Judi,

A data-led CRO generating data? Looks like a virtuous circle to me.

It’s say’s above that that the management are primarily focussed on cementing Orph’s position as a unique CRO company
When in fact CF has publicly stated he wants Orph to be primarily a data focused company
Surely they can’t be one and the same 🤷‍a94;️

Taken from Vox Markets, just published earlier today, a reminder of the potential that's not priced in either. Planned DisposalWhen Open Orphan acquired hVIVO in January 2020, hVIVO also came with a number of non-core assets including a 62.6% stake in PrEP Biopharm. However, the new Open Orphan Board and management team are primarily focussed upon cementing its position as a unique CRO and 'world leader vaccine and antiviral testing using human challenge study models, and therefore earmarked all non-core assets for disposal. The options for disposal of this unique asset are exciting, numerous and particularly timely given its mode of action. These options could include a trade sale to a Big-Pharma for cash, reverse the asset into the resurgence of listed SPACs and Cash Shells, or even Spin the asset out into a newly listed entity delivering investors dividends in specie of newly formed companies. In any event, OPRH shareholders would do well to remain on the Shareholder register when this transaction takes place as, whilst the valuation of PrEP Biopharm is currently unknown, with little carrying value on the Open Orphan balance sheet, it should advance the share price accordingly.

NHS dishing out wearables to the over 65s. Mentioned that could happen some months ago. Currently just oxygen monitors which tell you to go to hospital or your gp if levels drop below 92%. iirc.

A bit more software, a bit more hardware, a disease progression database and the nhs could have a comprehensive early warning system for several diseaes, including covid. Could save lives and lots of nhs cash with early detection and treatment.

Do u notice how all nay sayers disappear when some positive news is found or released. Tomorrow morning wethers there's a rns or not I suspect it will be used by many to buy or add. I did yesterday.

Hats off to you rivaldo for finding that. Surely a confirmational RNS in the morning. If not time to add to an already overweight position. A great day all round with AAZ surging on today's news. That was known by those that follow the company for some time but the market didn't take notice until it was Rn'sd today. I think the same will happen here :)

I presume this means ethical approval granted or the contract wouldn't have been finalised

See today's UT is bigger than yesterday's lol. I think it is a delayed sell so not expecting anything tomorrow other than another down day.

Unless they want to keep the lid on the shareprice of course...

They have already announced it of course, but headlined as £10m at the time plus the 3 deposits of £7.5m total. So they have the option of RNS-ing a bit more detail and headlining the £46m, perhaps together with an update on progress with characterisation, ethical approvals and recruitment?
