""£20M in the Bank is a huge advantage.""

If you look at their administrative costs then £20m cash isn't that much.

They need continuous contracts just to keep going.

I don't post just read but thought i'd wade into the buyback debate.

When things are tough and appear like they might get tougher cash is king.

Preserve capital and take advantage of some businesses that might need to be sold or sell some of their assets. its what good businesses do whilst the weak flounder

A share buyback to support the share price is a waste of key capital- cash imho

Im underwater like many but am sitting here as i believe good will out in the end despite the pain in getting there

good luck all

m5,

"£20M in the Bank is a huge advantage."

It is. And it is part of what gives me some peace as I suffer the current share price. I would far rather it were there than given as a divi or used for a buy back. Markets are still in decline - why buy back at this price when they might be cheaper tomorrow? That's the place we are with the markets right now. And October is rarely a pretty month.

Just a view.

Pound low, foreign companies should be queueing at the door for our services. Or better still lining up a bid....I love dreaming

No CF said in his last interview that we would be “surprised and delighted” over the coming months
Or words to that effect

CF said shareholders will be:
“surprised and delighted”
What with a share price struggling to hold just 8p
Oh CF we sure are delighted 🤦🏻🙈😩

One big positive is we are not in a situation where we need to raise money, in this market that is a nightmare. £20M in the Bank is a huge advantage.

Awful out there. Our problem has been its been a pretty terrible 15 months or so in terms of our share price. Business looks well placed and the future does look rosey.

Unfortunately CF promised the earth, or certainly intimated it, and ultimately fell well short. Markets hate that.We have paid a heavy price for that and whilst many are pleased he is now very silent, I think the one extreme to the other has not helped sentiment. TBH I think he has hid behind MO somewhat when he should have taken it on the chin and fronted it up, just my opinion.

I think we are silly cheap at this juncture, but its going to be a haul to get us back up to reasnoble levels. I am hoping that our cash pile will be used to good effect and something out of left field will give us a welcome boost. Of course we need to get some Institutions on board and still waiting for MO to put his hand in his pocket. I know there has to be a window but that can be used as an excuse forever and a day, not saying its the case with MO but it's a fact. Lets hope for better times.

You would have thought Imutex's chances of finding a buyer at a decent price might be improving with the expected return of flu.

"The UK must prepare for a big, early wave of flu, experts warn, based on what Australia has just experienced during its winter."

The company per se is working and Mo is a professional CEO , not a blagger.

I can see the order book continuing to grow.

CF ultimately has made too many promises that haven't done his reputation any favours, he does not control the markets, probably a good thing he's in the background these days.

Dutch Auction!
You don't have to buy the shares all in 1 go.
It can be done over a few quarters.
It's all about generating liquidity.
