Nobby - With respect, I think you're mixing up price sensitive with "privilege" and neither are valid. I asked Christina a number of questions, some, not all were answered because some were time sensitive and price sensitive. The questions answered could have been asked by anyone and would have got the same reply. How is this privileged? If you don't find it acceptable, then I suggest you do your own legwork and test my account of privileged material.

Your are unwittingly proving my case for setting up a group outside the disruptive nature of people like yourself.

In a more general context, the liberal social media barons were horrified to learn they had unwittingly provided the platform used so effectively by Donald Trump to win the swing states and presidency. Hypocritically, now forgetting to mention that Obama did exactly the same 4 years earlier with similar success.

So much so they have privately vowed it will never happen again - by tweaking their platform's algorithms to deliver a pre-determined left wing liberal bias.

Absolute rubbish imo, I would see that as a total waste of time and money. Each RNS costs money. The group is obviously for people who are serious, think some are fed up of those trolling Opti and certain posters.

Point taken. However, clearly for a massive company like Unilever launching a new flavour is irrelevant but I think you could argue for a small company like Opti with only a few brands it is of some significance.

Nobby - I haven't seen it either but you can't say anything new should be RNS'd. You can't just put out RNS' for the fun of it if there is e.g a new flavour coming out for GoFigure. That's rubbish saying that. The information will not be price sensitive so they are allowed to say certain things, just like some of the comms I have had with SOH posted here.

As someone who doesn't use social media, I find it very annoying that companies post information via this format. Anything even vaguely new from the company should only be in an RNS so everyone can see it at the same time.
