The point is this news needs to be weighed up together with the independent taste studies.. I.e. sweeter than sugar with less of the 'off' tastes of other sugar alternatives. That's a pretty good place to be when being evaluated in global consumer goods products

Of course it's evaluation.. these are consumer goods.. these global dairy producers don't just plonk it their products and hope for the best ;0)

Maybe I am wrong but I am not looking at this news in isolation. It might only mention an evaluation with one global company but this could be the start of all the rest...a replacement for lots of ingredients world wide...good posibility now..

For somebody who thinks so little of Optibiotix, you spend a lot of time writing pointless messages on the boards!

Keep saying it ... Slowly slowly ... Let the value build and the price follow. No one can doubt the value being created here. In some respects it is similar to what is going on at vrs. Pretty low cash burn, great IP and a shrewd partnership / licensing model whereby many multinational companies are collaborating / assessing at their cost.

Evaluation will lead to validation and major contracts. Be in no doubt this is very positive for OPTI.

This is an evaluation of Sweetbiotics, not a commercial agreement, so let's not get carried away.
If successful, sweet will be spun-off like SBTX. imho.

I got that mate just a bit confused on ii comment.

Not that it matters I'm sure there would have been no shortage of takers had they been offered it.

Got another 100k ish myself on the dip so I'm happy.

I think that will have cleared a lot of the doubts even for hardened supporters now so we can look on with great anticipation to watch this pan out.

Well as I said yesterday, I took part in the placing and I am definitely the former rather than the latter!

Seriously what a pointless RNS. lol.

non-exclusive evaluation agreement. WTF is that exactly? LOL.

How long is the evaluation period? 1, 2, 3 years.....?

Any news on revenues from Dec 17- May 18 Steve? Are they more than the £75,000 recorded last year?

Will there be any more fund raises? LOL.

US pharma next?

The list of partners gets ever more impressive.
Yes this is early stage but with the right size companies.

Soh plan of getting quick deals done with smaller companies to gain acceptance is spot on now the big boys are knocking at the door.

Surely there will be a financial journalist somewhere starting to take note of opti.

One point I would like clearing up I've read that the placing was a few hnwi but then elricos post says ii and they wanted more?

Great to see the first Sweetbiotix commercial partnership is with one of the top 7 global dairy companies. Should this turn into an agreement, we could be looking at one of the biggest deals to date.
