19/9/2017 15:19 | john henry who do you blame for not getting across to the market, i'd blame the broker but until they get some fat on the belly they wont give a buy rating, alas. | fathenry
19/9/2017 15:00 | Fathenry, some excellent news recently. However the company not getting across to the market and investors.Traders continue to swing the price around. Very few new investors are buying and holding and the continued exit of large holders prevails. | john henry
19/9/2017 14:28 | Wonder what the mood will be at the meeting tonight, not good i should imagine, given the state of play. He will no doubt fend off questions like the skin divi, more complex than he thought and put a glow position on everything and blind everyone with fancy lookin flow charts, etc., whilst not giving any figures. Hope someone pins im down to when profits are due. | fathenry
19/9/2017 12:21 | Somebody rightly said IMHO that today's news could have been 3 separate RNS. I wonder if this is SOH no longer worrying about managing the share price short term and moaning retail punters, after all look at the share price action yet again today. My guess is 99% of other AIM CEO's would have separated! I make him right if so, just get on with more important stuff and the share price will eventually catch up with events. 19/9/2017 11:24 | Maybe but its only the 50dsma acting as support for the h & s I still see playing out here. 200d looks unapproachable waiting for revenue news imho. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | bad gateway
19/9/2017 11:17 | The market makers are showing everything as sells today! So they are trying to persuade others to sell into it! I purchased 11649 at 67p but have been marked as a sell! I think there may be a bounce later! | asterix96
19/9/2017 11:15 | I don't see the point in trying a weight loss shake JUST for the taste with no interest on seeing if they deliver on the health benefits and weight loss. Somebody genuinely trying to lose weight and not having much success elsewhere, will have a much more flexible attitude to wards taste etc if they are losing 3-4 lbs in weight every week. If they tasted fantastic you wouldn't need McDonald's and have you checked the calories in those bad boys ? large ones have 1,160 !! ODR | onedayrodders
19/9/2017 11:04 | Nicktopten Thank you for that little gem of info.👍 | joyjoy13
19/9/2017 10:56 | FWIW, I had an interesting conversation with one of the head fund managers at Quilter Cheviot in the Strand a couple of months ago. (was helping my aged Uncle sort out a few things). We discussed how the market has changed in the past 15 years or so and he was interested in my AIM holdings, as they as a company invest in AIM because of the inheritance tax break it offers. Of particular interest was the Pharma side of things. "Did I remember British Biotech?" Yes, I said , and what a fraud that was! He insisted that the company was not a fraud, but the share price was! Upshot was, he said that these days, especially in the health/pharma sector institutions will not invest until proof of revenues are available. A lot of instis got burnt back in the day it seems..... this guy is aware of Opti and is waiting.... | nicktopten
19/9/2017 10:48 | Croasdale ... you can add extra water no problem and what I find really makes them good is if you whizz it using crushed ice in a blender . I certainly think they are fab and generally I hate shakes ... | suzypink
19/9/2017 10:36 | Invoices are usually on a 90 day period, not that it matters because the monthly cost is 95k according to elrico. If the national deals bring in 300 to 500k pa each this covers plc costs, Tata will blast us into profit within months of not weeks. | slartybartfaster
19/9/2017 10:35 | John The answer is currently no it doesn't but it's not that far away. Recent deals will almost certainly be adding current revenues, albeit small, but we don't know how much. Think breakeven is planned for 2018, but a fair question to ask. | deeppockets
19/9/2017 10:23 | True gofigure is grainier in texture and nowhere sweet as slimfast. With slimfast i found i was getting a sugar hit which caused cravings later in the day and evening, no such issue with gofigure. I did find adding teaspoon molin syrup to the shake added sweetness if i wanted it and make the shake much smoother. Slimfast didnt work for me whereas gofigure does. It helps if you use a shaker rather than mix by hand. | unluckymouse
19/9/2017 10:18 | Will buy back in, but believe the share price has further down momentum. Lots of good news, but that's not the same as cash coming in the door. | nimrod22
19/9/2017 10:02 | The missus and I I tried the Gofigure shakes - though neither of us are overweight. Both of us thought the consistency was too gloopy and the missus with more experience than me having tried slimfast and others - thought that Gofigure didn't compare favourable with Slimfast on taste or texture. As regards dieting , we didn't take it long enough to gain a benefit | croasdalelfc
19/9/2017 09:54 | What mix issue, it takes me 5 or 7 seconds to mix my shake while my protein shakes take 30 seconds, no lumps at all. As i see it there will be no difference to taste change, texture yes and mix and blend yes and a wider application. | unluckymouse
19/9/2017 09:49 | Tony, as Colin says the valuation is currently justified but the market is now waiting for actual revenues. What you will see is that SOH is putting together a range of commercial agreements that give OPTI royalty or licensing payments but the manufacturing and distribution is done by others so all the payments to OPTI drop straight to the bottom line. With the range of partners, if these products do what it's claimed and they become popular, and the signs are very good, the revenues could rise dramatically, forcing a massive re-rating. As someone mentioned recently the business has 4 different strands so in effect each one is valued at £15m - comparatively cheap as chips! Welcome aboard - this is a very good BB with some extremely well informed posters. | deeppockets
19/9/2017 09:46 | fwiw - I made a small purchase this am, but is showing as sell. Probably because lower than bid price + 1/2 difference in spread. MU | m4rtinu
19/9/2017 09:43 | With the lack of share price movement, despite all the great news, I'm getting a sense that the only news that will propel Opti in the right direction, is if they announced that all the staff at Opti are now pooing out little Golden nuggets. John | 2350220
19/9/2017 09:38 | Because everything is already priced into the share price mate. The market wants hard sales figures / projections now, as they have done for some time. Until that happens the share price will remain static. It's all well and good have 'deals', 'MoUs', 'agreements' and 'partnerships' but they need to display visible revenues. SHOW ME THE MONEY indeed. Rome wasn't built in a day and a lot of patience is required. | colinzeal
19/9/2017 09:21 | I still do not understand after all the positive news there has been Who does not the market investors realise the potential of this company A very confused share holder | tony773
19/9/2017 09:18 | harold... losing weight is exactly why i kept using irrespective of any issues around mixing. vested interest in success with money invested yes but not to extent i will keep taking a product that doesnt work. to be fair to gofigure the stuff does work and to be fair i really like the bars. | meganxmas
19/9/2017 09:14 | It's the pounds and pence coming in that we and the the institutions would like to see. I believe a huge amount of patience is needed in this stock..........somet | pyglet |
