01/6/2018 18:30 | Back to opti. Any word on a trading update for the first six months of 2018 (DEC 2017-MAY 2018)? Revenues would do? Are YSF still offloading tiny amounts of their 12% holding into the market? Odd that don't you think with all those institutional investors gagging for shares in the bailout placing? Tbh wouldn't they just ask YSF for 2/3% of their shares in an off market trade? That's what I'd do, it'd be all nice and orderly. Just strikes me as strange. As ever AIMHO. | michaelmouse
01/6/2018 18:27 | Eric - As I said to 1bokke, if you wish to post about Trakm8 then do so on the appropriate thread. If you have concerns about Trakm8 then go for it Eric, although I'm a bit confused since you tweeted:- ""elrico @LEMMINGINVESTOR Follow Follow @LEMMINGINVESTOR More #trakm8 a recovery play? #finncap suggest #theAA could be c£100 or 10EPS target 180p, now 91p. Restated accounts a concern, but could be worth a punt for the braver PI." This was re-tweeted on my twitter feed by blondeamon. I don't suppose anything surprises me about the trolls that spend countless hours on this site." Anyway, go for it Eric whether you're a bear or a bull on trakm8? LOL. | michaelmouse
01/6/2018 17:58 | Hypocrisy in full flow again from Michelemouse. "It's actually called "intellectual debate" in my world something you'd know nothing about I suspect." Is that right Michellemouse. Before I pop to the pub for a few slurps....may I remind you an example of an "intellectual debate" now 3 days old and you still create noise hoping nobody notices your FEAR! elrico 30 May '18 - 23:44 - 2279 0.002000 Michellemouse - I'm guessing you'll be needing some of CholBiome the way your are going. I have to say, your hypocrisy is breathtaking!! Perhaps you can help us all understand why TRAKM8's bailout placing is better than OPTI's placing. To help you I have offered up some facts for you. Pay attention to the numbers. Be honest, for once, please! TRAKM8 issued 1,186,150 shares represented 9.94 percent of the total number of shares in issue at a 17.2 percent discount to the prevailing share price, raising £2.1m before expense. OPTI issued 2,419,355 (c2.25 per cent) at 62p c6 per cent discount, raising £1.5m. The other contrast between the two placings. TRAKM8 was to tidy the balance sheet up after over egging the profits (losses by the way). Increase working capital and help pay down debt. OPTI has pretty much nil capex because of the partnership structures. Unlike TRAKM8 which has ongoing capex to keep pace with it's competitors. The only liar here is you. You cannot call investors liars because we believed the CEO when he reiterates there is no need for further funding. Just because we believe and statement it does not make us liars. So Michellemouse, how brave are you feeling? Do you think you can offer a transparent and honest reason why one placing is good and the other is bad? Do you remember this? My comment on TRAKM8 July 2016 TRAKM8 reported pre tax had been boosted from £1.7m to £3m, but appeared to me at least to have ignored costs associated with the two acquisitions, £1.852m and £861k, which bring pre tax down to c£2m. Also, the cash of £4.44m once again appears to ignore capitalisation costs of £600k and £1.85m to cash should be nearer £2m. I imagine a placing within a year. Could it really afford to pay a 2p divi? Based on the above it appears unjustified, but then I am not an investors, so it's easy for me to be critical. But having said that, we see divi's paid out be a lot of AIM companies that are attempting to fool investors. Again, I am not suggesting TRAKM8 are doing this, I just don't know yet, but it asks questions of the EBITDA model of accounting. Oh and the answer to "can they afford a divi?" Turns out they could after all. So not only did call the placing correct, I also suggested they shouldn't have paid a divi. No broken clock, no guessing! | elrico
01/6/2018 17:40 | On the contrary I love intellectual debate, you however haven't any concept of what that means. You deal in half truths at best, it has been obvious for so long now that your only interest here is to try to cause harm to individuals and that your vehicle for achieving that is to trash OPTI. As for commenting on the trak thread, having done my research to my satisfaction I don't believe it's a worthwhile investment so wouldn't dream of commenting on a thread where I have no earthly business being there... I guess that's just one of the differences between us. | 1bokke
01/6/2018 17:15 | Bob - maybe so, but I think OPTI might just have one or two other agreements/ products which are a bit further down the road for the nearer future ;) | m4rtinu
01/6/2018 17:14 | bobalot - "Food ingredient evaluations followed by product development and approvals TAKES LOADS OF TIME...Think on imo." Quite correct. In fact it takes years and the bigger the company the longer it takes. In well over two years since I've been here I've heard Slimfast, Boots, P&G etc being touted as being interested. What have we had since then? Zilch. Sorry 191,000 quid in revenues in 2017 which had fallen from the previous year!! Getting stuff on the market is just stage 1. If customers don't buy the products then Opti will soon be dropped by their partners. Look what's already happened to GoFigure sales, basically SFA following a brief flurry at launch. Aimho of course. | michaelmouse
01/6/2018 17:04 | 1bokke - "I couldn't help but notice that trak is almost down to its 52 wk floor... Gulp" Here's a radical idea. Pop along to the trak thread and discuss your concerns there, I'm sure trak investors will help you out. ;) Out of interest, do you consider discussing the pros and cons of a company and it's valuation trolling? It's actually called "intellectual debate" in my world something you'd know nothing about I suspect. | michaelmouse
01/6/2018 16:56 | Food ingredient evaluations followed by product development and approvals TAKES LOADS OF TIME...Think on imo. | bobalot
01/6/2018 16:47 | Incidentally Eric, I hope you're being paid for the long hours you appear to be putting in as Opti's and shareprophets bulletin board PR and "fake news" agent? I suppose it's quite a clever way of distancing themselves from e.g. THERE WILL BE NO PLACING comments or trying to silence anybody with opposing views. They can simply turn around and accuse you of getting it wrong. Anyway, if you're just the unpaid skivvy which I suspect you are then ask for some remuneration e.g "a bung of shares in Opti" or on second thoughts insist on cash. LOL. Back to opti. Any word on a trading update for the first six months of 2018 (DEC 2017-MAY 2018)? Revenues would do? Are YSF still offloading tiny amounts of their 12% holding into the market? 01/6/2018 16:31 | A plummet to the 63p region might very well happen imo...and then intersected by the opti rampers yet again to drive it back up. | bobalot
01/6/2018 16:29 | Hey Bob, looks like you have sold. Hope you get the re entry point you want.....but dont try to hard | zebbo
