Indeed ToadHall, we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg in terms of products and applications, the growth prospects across all four divisions are phenomenal. Microbiome modulation products will become part of everyday life for most of us over the next decade, that's how big this field will become IMHO. OPTI are way out in front, leading the charge

Thanks Primal for the detail from SOH. I might also pick out one comment that interests me: "OptiBiome (of which SlimBiome is one product)".This can be combined with SOH's comments in recent proactive iview that a chunk of the £1mm annual expense bill is research costs. I know we have to get existing products off the ground but to grow this business into a comprehensive microbiome juggernaut of the future it's good to know they are working on a pipeline.

There is so much going on with OPTI it really is not a share to miss out on IMHO, just look at the pipeline of news over the next 6 months, UK online shop plus UK retailer presence, another 5 or 6 commercial deals of increasing magnitude, a likely dairy product launch in Asia/US/Europe trade shows and awards, SBTX divie, Sweetbiotix news, potential TATA launch for Slimbiome and LPGOS, DSM Culturell news. SBTX Human trials (we are the largest shareholder don't forget). Seriously is there a more exciting share on AIM, I think not

Fair play Nobby. I used to peak for the London with a 100 mile week two weeks prior to the London which I did about four times. Far too excessive and now i just stick to bike sessions. Indoors with nice music and sometimes a hot trainer.. Best of luck because they always hurt.!!

I have 2 more long training runs before I stop the week of the marathon. My ageing body doesn't let me do more than one long one a week!

Excellent news. I asked asked SOH more direct questions and another great response below:You can share with investors that after our discussion in the US and in Europe last week I believe we are likely to have more than 1 deal. This creates complexity in negotiations as we try to reach separate agreements for different application areas (dairy, cereal, breaded products) but will multiply up the opportunity. We of course can't guarantee anything but on the basis of current discussions I would be disappointed if we didn't get more than 1 deal. Investors should also be aware that the recent research note from Capital networks points to significant stock price upside over the coming months with an forecast share price in the region of 132p. Whilst this is paid for research the analyst is an ex Credit Suisse analyst with a good industry reputation. As further reassurance for shareholders we have just heard that both our LP-LDL and SlimBiome products have been shortlisted for a major European food industry award. The final will take place at Vitafoods in Geneva in May one of the worlds leading trade fairs for the food and drinks industry attended by over 16,000 industry decision makers. These awards are industry recognistion of the innovation in our products and bring us to the attention of a global audience which will hopefully leads to more deals in more territories.

Nobby. Try them out with plenty of time left before the race. I had a friend who drunk an isotonic drink before a marathon and he was the first one in.!! But it was the first aid tent and he was on a drip feed where he had lost too much fluid. The stuff works well but can make the stomach gurgle initially and if you are training hard do you need to be taking a weight loss food. I ran for 25 years. So i do have a back ground. Just bought some of the cranberry and coconut bars; whenever possible I try to sample products of companies I invest in.

However, I don't really need to lose weight as I am training to run the Brighton marathon in 3 weeks 😜

Not getting to excited here share price went up as soon as TW posted he bought more and as he says "There appears to be a sustained seller of Optibiotix (LSE:OPTI). I believe he is close to completing his exit but the truth is that I don’t know."
