Raf - Indeed, but timing was pure guesswork. I have nothing to support it but hope.

Lodger - Love the old Queen stuff, nothing like them. Prefer march of the black queen though.

I suspect the news that will have the biggest impact is something that we're not even aware of yet.

i.e news completely out of the blue.

Elrico, I believe you thought we might hear something on the SBTX share distribution in one to four weeks from a couple of weeks back? If you are correct that news must be due quite soon I would have thought. So, yes it could be an interesting week next week.

Is this the real life or is this just fantasy?

Or is it easy come, easy go, little high, little low?

:-D

Ricky - Your opinion on multiple identities is like Michaelmouses or anyone else's; it has no merit without backing it up with evidence or at least logic. Everyone knows my real name, it's no secrete. REGISTERING ANOTHER PSEUDONYM TO WHAT END?

I will follow the previous posts and filter you because you offer nothing. Not sure what happened because I thought I had already filtered you. I'll try again. Tata.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for everyone that filters another to copy it as above. At least this way the offender knows their audience is diminishing all the time.

Agree with you my chelski friend - next week could be interesting. However, we must not lose sight that Tata news can't be too far off either. Also, large retail chain for GoFigure and of course SBTX special divi. There is much more in the pipeline to propel us than there is to hold us back. Famous last words.

So this is what happens to the share price when Mr. 10k seller takes the afternoon off!

If we can hold todays gains we could get another boost on friday if mickey mouse would be kind enough to prosthesis another cold winter chart rollover, it could just be enough to push us through the 80p mark and set us up nicely for next week, when we could reasonably expect contract news from the those 'draft contracts.'

The big positive for me is the apparent drop in the time it takes to draft a contract, presumably a period of dotting the i and crossing the t.

A couple of decent buys over on nex too. I mentioned it the other day, but over the past few days we haven't seen any 50K/large block sales into the upward strength - first time for months. This is our 6th blue day in a row and momentum seems to be building. Long may it continue!

When are we likely to hear news on Skin shares? I would like to buy 50k Sbtx shares but I'm wondering if I should hold off until we know, as Opti holders, if we will given any free shares.

Just had my first Lush Banana shake as a lunch replacement. Didn't taste too bad at all. Now let's see if I can get to dinner without snacking, apart from a Cacoa Orange flapjack bar of course!

Just arrived from penny share

Optibiotix has launched its slimming and anti-cholesterol products at a big trade fair in Geneva.

Apparently OPTI's stand was swamped with interest: "Both LPLDL® and SlimBiome® were extremely well received with high interest in the distribution and sale of these products from partners across Europe, Japan, India, Asia, Australia and the USA."

The most interesting news is in the quote from Stephen O'Hara: "We are extremely pleased with the very high level of interest from both national and multinational companies interested in selling our products. This has already resulted in some companies sending through draft contracts." (emphasis mine)

We're waiting for a big food company to start making products based on OPTI's science, that's the basic play here. When a deal like that happens, it could transform the share price, since OPTI's cost base is extremely low.

We've been waiting for the deal for a few months now. But this week's news seems to show that things are moving along. OPTI is still a BUY.
