23/1/2018 13:26 | We literally need just one mainstream newspaper to pick up this story and the others will follow suit. | parob
23/1/2018 13:19 | Which begs the question- who is out there promoting OPTI. Who is stirring up interest in institutions. Why wasn't today's RNS plastered all over the news and national press....this is a BIG deal. We have the solution to the sugar 'crisis' that is mentioned daily, yet nobody knows! Quite pathetic PR really! | f3rdinand
23/1/2018 12:59 | At the end of the day, we have been talking about sellers for 2 years now. I agree with JJ there are not enough buyers here, it has been proven with no holdings RNS, until that comes the theory is right. We have had fantastic news today but there has been under 200k shares traded. That is nowhere near good enough! | primal123
23/1/2018 12:56 | TT, When have I said investors are not interested in Opti? I have said there is simply more selling than buying (pretty obvious even for you) These sellers are according to you keeping the share price down for a purpose? What is their reason? | judijudi
23/1/2018 12:56 | IMHO There will be no re-rate of this until some figures are published in relation to turnover and profitability. This will only occur when the annual accounts are published or when SOH decides to publish either quarterly or half-yearly figures. | wreckage
23/1/2018 12:45 | Whatever the conspiracy regarding holding the share price back, I can assure you there is no short position. SOH and FinnCap have investigated via MMs and can find no open short position. There is nothing declared via the FCA site either. IMHO we have too many fickle retail investors. | elrico
23/1/2018 12:41 | Great progress today again and not being displayed in the share price, I don't know what will be the change in the price anymore! Fantastic news today! | primal123
23/1/2018 12:40 | That's exactly right Parob, it's time to topup - funds permitting - while the price is depressed. There is simply no way that this will be in the 60s come the end of the year. | colinzeal
23/1/2018 12:37 | Judi that's an overly simplistic view of the market I'm afraid. Those who are deliberately holding back the share price by drip drip 10k and 20k sells know exactly the reaction it will illicit .. I.e. to deter buyers, and keep the share price pinned down regardless of news-flow. This can be done in a variety of ways if you have the financial muscle to do so. Surely this is not more difficult to believe than your prognosis which is that investors are not interested in OPTI technology or solutions to the obesity epidemic, chronic disease or healthy sugar replacements? | trotterstrading
23/1/2018 12:22 | The offer is starting to climb F3.Like Zebbo mentioned earlier once the market actually wakes up to what is being built here, the re-rate should be as fast as the one N4P has experienced. There are very few investors on twitter who post with the hashtag #OPTI Compare that with #N4P or #VRS for example where there are numerous posters. That will change once the stock starts attracting more interest and PR/media coverage and then the herd will arrive. Buy whilst the price is depressed and the stock unloved. Just took another 7000. | parob
23/1/2018 12:20 | Even when there are buyers, the buy price keeps ticking down! This happens when the 'bots' are working a sell in the background! It's been happening for a long time now... | f3rdinand
23/1/2018 12:11 | That's bull. Been hearing that for 2 years. Simply a matter of no buyers. Little to no PR will have that effect, despite the great progress. | loungeact
23/1/2018 12:06 | so being held back as a larger entity in the background is accumulating ? | jimmylufc
23/1/2018 12:04 | TT, We are not deliberately being held back (unless there is a placing and we know that not to be the case) Who is deliberately holding us back in your view? Its quite simple to me The seller is out numbering the buyers imho | judijudi
23/1/2018 12:03 | ''90% of AIM punters are traders''- Can you support that statement with any facts and figures? | pj 1
23/1/2018 11:56 | As I have suggested before, we are being deliberately held back. The lack of buyers is a direct consequence. 90% of AIM punters are traders, the rest are poorly researched, and/or choose not to buy a share which doesn't move, even on good news. I know this because on my twitter feed I constantly get told by followers they love the research and the company is on their watchlist, but they are waiting for sentiment to turn | trotterstrading
23/1/2018 11:44 | Imo Yes! | shrewdmole
23/1/2018 11:43 | ODR - Exactly. I think it says a lot about the AIM market. People are perhaps a little too stupid to research a company and would rather follow the herd and only invest when the share price goes up. | loungeact
23/1/2018 11:37 | There is clearly still a large background seller offloading at the moment and no matter what news-flow we will be stuck until they have finished. Despite the buying this morning, the offer has been decreasing (a sure sign) Who it is and why they are selling is anyone's guess, but it's extremely frustrating! Is someone deliberately keeping us at these suppressed levels??? | f3rdinand
23/1/2018 11:30 | it wouldn't surprise me if a predator was mulling over a cheeky bid at these levels bearing in mind the progress we know is being made in the background and current lack of movement in the share price | jimmylufc
23/1/2018 10:36 | Thanks someuwin, looks like the door is wide open then. Almost another two months gone by since then. Wish they'd get on with it! | shazbo
23/1/2018 10:25 | I you held shares in a company that just virtually told you that they have the answer to world obesity, the last thing you would do if SELL !!!!! | onedayrodders
23/1/2018 10:18 | shazbo - I asked SOH that exact question back in November... 30 Nov 2017, at 14:30 Hi Stephen Is there a reason why Lactobact LDL control can’t be sold in UK pharmacists and retailers? I.e a regulatory issue? Cheers His Reply... Subject: Re: LPLDL in the UK No. Its now all about getting the right deal without given up too much in each territory. Best Wishes, Stephen OHara | someuwin
23/1/2018 10:12 | Because we do not know what contracts and agreements prospective OPTI customers have with their own current suppliers, including minimum buy quantities etc. I.E. They could currently be in a position that by promoting OPTI's products they effectively cut off their own nose......... | pj 1 |
