Good find Risky.I see a Douglas Quinn was appointed as a Director on the 22nd Dec, the same date as Jim Laird's termination as a director.

In a funny way I don't mind having a high margin requirement for OPTI, it saves me from myself :-)

The last year has been tough, but when it goes up it goes up fast with no chance of getting much volume, so better to ride it out. I'm a scientist and having met SOH last Feb I totally get his approach and also his genuine enthusiasm and drive for the microbiome opportunity, plus he has the corporate experience behind him - that's a combination you don't often get, which I see in my day to day job. There are a lot of scientists who think running a business will be easy, when doing the science is usually the easist bit. Playing the corporate game always takes longer than you think. Looks like 2017 is going be rewarding.

I avoid IG like cat does water; I use Core for my OPTI SB where I have an open 200pp position in addition to my core holding, the 200pp has a notional value of £16000 with a margin £3800, but I keep 3 x cash to avoid being stopped out. Thus far core have not increased their margin requirements for any company equity trades, they did increase margin requirement for several index and pare trades for currency markets during the referendum and US elections.

This stock has been itching to go higher for months but every time we've made any headway, a sizeable block has been dumped onto the market and halted any momentum. I'm sure in the future we'll be grateful that we were given such a long period to accumulate stock on the cheap, just like the helium days when the ceiling was 40p for about four months. We've been incredibly patient, it's been excruciatingly painful to see the stock slowly drop month-by-month when you're sure you're onto a winner and you believe the MC should be higher. It looks like that patience is about to pay off with sentiment taking a swift positive turn and the volume to back it up. Here's a reminder of SOH's email to TW last summer:"Commercially, I have not experienced this level of interest in any company I have worked in or led in the last 30 years. I had to put more cash into my IG account a couple of months ago to cover my OPTI holding. Didn't sell a share, but it makes it virtually a cash position. I was also told that any share issue like SkinBiotix would be automatically covered by new spreadbets - basically I wouldn't be out of pocket by any corporate divestments etc.

I'm very happy about this week's price movements. Told a friend on Wednesday that OPTI was waking up (he sold at 68p last year), we seem to be breaking up and the dynamic has changed. Baseline established, downtrend breaking, the only logical way is up now. Tempting to buy more, but it's already about 70% of my total holdings!

I've just checked the margin requirement on IG and they have increased dramatically on OPTI. This may have caused a CFD SB positions to close.

Guys my point wasn't that I bought!!

It was the mm's response and behind the scenes orders that appear to be being worked that I thought may shed some light on the underlying strength we are currently experiencing.

everybody seems to want to comment on whether I should or shouldn't post if or when I sell yet nobody has mentioned that the mm's unanimously stated they are buyers of Opti shares and asked if I would sell any?!

I'd say that's a real change in sentiment and MM stance.

I went to Bluewater today , and walking around was given ten diet cakes ( 90 calories each ) as samples ,would it not be a good idea to give go figure bars the same treatment?

Go figureToday 16:08Started go figure shakes and bars 3 days ago. Too soon to see weight progress yet but re products. I think I would say there are small improvements that could be made but I'd give them 3.5/5. I'm certainly not hungry in fact struggling sometimes to force down both shakes in a day.

I often found people that infuriate you are best ignored.Opinions matter either way and can be used to the best of your knowledge. Playground talk well that always happens. Once saw a big poster on a forum knock down every bad comment for over five years and he still posts now ignoring everyone else. So why stop posting!!!

I agree with Scotty...if you're happy to post that you're buying then be happy to share that your dumping stock too! Otherwise it looks a little manipulative in my eyes! Many will disagree with us and that's great too as it's an open board where all views are allowed to be aired...(except for Michaelmouse)

I only posted yesterday to give others the feedback from the mm's.

I sold my leveraged holding last year as I didn't want the exposure in leveraged shares when it was in a downtrend.

I have held a majority of my paid up stock.

I shall refrain from sharing info in future.
