They certainly wouldn't have bought this unless they think that revenue can be created. Although even One Media can be allowed a mistake here and there!

Not sure I am a buyer of men &motors aftershave... I think I would rather use sooty and sweep shampoo...where there is trash there is cash

I would add NCI Vehicle Rescue to your list, GHF; going strong now after sorting things out.

Agree harrogate & microscope.

Time for a fresh broker note, especially with strategic change we have witnessed recently.

OMIP,along with fellow ISDX stock Sprue Aegis (SPRP), are my most comfortable investments. They have both delivered growth & I would consider them ZULU stocks with excellent management. In the case of OMIP the FB comment pretty much sums it up with warrant issue now behind it & hopefully no further dilution.

Would a market move create further value?

I would argue that any move should be timed with a larger acquisition/deal and reckon that we'd receive a better rating. I base this opinion on my investments in previous PLUS stocks Ideagen (formerly Datum) and dotDigital who have seen a marked increase in their respective share prices on move to AIM.

GHF

Of all the companies I've invested in over the last few years, this is the one I have most confidence in. Great deals, recurring revenues, strong cash, no debt and the support of the absolute industry leader.

I'm well used to small stocks under the radar, and overnight 50% rises are never going to be the order of the day. I'd rather it this way and when we do break out, that's when the strong sustainable rises will be seen. I'm more than hopeful 2013 will be the year we get a substantial deal, move to a higher market and overdue recognition, largely feel that because the company has positioned itself so well strategically in its niche (yet potentially enormous and explosive) marketplace. Bring it on!

An updated broker note to show everyone what the next 2 years could look like following the large acquisition a few months ago and other deals and progress made would be a big help. Welcome to the world of small cap investing M1s!!!

The bid ticked up didn't it.... should really be filling our boots here as the next leg up could be powerful. This company has really delivered.

Small share purchase yesterday (50,000) but other than that it seems that no matter how good the news is the share price doesn't budge - I reckon OMiP could win the lottery, cure the common cold, find the lost city of Atlantis, develop a fuel cell that never runs out and buy out ITV, BBC, Channel 4 & 5 but until it gets to a market that will appreciate ,it its share price is stuck in the mud!

Nice comment on the OMiP Fb Page

It's been a very pleasing 2012 regarding newsflow. Some great investment by content acquisitions (too many to mention here). Good distribution routes. Good industry relations. Digital media purchasing gathering pace. Very interesting to see where we go with video content (and YouTube too!). A house move. A name change. 2x divi. Tight shareholder base. Off-radar and still well below the 19-month-old Hybridan target. Very good to see some warrants for key management too. Shareholders should be happy with the efforts made by Directors, Management and all Employees. Low overheads. Good cash position. No debt. Fantastic. Enjoy the Xmas period and lets wait see whats in the pipeline for 2013.!

Appreciate if any OMIP holders could confirm if they've had the dividend payment credited through their respective broker accounts yet...before I give them a call.

Thanks

OMiP was sited as being in the top clients list of the Orchard when the Orchard merged with Sony - I would call it 'client care'

My take on it is that any company being offered advances should always take the money -

The advance definitely seems to me to point to an acquisition and maybe would enable a move to AIM as well.
I wouldn't say it precludes a placing/lending , all depends on the size of any deal they might have in mind.

That's how I see it harrogate...I'm sure MI told me as much in a previous conversation.

I also wonder what MI has up his sleeve (& no, I don't mean sooty or sweep ;-)
This is a far larger advance and I can only assume that there is the potential for a larger deal and this advance precludes a placing/lending.

Exciting times!

I see it as a draw on future commissions and so just a cashflow issue and not a P&L issue. I agree it would be nice to understand what period of commissions it is but we aren't going to find out. I have just increased my holding since I feel the size of this advance is intriguing

I wish I understood the Orchard deal... Are one media discounting their sales to get this up front payment, if so by how much...?... Anyway it has to a pretty important vote of confidence, but not a single buy yet

Have you seen the newish corporate presentation on the website?

Wow, Orchard giving us another vote of confidence. i sense there's a real big deal in the offing, when not if imho, but that's only my guess.
Excited!

Interesting to know what this all means. If it is just an advance on royalties then it has no earnings impact but must mean that Orchard are pleased with the relationship and I suspect also means that MI has his beady eyes on something to use the money for !! If we buy content that brings in revenue in this way without borrowing or dilution that must be a good business model. The size of this deal is exciting and could form the basis of a lot of activity. Hope so but that is my reading of it.
