25/6/2020 14:35 | They've not doubled their debt - they used the loan, which isnt due for repayment for 3 years, to pay off existing debt that was due for repayment a lot earlier.Hence they're freed up cash flow.Trading update end of March their debt was £50m, and as reported yesterday debt is now £44m due to a further £6m repaid from own cash in the bank. Paying 1% less interest is the bonus point. | ballychan
25/6/2020 11:39 | So they've just doubled up on their debt to help pay their existing debt & the interest on that new debt is 10%. Sounds great! Indian company what do you expect | imnotspartacus
24/6/2020 17:19 | Well well.. that was an unexpected great piece of news today. This has been priced as having a high risk of going bust (1.5 x EBITDA) but the debenture deal gives them a much bigger chance of riding the covid fallout. And if they do, and return to making $35 million EBITDA and paying off debt they could be worth multiple times todays market cap. But has anyone noticed? | mikro1
24/6/2020 14:38 | * New cenkos note, here is the summary. The Group has strengthened its liquidity position through the placing of 2,000 non-convertible debentures, raising gross proceeds of c£21.2m. The entire proceeds have been utilised to finance the prepayment of term loan principals out to June 2022, improving the Group's flexibility to manage cash flows in the short- to medium-term | igoe104
22/6/2020 21:37 | An extremely unlikely scenario, because I would imagine MM would not sell the last of their holdings, as it would put them out of business having no stock to sell. That said, to encourage holders to sell some back to them, they would have to raise the bid price even further than what they achieved from selling all that remained in the first place. | azalea
22/6/2020 20:51 | @azalea If someone came and bought all 25-30% of stocks, that are not currently owned by majors, how much more can the price realistically go up? Profits can be distributed in the form of dividends, so that I believe is something else. Thanks | altras
19/6/2020 11:57 | The fact that directors added to their holdings in the Dividend investment plan and institutions have not sold, suggests that better times are ahead for OPG; which might become apparent later this year, when the FY results are reported. | azalea
19/6/2020 10:49 | Guys, please help me understand something. How can the share price of a company like OPG really go up, if it has major share holders owning about 70/75% of shares and these major shareholders are neither selling or buying? What am I overlooking? | altras
11/6/2020 19:30 | Hindsight is a wonderful thing - difficult to judge sometimes when the market is rising and falling Some people set price ranges to sell at X PriceIt also depends how active you can be - and your risk reward strategy with the associated timeline The flip side is you can sell and further rises... | nathandc

11/6/2020 10:57 | Opg has been effected but demand has increased in May They have offset the C19 impact with operational reductions - the price of hedged coal will make a massive difference The margins and associated profit - should be OK This will get back to normal in FY 2H - July - we may see increased demand as business works additional hours ... | nathandc
11/6/2020 07:47 | India still seems to be in a mess though with covid, like many countries they are easing lockdowns before they have got on top of things. Not sure if it affected Opg now ? | dave4545
