammers, etc. I don't think they've ever read a book written by a great investor like Graham, Buffett, Lynch etc.

*4 years later - Opti is 10p

Girl: Well you did warn them. They can't blame you. Did they ever consider that consumers just wouldn't buy the products and the deals would just fall by the wayside?
Mickymouse: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink I'm afraid. ;-)
